In OKC for work from Cincinnati. Very impressed with this locally owned gym. Nice layout, clean, and great equipment. They have dumbbells over 120lbs, hammer strength and Atlantis equipment. Had a killer lift and the day pass was fantastic deal.

My experience with the North May location has been nothing but amazing. Megan specifically is a welcoming smile every time I come to workout. Really positive experience. The facility is excellent and all machines are in good condition. The bench and incline press machines are top-tier and allow you to isolate the chest nicely. Plates are plentiful so you’re never forced to hunt for weight. Only complaint was that there wasn’t a Roman chair or a place to do hyperextensions.

The second floor is nice for athletes and anyone who wants to work on their explosiveness. The turf was also a nice touch and makes sled pulls a dream.

Customer service was also seamless. Deacon gave me a nice tour and was with me from sign up to cancellation. The support staff was very helpful with any billing inquiries I had as well.

All in all, Four Star is a prime option for anyone looking for an OKC gym.

I have been a member of Four Star Fitness for about 6 years. I joined a Golds Gym when I first moved here and soon found out I was just another number. I found Four Star after some thorough research and fell in love with the atmosphere immediately. It's positive, the staff is amazing, the equipment is always well maintained and the owner Kevin KcBride has put so much time and dedication into his locations as well as expanding his locations in the state of Oklahoma.

I've been working out since I was 16 and am now 51, this is the best gym I've ever been a member of. Four Star for life.

Four Star Fitness is really a Five Star Facility! My family have been members for Seventeen years!! We've watched it grow from the start. You'll never find an owner that is so dedicated to his gyms! We're members at the North May facility and it has always been a friendly and comfortable place to strengthen body and mind. When you first walk in you see the smiling face of Megan and a friendly hello! She will help you with anything that you need and answer any questions you have! It's like a family environment!! If you don't have a trainer and need assistance, most of the trainers would be very happy to help with your question! It doesn't take long to feel like you are part of the gym! And the good news is in a few weeks the gym will be moving back across the street where the first gym originated! It will be a much larger gym with the best equipment in town! Evening child care is not reliable. They say 5pm—8pm and I always show up around 6 but no one is ever there!! Very frustrating taking your pre work and then walk in to no chid care. Updates about childcare on their socials would even be nice so people with children can plan accordingly.

My son and I joined and each of us went twice...Equipment was raggedy, the gym was dirty and they lock you into a contract that is impossible to get out of. We are now being harassed by a horrible debt collector. I had shoulder surgery shoulder shortly after I joined, and they still wouldn't let me out. . My son is in his early 20's, and just joined a fire department, where he has a gym he is able to work out in for free. They could care less... DO NOT JOIN! There are better gyms around town, that don't make it impossible to cancel membershi... Way to go after a young firefighter 4 Star!

My husband signed up with this gym and opted for the year long membership. He had no idea his job would change suddenly 4 months later, meaning he no longer worked in a town with this gym. They offered no buyout option because there was another location they said he could go to (in a town my husband never goes to and not near his current job, but apparently just a mile or two inside their radius to let someone out of a contract). They gladly took another $320 from us even though my husband never stepped through the door again. Then, after his year FINALLY ended (which they said is when his contract would finally terminate), they proceeded to auto draft payments for two more months and made my husband visit a location in person to finally shut it down. $400 down the drain is pretty hard to swallow.

I’ve had easier time cancelling my cable subscription. The gym is nice, but to cancel your membership, you have to go in person to a gym, fill out paperwork with an employee, take said paperwork, and certify mail it to a PO Box 30 days in advance. Their idea of a free first month is also just to make you technically have a 13 month lease so you pay it at the end anyway.

The May location isn’t bad, the downtown has great employees but definitely has/had leaks. I haven’t personally been to the rest.

This clean and well equipped gym is conveniently located for life in North OKC. Open all the time for members. The people who work out there are serious about body building and weight training. The facility is always clean. The receptionists are more than friendly. The machines are always up and running. It’s a great gym to be a member at. The owner, Kevin McBride is hands on. He’s extremely proud of his establishments and the pride he has at all of his locations most certainly show. Not only is it a great place to workout at, but the structure he has set up for his personal trainers are unlike any other gym. I’ve been a member since 2018 & I’ve trained with Kali for years. This gym allows her and many other personal trainer friends I have working at 4 star to make a real living as a personal trainer.

I will now go to the May location, it's closer, but all have great Trainers and the facilities are kept clean and well-maintained. I have several co-workers who are members here as well.

Hands down the most positive environment for anyone at any point on their personal fitness journey. All inclusive from beginners to professionals. Equipment is amazing, facility is always immaculate. Staff is incredibly friendly and the personal trainers are super knowledgeable. Not to mention it’s 24-7 and the price is very affordable!! Kevin is amazing, I’ve known him for years! Every time I go through OKC I try to stop by four star fitness. Best atmosphere, best gym, best vibes and by far the best facility with the best owner and staff.

Truly a great “small” gym. I’m also a member of vasa and I can tell you right now that 4 star has a better array of equipment that you’ll actually use, not busy so you actually can use the machines and the environment is very friendly and helpful. It’s like cheers the bar- everyone literally knows your name and is cheering you on. Highly recommend this gym!

It was fine until I had to cancel because of moving. Don’t ever plan on cancelling. There is basically a 3 step process to actually successfully cancelling your membership at this gym.

I have been a member at four star fitness for many many years. Johnny at the front desk has always treated me with the upmost respect and helped me out with any questions I may have had. I’ve seen him do walk-throughs with new potential members and they always seem to sign up with him. Come by and give them a shot.

Perfect gym for all levels looking to improve their fitness and activity level. Nice equipment, along with welcoming staff and personal coaches to help with any of your fitness goals. Bree helped me get signed up and gave a great breakdown of the gym through w walkthrough and explained everything in detailed order in terms of the contract agreement for sign up. I would recommend this gym to anyone.

Most people have given this Gym great reviews. These are the people who havent tried to cancel their memberships yet. Its a true money grab. Try and cancel your membership and watch how this Gym makes it hard for you while continuing to take your money non stop. Pay your balance off in full, submit your paperwork. sounds easy enough. However they find a way to continue taking money. its a long horrible adventure. I paid my balance in full and submitted my cancelation form. guess what. it wasnt canceled and they keep adding months due onto it. very misleading and unhonest. I understand reviews can leave an impact on companies. I am not out to hate on this gym. its friendly, clean and very convenient. This Cancelation process has overshadowed everything. Its not how I would like to be treated. Just passing it on to others so they can make informed decisions.

I would have gave 5 stars, but there are a few pros and cons
Pros: great gym setup, atmosphere, and the people who go there are decent people, rerach their weights, etc
Cons: the "personal trainers". Theyre rude, and there are 2 in particular that are just terrible. They dont rerach their weights, wipe down equipment, and they are under the impression that all the equipment is there for their sole use. Had a terrible experience with one today. Got an attitude and aggressive. The may location is the only one like this, im hoping management at the may location does something about it. If there was a complaint number id call it.

But all that being said, if you go when they arent there, amazing time at the gym.
