I have been at this location for a year and half and I cannot rave enough about the community, staff, and fun activities they have with tennis for adults and kids. I joined this club a few years ago as I was looking to alter my fitness routine due to a constant battle with Father Time. I was introduced to the Les Mills BodyPump program and instantly fell in love with it ENTIRELY because of the instructors at Genesis Riverside. They are all so caring and have no problem taking the time to show a new person how to move within the program. On top of that the Managment staff, Front Desk Staff, Tennis Pros, Cafe, Kids Club, Personal Training etc are all extremely pleasant and just a joy to be around. I've engaged in fitness activities in several other places, but Genesis Riverside is my favorite and I"m proud to call it my fitness home.

I joined this Gensis location just after the start of the year hoping to get in better physical condition. Everyone I dealt with were very pleasant and helpful, and I have found the other members to be friendly and welcoming. I wanted to work with an experienced trainer, and was introduced to Tom Burke, who has many years of experience helping people get in better shape. Tom will work you as hard as you want to work. He uses a combination of cardio and weight traning, and certain excercises using an inflatable ball and other items. I've worked with many trainers before, and Tom is by far the best. I do call him Atilla The Tom sometimes for how hard he works me, but his process has produced great results, so I'm happy. This location has other good trainers as well, but if you want to be pushed hard, ask for Atilla The Tom Burke!

This is the best gym I have ever been apart of. The people working out in the gym are always super friendly, as well as the front desk staff. It is hardly ever busy, and when it is you are still able to use the equipment without a wait. If you are new to the gym or trying to find somewhere else to workout at, this is the place to go. They have almost every piece of equipment in there and multiple of it. I have been coming here for 3-4 years now and have never thought about leaving.

While in town for my niece’s graduation, I decided to visit for tennis lessons. I had a great time this morning- 90 minute clinic on drills, and then an hour private lesson. The plus is that my coach, Hardija, is a recently graduated tennis player from the University of West Alabama. It was an excellent experience!

My first time visiting here was a bit nerve-racking, as I have had poor experiences at other similar facilities. Being someone who isn’t super athletically inclined I decided to check the gym out as I am starting to build a new routine. The first worker I approached, Desmond, Could tell I was anxious and immediately offered whatever help i needed. He was very kind and welcoming, and immediately made me feel like the top priority unlike any other workout center I’ve been to. I would recommend Genesis to anyone in the area, their customer service and employees are unmatched- and if you run into Desmond don’t be afraid to approach him, he’s such a sweetie!

The instructors and coaches are super helpful and encouraging but demand effort and excellence out of their students. My favorite staff member is Natalie, the manager. Great staff, good variety of commercial and freeweight equipment in gym. Could stand to have HVAC of gymnasium updated because it's an older facility, but the indoor tennis courts seem to be better insulated. Overall, it's not going to be a shiny impressive "state of the art" facility setup because it has been there for many years, but it's totally adequate as a workout and tennis facility. I prefer it over a packed new facility or hard core old school gym

First time here using the 7-day free trial. What I can say about this place it’s the afternoon right after and it’s not super crowded like normal gyms, which is a plus! The staff here are super helpful and kind! I definitely would recommend getting a membership here. The machines are great and easy to use. When Genesis bought RH91, I started going since it was closer to my house than the Sheridan location. Locker Rooms are very rundown, unclean, and outdated. After a month of going there, I was told it’s actually a “premier” club and I would have to pay an extra $5 every time I wanted to work out.. Won’t be going back

I have been taking my two daughters to what was previously known as, The Grand or RH91, for drills, private lessons and summer camps ever since they were young kids. We WERE members of this location until the pandemic hit. We haven’t been going anymore since they are grown now. Fast forward to the present, we are NO LONGER members of this club. The most recent time I have been to RH91 Genesis was to take my youngest to a private lesson this past June. We were charged for the private lesson, paying the non-member fee. This was fine up until LAST WEEK, I received a charge for a membership that I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR. I asked them to refund the payment and they said they would refund me the money “right away” and send me a confirmation email as a receipt. It has been a week now, and I have NOT received any email, call, or text from them. The good/efficient coaches have moved on to find a place that will suite them best, the overall quality of the club has diminished, and they are cheating the system by charging people who haven’t been members for a long time (aka me). I utterly feel so sorry for how DOWNHILL this club has gone.

