Editing this down to one star. Customer service is awful. Which is not what I expect from a place like this. If you incorrectly charge someone $200 you should be willing to assist. When I originally called I was told Emily the aquatics manager would reach out about it. She never called and no email. When I called back I was told the GM was too busy and he'd call me after he gave a presentation. 8 hours later he never called me back. I call a 3rd time and after a grand total of 45 minutes on the phone about this, the GM told the woman I was speaking with at the front desk that she could issue a refund. Again he promised to call and to have the aquatics manager call and neither of them ever did. The woman I spoke with the final time(around 430pm on 11/17) was very rude. I'm sorry but there was zero acknowledgement or anything. She simply said "ok". When you spend nearly $500 a month to use a gym, you expect a higher level of service than planet fitness.
I have enjoyed this gym and the Kids Academy is truly amazing. The women who run it are beyond a blessing and it's truly the only reason we've stayed. But this morning has changed my opinion greatly. When we signed up we were advised our children would receive 4 complimentary swim lessons each. So we agreed to sign them up. At each lesson I confirmed we were using our complimentary lessons since it was outside the 30 day window because they had no openings at the time. I was told at each lesson yes this is complimentary. I then wake up to a $200 charge that at first no one seems to be able to tell me what it's for and finally they say it's a charge for swim lessons. When I ask to be refunded I'm told no one is around who can actually do that and I'll have to send an email. It is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable to tell someone that when they sign up they receive something complimentary and then you turn around without their consent or knowledge and charge them for those supposedly free services. And then to say sorry you'll have to email because no one is here to help. Be ware if you sign up and use your free services you may be charged. Unethical.

I recently got a back facial from Janae Bledsoe at Lifetime Fitness, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. She was super professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely comfortable the entire time. My skin feels so much smoother and refreshed and I could instantly tell she really cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. If you’re looking for quality skincare and someone who knows what they’re doing, I definitely recommend booking with her!

They treat swimmers like they’re trash.
Thanks to their absurd policy to have entire high school swim teams and swim schools using the pools without any type of centralized schedule, anyone showing up to swim laps has no reasonable guarantee to swim, or, they’re navigating adjacent lanes full of a dozen or more teenaged swimmers.
This isn’t anywhere near the high end experience they pretend to provide. There is less chaos and more open lanes at a public pool. It’s just pure greed, they fill everything overcapacity and don’t care about the customer experience.

My 5 stars are for my 1st impression on the front desk personnel.
My husband and I went to see if there is an indoor pool, and the price of a pass. We were greated by a young lady and a young man, with a contagious smile that made me to smile back to them.
After Sam gave us the information we need it, Emma gave us a tour, and answered to all our question.
It is not what they did, but the way they did theire job mealted my heart.
I hope the employer knows what a great emplyees he has.

What a wonderful workout & play gym, socializing spot, and a place to relax as well. Families of all ages are welcomed & accommodated. Hollie B. is my Trainer (another fam member works out with Rontez) and there are more trainers to match your workout style. I also enjoy Hollie B. and others as we join in & socialize during Craft Club where we each break out our own crafts while sharing with each other I'm a mature woman and LifeTime offers 'healthy aging' classes called "Aurora" and I enjoy Aurora Aqua % Aurora Dance, both led by Alicia J. And I go to Aurora Chair Yoga led by Donna H. I also like to socialize and discuss books & authors in Book Club led by Mariah T.
All the staff & management are super nice & friendly. It's just an all-around great place for myself and my family.
Hope to see you there soon!

've been going to Life Time on and off for years as a guest, but never felt fully convinced to commit to a membership—until now. Kassidy changed that for me and my entire family. Not only is she incredibly kind and welcoming, but she’s also extremely knowledgeable. She took the time to walk us through every single perk of the membership, many of which I had no idea existed even after years of visiting. I’m not usually someone who leaves reviews, but Kassidy truly deserves the recognition. Thanks to her, we’re proud new members.

