My daughter has been going to Julia's for 3 years, she absolutely loves it!! All the teachers are great and their yearly recitals are always something we look forward to. You don't have to be a "ballet is life" kind of person to go here, but also, you can be. There is a spot for everyone!

When I was 10, I started learning to dance here Julie was the one person who believed in me. I moved to Florida, but because of what I learned helped me so much. Great place for your children and even late learners.

Giving Julia's two stars because the instruction was fair, acceptable for casual dancers. Would be one star for the way the business has treated us. We have now been charged for three months in which our child was not to our knowledge registered for any classes. Unbeknownst to us, when we agreed to have our card on file to be charged monthly when our child had lessons, in Julia's mind this was us signing up for a "session" that went September through May and that required 30 days notice to cancel. We were never informed of this policy. We discovered our card was still being charged three months after we stopped coming. When we emailed and then followed up in person to ask for a refund, I think we were reasonable to ask for only 2 months to be returned, acknowledging that a 30 day cancellation policy was understandable (albeit a policy we were uninformed of). We were told that there would be no refunds period. They offered to give us two months of lessons credited, but our kid is done with dance. Out three months of expensive lessons over here and surprised that a small business working with families in the community finds this an acceptable way to treat them. Caveat emptor.

My daughter loves Julia's Academy and so do I. Yulia is an amazing teacher and human being, very knowledgable, disciplined, and kind. My daughter has made huge progress and is always looking forward to her ballet classes. The end-of-the-year show/recital is always lovely and fun. Looking forward to more adventures there. Keep up the good work, dancers!

My niece attended this dance studio and I just found out that the teacher put her in a corner for no reason - who happens to have brown skin. I went to this dance studio and observed my niece in the class of other 5 years and they all had exact same behavior which is all pretty well behaved. My niece didn't know some of the steps and when my sister talked to the teacher about it, she said she was doing fine.

I had reached out to this studio in September and had a fast response rate. I wanted to have my daughter start dance lessons. They told me they weren’t going to have the schedule out until January. I got an email with the list of classes, and wasn’t clear on which one I should be signing my daughter up for, I emailed them once....A week or so went by with no response so I thought I must’ve not sent the email. Sent another one asking. No response. Turns out both of my emails were sent off, I just was looking at the wrong mailbox. So it is now almost February and my daughter is not in dance classes because I can’t get a response out of this place. Not sure how everyone else has had such a pleasant experience, and not sure what dictates getting a response. I’m extremely disappointed, as I didn’t look at any other studios when I found this one thinking they were going to be the right one. I was a former assistant ballet instructor, and dancer, and thought there would be more curtesy here. When you mess with a kid and their dance, you mess with momma bear. Not coming here, and hopefully will be able to find something for my daughter this late in the year.

I love that classes are smaller, allowing focus on each student but still big enough so the students still feel part of a group. I couldn't imagine taking my daughter anyplace else. This is my first time ever doing ballet and the patience and knowledge of the dance instructors is just the best. Ms. Julia challenges me to improve and has even helped me regain much of my self confidence. The whole atmosphere is just fantastic. My oldest daughter started dancing here when she was 4 and has loved every minute of it! Now that her younger sister is old enough, they both attend and are learning so much. I see so much confidence coming from them. It's also a great way for them to be physically active and make new friends.

I also attend classes here for ballroom dancing. My class has a veeeeeery laid back atmosphere and there is lots of joking around as well as learning new dance steps. Instead of a class, it feels more like spending an evening dancing with friends.

The staff here are extremely friendly and professional. What I love about this place the most is the family atmosphere. The instructors treat their students like their own children.

Great family atmosphere. Great dance instruction with instructors that really care about your children. The office staff is willing to work with you. On a whole you can tell that Julia's is run by people who love to dance and hope that everyone else will benefit from it as well.