Conclusion: Don’t come here unless you want to be charged for irrelevant things.

I started getting random charges from Genesis so I spoke to my bank. Had these charges canceled, I was then reached out to by RH 91 stating that my payment hadn’t gone through and that they merged with Genesis. I told them that I called my bank and told them to cancel these payments as I don’t have a membership at Genesis, and I’ve never been, I requested to cancel my membership as I haven’t been since September 2021 and had previously tried to cancel an older gentleman told me I was unable to at PH91, when they reach out to me about the failed payments I requested to cancel, they won’t let me cancel until I pay them even though I didn’t agree to any contact with Genesis and haven’t been to the said gym since 2021, and at that time was told that I was not allowed to cancel. Pathetic penny pinchers. Two years of a free membership I didn’t use, and was told I was unable to cancel wasn’t enough they need a couple more months lol.

Our daughter played a USTA-sponsored tournament here. She was not feeling well, and we had to pull her out of the match during the second set (once she pulled out her inhaler, it was game over). The opponent's parents became belligerent and started to verbally attack my wife and daughter, because they felt we were cheating them out of an easy win for their daughter (who won regardless). I had to step in and defend them, which resulted in some verbal back-and-forth between myself and the father. We had no prior interaction with them during the match. The referee that was there asked us to leave to not incur suspension points, to which we obliged and left right away. I was definitely upset that it was us that were asked to leave (and not the bully family), but more on that below.

We have called Tiffany Milner, who was listed as the tennis director, as soon as we left and spoke extensively about the incident, even urging her and her co-worker to pull up the video feed from the cameras that were located in the vicinity of the court. The incident happened on a Saturday, and they told us they'll have to do that on Monday. We called again Monday, asking if they did, to which they said they haven't had a chance yet. We left it at that, fully expecting to be vindicated by the footage.

Apparently, the whole family goes to this club, and exactly a month later we received an automated email from USTA advising us that our daughter received 5 suspension points for "Adult discipline" (Friday, 9/29). If you get 10 points in a 12-month period, that's an automatic suspension for 3 months. What's interesting is that the other family was scheduled to play in the same tournament as us on Friday, 9/29. I do not believe in coincidences.

We have tried calling Tiffany, but it looks like she is avoiding any contact with us at this point. Very disappointing, as the facility itself was very nice, and it was our second time playing there. We will be appealing this with USTA. This review is more of a cautionary tale for other tennis parents and players if you decide to play here. We are definitely never coming back here again.

Worst gym you can find in Tulsa!!

To start I’ve never even been here… I went back when it was RH91 over a year ago - however, somewhere in the transition deal, genesis thought they would charge me for a membership I’ve never had and it’s been over a month of dealing with new cards and trying to get refunded for a membership I’ve never signed up for. I've been a Genesis member for almost two years. I came here on the 4th to try it out since Genesis just bought this location. We were greeted by a rude, pretentious desk worker who asked if we were "premier" members, and we said we didn't know. She said she would check for us, and then charged me $5 without telling me. She said she couldn't refund it. The Genesis website states that a membership grants free access to ALL Oklahoma locations. Shame on Genesis for false advertising, and shame on the rude desk lady for profiling two teens who looked like they didn't belong there. The weight gym was also horrible quality, and I wouldn't recommend that anybody try to get a decent workout from this gym. I couldn't even put my backpack in a locker because they were too small.

Best tennis club for Youths in town as it houses the legendary Trent Tucker Tennis Academy, the coaching staff is passionate and committed and there are always tons of activities you can get involved with at the club.