Over the past three years, our family has been members at this location, and unfortunately, the quality has consistently declined, but this year has been especially disappointing. When we first joined, the staff was exceptional, the amenities were well maintained, and the facility felt premium. Fast forward to now, and the experience has changed drastically. The service has become noticeably subpar, the staff less engaged, and the overall cleanliness of the facility has taken a serious downturn. Despite ongoing rate increases, basic maintenance and upkeep appear to have been deprioritized. The facility itself is beginning to show its age. Minor repairs and updates are clearly being overlooked, and many areas feel neglected. The workout spaces are increasingly filled with cardio machines rather than functional strength equipment, which is more reminiscent of Planet Fitness than a premium gym. The existing machines are in need of deep cleaning and software updates to remain competitive and functional. Group fitness classes remain limited in both variety and scheduling. The options are either too sparse or held at inconvenient times, which is frustrating for families trying to coordinate routines. While the amenities have always been one of the highlights, even these are starting to slip. The hot tubs in the locker rooms are regularly unclean with slimy entry steps, tiles encrusted with hard water buildup, and unsanitary conditions like floating band-aids near the intakes. It’s unacceptable at this price point. The pools once a major draw for our family have taken a noticeable step back this year. Unlike in past seasons, this location has chosen not to heat the pools, making the water uncomfortably cold, particularly in the mornings. For a family oriented facility, this decision makes little sense and significantly reduces the usability of what was once a favorite feature. It’s discouraging to see a gym that’s less than a decade old decline so rapidly, especially when pricing has reached over $200 per month for a family of four. At this point, we’re seriously considering alternatives for the summer options like Hurricane Harbor, Pelican Bay, or even the Edmond YMCA, which offers a much more family-friendly aquatic experience, complete with slides, a lazy river, water features, and better affordability.
We’ve enjoyed our time here in the past, but if this trend continues, we’ll be taking our membership elsewhere.

This is our second year to sign our kids up for swim lessons with Jenna in the aquatics center and she is THE BEST! My 4 year old adores her and makes huge improvements every lesson and now my 1 (almost 2) year old is becoming a fish! She teaches in such a fun way while also pushing them to improve and get more comfortable in the water! I’ve recommended her to everyone and have yet to hear a parent who doesn’t find her as fantastic as we do! 🤍🤍

The yoga department at Lifetime OKC is absolutely amazing! The classes are not only well-structured but truly nourishing for the soul.
Tracy, the head of the department, is absolutely stellar. She and all the instructors (Maria, Shannon and Lindsay to name a few) create such a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, making every class a joy to attend. The facility is a relaxing experience. It is always spotless and the cool scented towels that are passed out at the end of class adds to wonderful experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a rejuvenating yoga practice!

We started going Lifetime earlier of this year and absolutely loves it. The fitness has everything to accommodate their clients. From workouts area, bikes, new and updated equipments are plenty for everyone. Yoga studios are #ONE in our list. As for me personally Lifetime Yoga is my favorite yoga studio I’ve ever been to. I love the variety of classes, the ambiance, it’s so clean, feel safe and TRACY is an incredible yoga instructor and Lead. I felt included in her classes right away and everyone was so friendly 10/10 highly recommend!!
Despite the fact many times I tried , I began trial at Lifetime yoga with TRACY in January just to simply help with stress, and have been in love with going ever since. I can truly say that my balance, stamina, mindfulness, vertigo and overall well-being have been positively impacted, plus I feel as though I am in the best shape of my life. TRACY does such an amazing job connecting with all of her participants. Additionally, her teaching style are all unique, yet amazing in the way she teach her practice. I also really enjoy her yoga workshops and her ability to motivate and uplift the people around her. I would recommend to join lifetime (it’s like a country club around here y’all) especially yoga with Tracy to anyone and everyone.

Other than the finalization of membership process, I love this place. The staff member did not respect my request when I shared that I previously used to work here and I didn’t desire to know more about the programs offered. She persisted to inform me, talking over me, even after the several requests I made that I would inquire if I had any questions. Borderline made me want to cancel my membership before it even started. I understand the protocols and training to inform members, but to dismiss and blatantly ignore a members request made me feel not heard or respected.

