I have been working out at a different gym doing hard core group workouts for 3 years. Everytime I worked out it would take me a week to recover and I would be in so much pain after every workout. I haven’t been able to turn my neck in 3 years without horrible pain. I started back at Hotworx last week and have done a session sometimes 2 back to back everyday except Sunday. I can now turn my neck with no pain at all and my body isn’t painful after I workout. I already feel so much better and I’m so happy to be pain free for the first time in YEARS!!

I have been going here for a little over a year now and it’s great!
The staff is super friendly.

The few cons I have is that they can get pretty busy and you can’t book a class.
Then the starting fees are expensive, but it’s just the one time.
They do raffles and drawings all the time for discounts or even a free month!

They keep you engaged, it never gets boring.

I love HOTWORX! I have been going here for 2 weeks. When I tried my first free workout, I was hooked. I like the infrared saunas and the benefits I get from it. I can already tell a difference in how my clothes fit, sleep quality, and overall health. The studio is very clean and has all the essentials you would need. I always see the employees working so hard to keep the studio in top shape. All of the employees are so nice and welcoming! One of my favorite workouts they offer is STRETCH. I make sure I get a stretch session in each week. Even though I have been going for only 2 weeks, I can already feel the difference in my flexibility. I’m excited to see what progress I will make months down the road! I highly recommend this place!

LONG BUT WORTH THE READ!!

I absolutely love hotworx!!! I used their one free workout deal they offer - not thinking I’d like it and let’s just say I’ve been going for about 2 1/2 months now. I haven’t returned to my full-size gym since. Not to mention when I walk out from doing a 15 minute session I feel like I accomplished more in that 15 minutes then I do spending 2hrs in the gym. Their staff will always make you feel so welcomed and you’ve been going for years Especially Hannah!! I WILL SAY I have tried other Hotworx’s and the norman location definitely puts extra love into their gym. Making sure that you have everything you need if you forget something. They have a little essentials in the bathroom for men and women. They also have cold wet rags that you can use during or after your work out, other gyms don’t offer that . I absolutely love Hotworx and I recommend it to everyone!!!

I am a member and I just went to workout on a Saturday morning the most busiest time for a gym and they are having an event and members cannot workout. I’m off three days a week Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and only workout on those days. Now there is events on the weekends, the busiest time? This is very frustrating, I understand having events to advertise but do it during the slowest hours, maybe mid day or at night. Don’t do it in the morning when most people get up and go to the gym before starting their day. Your members should always come first! This was planned very poorly in my opinion.

Please know that the 5-star rating is not only for the amazing facility, but it is mostly for the AMAZING STAFF! I cannot rave enough about the staff members at this Hotworx location. Just to name a few...Hannah and Bri (maybe Brie?) have been the most helpful, kind, and motivating women I have ever met in my weightloss journey. I've lost 170 lbs so far and coming to this location keeps me motivated to losing more. Even after a bad day, I always look forward to going to Hotworx!

READ THE FINE PRINT. Be careful when signing a contract. They will trick you and say whatever you are wanting to get you to sign. Also beware because there’s a $99 cancellation fee! Unheard of! I’ll never go back and I would tell anyone else not to sign. I believed what the staff said and it turned out to be a very expensive lesson learned. Again, read everything carefully before signing (no matter how many pages).

Be sure to read your contract carefully and understand that they will keep charging you money long after you request a cancellation. I don't understand the need to have a 60-day cancellation!

I signed up with a trial package that was supposed to be only three months and then I was supposed to let them know if I wanted to continue - at least that's what I understood. I downloaded the app to access the facility which I could never to get to work. And the manual key entry was finicky. Time had gone by and I realized I was not going to go back so I called to cancel, only to be told it was a 60 day notice. Apparently I missed the bill date by one day which means my card has been charged again this month when I thought last month was the last charge. I should have cancelled my credit card it was being billed to. That's the only way to stop it.

The facility itself is fine - the idea of working out in a sauna is a good one. I wanted to like it but my body did not tolerate it. So I'm stuck paying for another month even though I cancelled two months ago...all because I called one day later.

I've joined many gyms in my life, and they're all a little bit shady (read the fine print!), but this one is THE WORST!!! They don't bother to tell you that your first month doesn't count toward the 90-day period before you're allowed to cancel. Then, when I took my typed cancellation letter to them IN PERSON, the gym manager was out of town. A few weeks later, I called to verify my cancellation later that month and was told I actually had two months left because my cancellation didn't get posted until the following week. Umm, no. I had to throw a fit and threaten legal action to get them to adhere to their own cancellation policy. Also, the workouts aren't especially challenging. While I love sauna workouts, there are better facilities here that offer them. HARD PASS on this chain.

Things were great at first but we were lied to about what kind of membership we had. It wasn't until after locations opened back up in the summer that I learned I did not have the "sweat anywhere" membership after we specifically asked if we'd have that kind of membership and were told yes.

I froze my account after that and then asked to suspend my membership when that was over. I was told it was taken care of. Fast forward- we were charged for three additional months AFTER the 3 month cancellation policy (I cancelled in August, had Aug/Sept/Oct but was also charged Nov/Dec/Jan). I called and they said my membership wasn't actually cancelled back in August. I asked for my money back for the extra three months. I was put in contact with the GM and she said we'd be reimbursed for Jan but not Nov/Dec because it wasn't their fault the membership wasn't cancelled. When I said it wasn't mine and I wanted it taken care of, the GM ignored my text. I have since asked to speak to her supervisor.

Regardless, they have no clue what they're doing and are run by a bunch of college girls who just want to work out for free. Don't waste your time or money.
