Mike was so welcoming, funny, and knowledgeable. He showed me around, explained all the details about the equipment, and other amenities they have in the gym. He definitely eased my anxiety going in there and overall he was just very nice, funny, and welcoming. He was also super good with my baby, even though he does only work at the desk, I think it’s important that anyone who works there has a warm personality towards others, especially children. The gym was busy, but any gym will be busy especially at the time I went to visit. When I first walked in, I was not impressed with how busy it was, but as he showed me around I realized it was not as full of people as it seemed at first glance. It’s also a very aesthetically pleasing gym, definitely a good gym for younger people who prioritize atmosphere where they are working out, they have a bunch of equipment, it’s big, and open, and the workers all seem very nice, Mike was super nice and I can’t wait to to greet him again when I go workout!

I signed up for the tour consultation and day pass.
I don't recommend signing up for the first one of the day because the staff do not show up until right at 9am and you'll have to wait, and members are warned of revocation of night key card access if they let you in.
The 3rd shower in the men's room didn't have a soap dispenser, and the locker room smelled like sweaty clothes in lockers, but all in all, my expectations were met, but I didn't sign up because I still wanted to check out Anytime and Crunch.
Summer was direct but not pushy in the sales pitch to sign up for annual membership for $420/yr plus tax.

I always have a great time working out at 4 Star. No matter which location I go to, the gyms are consistently great, well-maintained and have friendly staff. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case when I visited the Moore location with my wife and spoke with Brianna.

I’m a member, and my wife wanted to join me for a workout. In the past, I’ve always experienced that local guests checking out the gym for the first time are offered a free day pass. That was my own experience before I decided to become a member.

However, when I asked Brianna about a day pass for my wife, she told me it would be $15 and that passes are only free for those intending to sign up for a membership. When I asked, “What if she is considering signing up?” Brianna responded with a noticeably snarky attitude, implying that I would be lying and stated that neither of us could work out if that was the case.

Unfortunately, we decided my wife would leave, and I stayed to work out despite the unpleasant interaction. I’ve spoken with other members who have confirmed that offering a free guest pass to locals has never been an issue. If the policy has changed, that’s completely understandable—but the professionalism and customer service from Brianna was terrible.

In my opinion, poor treatment like this is one of the quickest ways to discourage potential members or even cause existing ones to cancel. I hope this feedback can help clear up any confusion and can help create a more friendly environment at the gym.

I had a pretty frustrating experience at this gym. I called ahead to inquire about their first-time visitor policy, and I was told by a man named Mike that the first visit would be free of charge. Based on that information, I decided to bring myself and my girlfriend in to check it out.

However, when we arrived, a woman working at the front desk informed us that the first visit would only be free if we were planning to sign up for a membership. Instead, she charged us $15 for the visit, which was a completely different story than what I had been told over the phone.

This inconsistency feels misleading and honestly a bit scammy. If there are conditions attached to the free visit (such as needing to consider a membership), that should be communicated clearly from the start—whether on the phone, on their website, or in person. It’s frustrating to get different information from different staff members, especially when it comes to something as basic as pricing.

Transparency is key in any business, and I left feeling misled and disappointed. I’m not sure I’ll be coming back, as this left a bad taste about how they handle potential new members.

Horrible customer service. They have continued to charge me $32 a month for a membership I have canceled over a year ago. I have called several times and even paid to have the membership canceled. When I called after continuing to be charged they said they couldn’t find in their system where I paid to have it canceled. That worries me with where my money went. I filed a complaint with BBB. I will continue to file complaints until this is sorted out. I do not recommend them at all. I even had a conversation with the owner over Facebook on the Moore page and he was completely unprofessional. Save your money and time. Go elsewhere.

Terrible customer service: My wife has been charged over $500 because they refuse to cancel her subscription. Everyone that we’ve talked to has been beating around the bush saying that they would help her out but never due. They even charged her $100 as a cancellation fee but continue to charge her. Even the manager has chewed her out for her trying to cancel and writing a bad review for their customer service. We’ve made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau so hopefully this will be resolved otherwise we’ll continue to file complaints and reports until she gets a refund.

Love this place! Excellent facility! Excellent equipment! They added a new shopping kiosk area where you scan your method of payment, walk in, get what you need, and walk out. A lot of IFBB pros workout here who are also great to chat with and get tips from when they are not in the zone. There is NO basketball court in this gym, which is a plus!

The downside are the ones that sit on the machines and stay on their phones for 10mins between sets, especially during peak hours (between 3pm - 6pm), but that is expected, as well as the packs (Wolves, YoungLA, etc).

I had a really uncomfortable experience at the gym recently that I feel needs to be addressed. My friend and I were waiting to use the tanning bed, which was clearly locked and marked ‘in use.’ Out of nowhere, an older man who was definitely not staff managed to unlock the door from the outside, peek inside, and then lock it again. It was super weird and made us feel really uneasy, especially since the tanning room is a private space where people can be in vulnerable situations.

When we brought it up to a staff member she pretty much brushed it off, saying she knew the guy and that the locks are ‘finnicky.’ Honestly, that’s not reassuring at all. If the locks are unreliable, they need to be fixed immediately to ensure everyone’s privacy and safety.

It’s really disappointing that our concerns were dismissed just because the staff member ‘knew’ the person. This is a serious safety issue, and I really hope the management takes it seriously. I love this gym, but this incident made me question how much they prioritize member safety and privacy.

Respectfully, don’t offer a free day pass to first time Okc attendees and then proceed to charge $15 once they get to the gym simply because they weren’t necessarily looking for a membership. Gold’s gives 3 free day passes. Secondly, I only had a benjamin on me and they couldn’t break the bill, instead of you know it’s my first time there anyway here’s a free day pass they turned me away. Poor staff and people skills. It shows the incompetence and closed minded the staff member is. The interest and change of mind I may have had, had the staff member simply said “It’s okay here’s a free day pass it’s your first time anyway I hope you enjoy and consider four star.” Any gym can turn people away but who is the most accommodating and hospitable is what I look for.

I like the availability of 24-hour access, the variety of areas to do a range of workouts and the child care center is a huge bonus for me. My One and only complaint is the chronic condition of the bathrooms. For women, there's not enough space to get ready before work and it's always dirty.

Candace in childcare makes this gym a gem! I'm not comfortable leaving my babies anywhere else! The girls here do so many fun activities with the kids. You can tell they genuinely love all the Littles.

Shame on the member and his wife (she yelled hate as well) and hope this location responds accordingly against hate and bigotry.