I was a member at Lifetime OKC for 2 years. I am disabled in a wheelchair. One day as I was leaving Lifetime a little girl opened the door for me. I was touched by her kindness. I gave the little girl a peck on the cheek. I did not realize what I did was a violation of policy. I have apologized but Lifetime terminated my membership. My advice is do not join Lifetime. You could get in trouble and not even know it. DO NOT JOIN LIFETIME

I had a membership for about 2 years and then I came in today with some of my friends hoping to get in with a guest pass. My membership had ended about 3 weeks ago. The ladies in the front made me wait about 30 minutes and proceeded to call me a liar and threaten me saying “don’t lie to us again” after I told them I had already filled out a form. Absolutely terrible experience and the staff were extremely disrespectful. This was the lifetime in Oklahoma on memorial. As they say this is more than a gym; it’s a country club!
Take your pick from a variety of workout routines, and change it up as often as you want!
Of course they have weights and cardio machines, and they also have pickleball, tennis, swimming, and fitness classes from top notch instructors!
Being a swimmer myself, I mostly hang out in the pool area to bust out some laps! Choose between heated and unheated lap pools indoors, or head outside to swim in the outdoor lap pool and enjoy the Beach Club vibes!
What I love most about this gym is the community. I have built some excellent relationships at Lifetime, more so than any other gym or fitness center. While what the club offers is phenomenal, it’s the people that make it really special!

This place has a lot going for it with machines , cleanliness, classes, and equipment. However, I don’t see the $150 plus value for a single person. They bill this place as Athletic Country Club.🤦♂️. As a disabled person, I pay for the pool, sauna and steam room. Closing it for cleaning before closing is a lazy way of business. If only there was another gym in OKC with all of the amenities… I would switch. Just need mature professional workers. People who care about the open times of amenities. I miss my locations in Arizona. They would let you go until closing or put a sign up saying this is closed so we could adjust our schedule. Been going to LYF for over 15 years. Smh And even almost a year later we are closing the steam at 11:30 so we don’t pay overtime? Club closes at Midnight. Clean after you get everyone out at 12. Don’t rush people out. Club hours are not respected.

This place sucks. Safe to even say it’s a bit of a scam. I’ve had a family membership since it opened. It’s all about optics. This club sounds and looks good on paper but it’s not. It was ok for the first year or two then it went down hill. There is zero value with this club. The class instructors aren’t the best. Always broken equipment. Rude and unhappy employees. The spa services suck and too expensive. Rules and hours constantly changing. Guest policy sucks. Food tastes like plastic. I’ve never even seen the lounge bar open. And everything is an additional cost and crazy expensive. $15.00 for a chicken sandwich that tastes like cardboard. With the new pricing, amenities and gyms at some of the local country clubs, it’s a far better value to join one of those than lifetime. Im ok with paying a premium if the service and amenities match the price but they don’t. For example, the massage services are the most expensive in the area but the quality of the massages has never been good. I haven’t talked to a single member in the last year that is happy with this club.

This gym is incredible. I could spend all day there. The front desk was always really quick and very friendly. Pickle ball is free and they have 8 courts! The times I went with a girl or guy working front were both so helpful and kind. Getting a paddle is no issue and waiting for someone to play with wasn’t either. They also have 4 outside tennis courts and 4 inside!!! So many free classes to choose from- intensity, yoga, Pilates, others, each in gigantic studio rooms they had available to escape the gym- Tho they also had classes going on in the gym areas too. Not sure what they were but the coaches seemed energetic. The inside pools are huge. I loved the saunas and jacuzzi in women’s locker room. The cafe employees were really nice and helped me pick out a great protein shake. I liked the large spa and options offered- and that they place on a screen near the hall walking towards courts and on a board outside the spa door- available slots for different services that day or the next day (makes it easier than hopping online and trying to figure that out)
There are 2 basketball courts and they were never full
The gym floor has boxing bags and tons of equipment options. I never had issues waiting for anything
There is no shortage of towels anywhere, for anyone to use
They have a nice scale and ways to wrap any wet clothes in bathroom with female amenities like razors and such all provided.
Everything is clean. Super clean!
It was never over crowded. Maybe it’s too big of a place to ever feel crowded.
I didn’t explore the children’s area or chiropractic office
I also didn’t go to the water park for the extra fee but I imagine in summer it’s really nice to have.
It is such a gigantic gym. You could spend half a day here and not utilize half the stuff they offer. I loved it and the staff. Great job doing what y’all are doing there and thanks for having me! I’ll be back anytime I visit OKC.

I recently visited the Lifetime Fitness location at 2563 W Memorial Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73134, and I must say that my experience was quite disappointing.
Upon arriving at the gym, we were greeted by a very rude front desk girl. She informed us that my guest was not allowed to enter the facility because of their policy, which only allows guests once every 60 days. This policy is incredibly strict and not at all guest-friendly, especially when compared to other gyms like LA Fitness, which allows a guest every day and costs just $40 a month.
We were really looking forward to getting a good workout in, and we had driven 20 minutes just to be turned away. Despite our disappointment and request to work out just for that day, the staff wouldn't even let us come in. This whole interaction really soured our experience at Lifetime Fitness.
On the positive side, the gym itself is quite nice on the inside. It has a wide range of amenities and equipment that cater to various fitness needs. However, the inability to bring a guest and the unwelcoming interaction with the staff made it difficult for me to fully appreciate these positives.
Overall, I would not recommend Lifetime Fitness in Oklahoma City to anyone who values being able to bring a guest with them to the gym or who expects a warm and welcoming environment.

I have had this membership for some time now and finally decided to cancel it due to the amount of people on the fitness floor and the rude staff. I gave it 2 stars because the gym is clean and the pool, locker rooms, and yoga is nice. The front desk staff is the worst I have seen at a gym, no greeting, no good bye, no eye contact, no smiling. When you have to ask them questions you can see eye rolls and it's almost like they are bothered to do any part of their job outside of scanning your membership card. When I went in to cancel, there was no "I'm so sorry to hear that, why are you cancelling", no attempt to retain a member, no eye contact, super rude, and I am so happy I don't have to go back!

My family was at this facility for Junior Team Tennis (Oct 2023). We played on the outdoor courts, which we expected, but what we didn't expect was that we had to walk through a pickleball tournament on the indoor courts to get to the outdoor courts, and once we were outside, we were locked outside. No access to the building or restroom facilities. We had to threaten to set off all their door alarms just to get someone to unlock the doors. This facility is beyond unorganized. Since becoming a mother I was looking forward to the child services they offer, however it is nearly impossible to get a slot for an infant, once your child becomes a toddler and you don’t need a reservation anymore, they will leave your child in a dirty diaper and most recently I had a toy thrown in my face at the pool because children can be in the swimming pool unsupervised by their parents and the lifeguards will do nothing!

The child care area does virtually zero sanitation and our child was constantly getting sick. Parents drop off sick babies and the staff allows the babies to share the chew toys without any cleaning between uses.
So IF you can get in your baby will get sick, and in the few workout times between illness you then have to fight the crowds to get any equipment to work out on.
Bottom line is gym is way overcrowded with too few infant slots and no sanitation at all.
A gym this nice should be better than this.

They have the best hot yoga! Let me tell you about it.
In the summer, the room gets really hot, I love it! In the winter -- not so hot... more like warm-yoga, haha. (I think they should put some heaters in the room in winter to get it really-really hot.)
Otherwise, the instructor is suburb. She creates a really complex flow every 2 weeks. So, if you're going regularly, you'll have learned a really sophisticated flow by the end of 2 weeks. After doing that for a while, you can really start to get into it, find that you're becoming stronger & more flexible, and in my opinion, the class gets EVEN MORE FUN from there. I love seeing how my practice is evolving over time. Plus, my body feels INCREDIBLE after class.
I highly recommend 👍

Don’t book anything at the spa. I bought a bunch of gift cards and cannot get an appointment. I’ve booked multiple appointments for haircuts and facials over 3 weeks before each appointment, only to have them rescheduled multiple times over and now cancelled. I’ll end up giving my gift cards.away, because at this point, I’m too disgusted to call them anymore.

Positive, passionate, professional, aspirational, and inviting.
I was hesitant to join because of the cost. After persistent follow up from their sales dept, I agreed to try it out. I soon made it part of my daily life and never looked back.
The only service I haven't used is child care but my friends use it often and somedays LIVE for that time.
Everything is top-class, no joke. Everything. Walk in, greeted with a smile.
Locker room, like a spa.
The spa is incredible.
Tennis, best facility in the state.
Yoga, incredible everyday.
Pilates? Soon to be the only Master Pilates instructor in Oklahoma.
Group training, Olympic lifting, Spin, Pilates, BBall, three pools, saunas, cafes... it's all top tier.
The best part is the people. So if you want to come, remember... Positive vibes only.

I’ve been to many lifetime fitness’s and am use to pristine cleanliness yet was a bit disappointed as there was trash and dust on the floor. I saw an older woman who was obviously in janitorial who was wondering around talking to guests and literally walked by the trash on the floor and continued to chit chat with all the guests, I didn’t know you get paid to talk to the guest and on your phone and neglect your duties. Front desk staff was pleasant and I saw one trainer pick up the trash that had been walked by multiple times by the other employees that obviously are in janitorial

Horrible customer service.
Tried 3-4X on the phone to cancel my membership in November due to getting recalled by the United States marine corps, followed up by sending and email and filling out a form just to be charged for a continuous 4 months, then finally they cancel my membership OVER THE PHONE! The management acts super entitled and like they are in the upper echelon class that they typically serve, a to good attitude, incredibly rude and almost disgustingly entitled.
STAY AWAY FROM LIFETIME, on and off was a member with them nearly 2 years between OKC and Tulsa and customer service was a continues issue at both locations.

I recently joined Lifetime Fitness but canceled within a week. Overall, it was a decent experience but there were a few issues that ultimately made me decide to go with a different gym.
Good things: Keith at the front desk was a standout employee who was super helpful and went above and beyond to help me cancel my membership and even found my daughter's lost stuffed animal in the kidcare area. My daughters swim instructor was excellent! I’m bummed she won’t be continuing lessons with her.
Some of the staff members were great, especially Brandon, the trainer with Alpha, who taught me some new lifting techniques and Candace, who led an amazing SHRED class with lots of energy.
The facilities were also really nice and had a lot of equipment to choose from. However, I did notice that the gym seemed more focused on families and classes rather than people who prefer to just lift weights. During the Alpha class, for example, it seemed like the rack was reserved for the class, which could be challenging for people wanting to lift.
Ultimately a few things led me to go with another option. First, the family locker room made me feel uncomfortable. I saw multiple men without children walking through the area while I was showering and dressing myself and my two small children. It seems that we’re using it to cut through the pool or men’s locker room to the adjacent hallway as they didn’t actually use the area. I think the area should be limited to adults with children, not single adults.
Secondly, I was disappointed with the experience with Kid Academy. I joined mainly for what seemed like great kid programming, but both times I signed up my daughter for classes, she didn't end up going and was upset about missing. I don't know if it was a communication issue between my daughter and the staff or if there was a bigger problem, but what was most concerning was that no one seemed to know what happened despite me asking multiple staff members why this had happened a second time and after being assured at drop off that they’d get her to gymnastics. It concerns me that if the staff can’t even tell me why my daughter wasn’t taken to a class she was signed up for and that they assured me they’d get her to.
Overall, Lifetime Fitness has some great things going for it, but there were a few issues that prevented me from giving it a higher rating.

Been going to gyms more than 20 years of my life. I like this place because it's clean, that's my main criteria! I always see staff cleaning. I appreciate them more than anyone else there!
Weird review here about the men's locker room is bigger than women's. They have swapped locker rooms several times due to maintenance so I've seen both. Women's is definitely bigger and smells better. The men's has a smell lol
Also another review here about no bathroom upstairs lol. Ummm.... actually I prefer the bathrooms upstairs than downstairs. It's less crowded and cleaner usually.

I enjoyed the gym and I enjoyed aquatics and even enjoyed having my kids go to the kids academy. I felt like everyone was friendly including front desk :)
But my experience towards the end of my membership is why I’m giving 2 stars. If I didn’t have the experience I did canceling my membership my experience would be 3.5-4 stars. And I had every intention on rejoining when my circumstances are better but I decided I’m not returning. I’ll go to a different gym that doesn’t have complicated charging systems and better communication and kinder/understanding /patient front desk. Also, not enough machine weights. When I go I have to wait around for a particular machine weight. Also, for the price they should have a nice water bottle refilling station/ fountain. Instead I can only find one water fountain upstairs. And there’s no bathrooms upstairs. I have to go down stairs if I need to use the bathroom in the middle of my workout.
Unfortunately due to circumstances I have to cancel my membership. I canceled Dec 13. And I gave my 30 days. So I paid a prorated fee until Jan 13. I thought I was done with the charges.
Today I was charged $140 on top of the prorated fee. I was confused so I called and spoke with a young woman from front desk. She was nice at first. But towards the end of our conversation she had an attitude as I was trying to understand the 2 charges. She was very disrespectful and was coming across very defensive and argumentative. And the thing is that I was not. She must of had bad experiences with people canceling their memberships and being prorated.. I was asking her questions to understand what happened and see what the 2 separate charges was for since I gave my notice 30 days ago. I had no issues being prorated. I was confused since I had 2 charges. She transferred me to aquatics ( which was fine since I needed to speak with them) but how she spoke with me towards the end of our conversation was as very rude and disrespectful. I have worked costumer service before and I’ll tell you I have had some rude costumers but I was not rude. I was simply trying to understand the charges and how to get some of the charges refunded. But instead she started talking to me like I was a child and saying stuff like “well that’s what you said” “if what you said is true then” “that’s what you said wasn’t it”.
Turns out the $140 charge was due to aquatics never canceling my kids swim lessons. I’m annoyed that I called aquatics in November and spoke to someone to cancel. I even left messages! So I’m not sure why it was never canceled. Even though I did call to cancel my kids swim lessons in November I’m confused why i need to call aquatics to cancel swim lessons when I canceled my gym membership. Does that mean my kids can go to swim lessons without being a lifetime member? I spoke with someone today ( she was very nice and easy to talk to) and she said her manager isn’t in. So it can’t be refunded today. And I’m still not positive if my kids lessons are canceled yet! She explained voicemails aren’t checked often because most don’t know the voicemail code and she will send a message to her manager to call me tomorrow. I will update this review tomorrow ( if I get a call or refund)

I don’t really understand why they have a basketball court on the second floor… really? It makes the next door yoga room floor all vibrating and specially during a yoga session bouncing balls next door breaks the tranquility for everyone.

The amenities at this gym are phenomenal. Lots of classes, yoga, pilaties, cycling...etc. they have a hot tub in the locker rooms, by the indoor and outdoor pool, steam room, and sauna. Towels, shampoo, body wash, and so on are provided. I have only attended one yoga class here so far. I been to many before. My experience here was unlike any other yoga place I have been to. I have never ever been frustrated in a yoga class before til here. Music is so loud like you are at a club or bar. Teacher was not cueing or watching students closely to ensure safety with certain poses. Everyone just doing something random. You are told the sequence only once, but you can not hear what it was. It's pretty frustrating.

You'll get called hostile for asking if you need to go up there to show proof of the conversations you've had with staff. If they tell you they'll email you the directions to cancel they are lying. I love coming here with my son. If you have children, this is the spot. They offer parent nights out, fun activities for families, school holiday camps, summer camp, and several programs for the kids. During summer camp, I had a lot changes with my schedule and Hailey was on top of it making sure we got what we needed. She’s the best. They also serve alcohol and it always smells clean.

You would think that a gym profiting so much money and boasting about it's "warrior" program would offer even the smallest of discounts for military especially 100% disabled combat vets, the real warriors. Gyms are for achieving and maintaining physical and mental fitness, integrating with your community and bringing people together to find success is a top quality that many gyms in the city offer. This place is all about the profit and not about the person

Literal hairs hanging from the amenity rack with stains that look like they’ve been there for WEEKS. Even the drains have caused the showers to be shut down numerous times due to NOT being cleaned properly.
I happen to know an employee so I thought I’d share the backup built in the drains at Okc Lifetime. Facility management has gone so downhill the last 6 Months. Also have seen LIVE worms recently just haven’t gotten to taking images. Showers are suppose to be the clean part of your visit… not the dirtiest.
