Came here for a drop in class to see if my 4yo would enjoy it. There was probably 5 or six different classes going on at the same time and it felt like the equipment was stacked so closely. This might be a great place for kids already established on a team or previous gymnastics experience but for younger kids just starting it was very distracting and confusing. Also they were yelling and speaking very aggressively to kids that were 4/5yrs old. With the layout being so confusing and my child never having been there it was hard to understand what he needed to do and where to go and he was reluctant to want to stay once hearing how the coaches were speaking to the kids, he feared that aggression would be coming his way and he wanted nothing to do with it. They're 4 year old kids trying to learn and have fun, but we're treated like they were training for the Olympics. So, like i said maybe better for more experienced kiddos, but we'd never go back.

Many of the reviews on here were given by those at the gym. They were all given credit to give good reviews. This is not a healthy gym to attend. There are multiple times my child was bullied. It was never taken care of or addressed. The gym tried to turn things around on my child. My child was also hit by another child. We did report to police. There is so much we have went through and had put in quite a bit of money. I have witnessed the coach/owner berate and belittle gymnasts. I finally had to walk away when another coach screamed and yelled in my daughter's face. There is so much that has happened. I do not recommend this gym at all.

We have a 3 year old and a 7 year old enrolled in beginner classes and they love attending. The three year old's class has a young instructor, however she is very patient with them and redirects them to focus on the skills they are working on. The 7 year old's class also has young instructors but there are two instructor's in the class that are working with them and making sure their form is correct. We are so excited to see their progress and evolve their professional skills.

2026 will be my daughter's 11th year to compete in gymnastics at Oklahoma City Gymnastics! I had my daughter enrolled into the little stars. We really loved Ms. Shelly, she was really good with my daughter. After a few times we kept getting teenagers and Ms. Shelly never came back. Not worth your money. I feel like the teenagers just let them free play and bounce every time we went. One of them was always on her phone and was evening snapping pics of the little kids. I'm really upset because my daughter loved to come here and it's not worth bringing her back if all they do is play and jump. I can do that free at home.

My family has loved this gym since enrolling my granddaughter when she was 5yrs old. She is now about to be 8yrs old coming this August and is now a lvl 6 USAG gymnasts with dreams of going to the Olympics. So let me just say that none of this would be remotely possible if it wasn't for OKLAHOMA CITY GYMNASTICS!!! We signed up for the free trial for our 2 year old and decided it wasn't for us. The coach was just a teen who was sweet but had no idea how to manage a class of toddlers.

However, they still drafted $228 out of our account a month later. I have gotten the run around from all their staff including the owner and we still haven't gotten our refund (which they said we would get) and it's been almost 2 weeks. Extremely unprofessional.

edit to add: the owner called me on her personal number about my bad review to let me know this isn't her fault. That it's the systems fault and she's not trying to keep my money. I supposedly will be written a check tomorrow. I told her I would take the post down after I get my money and she informed me that I'll have to do that in front of her. absolutely not.

It is a professional gymnasium but they do not have enough professional coaches since they use the same students to serve as coaches and they are not professional enough as they should be. We were there for 2 years and there was very little progress. The real coaches are seen to be excellent, but there is a lack of real coaches since they are paying for a professional coach. The girls who act as coaches do not even give up their phone number, greater professionalism is required.

I enrolled my child in the mom and tot class they offer. I was hoping it would be an enjoyable experience, but it was far from it. I found it to be very disorganized and not age appropriate. The gym was unbearably hot, which made it difficult for the kiddos to listen and participate even the slightest bit. While the coach is talented and very personable, she does not appear to have adequate training to teach a class of this age. Toddlers take a great amount of effort and creativity to keep them engaged, and the coach wasn’t able to offer that. I was disappointed in that we paid for all the sessions up front, but only ended up participating in a few sessions due to being so dissatisfied. I wish I could recommend this gym, but if you’re looking for a fun learning experience for you and your toddler, this may not be the gym for you.

My daughter who is 3 years old just began in Little Stars about 2 weeks ago. She loves it as do I. I like the fact that her teacher is very hands on. They are very helpful in regards to rescheduling. Inside the gymnasium it was really hot, they had fans going but still hot. Parents are not allowed in with the athletes by they can observe from the outside.
For the parent and tot class one parent can go in with parent only. Otherwise you can observe from behind a glass.
There is a fee for registration, $40 and another $40 for uniforms. The class itself includes 11 sessions for $175. They do offer 1 free class so you can see how it is.
That's my recommendation, take the one free class to see if even your kid is going to like it and so you can take a look at the facility as well.
One of the lead people inside the gymnasium seem to enjoy teaching the kids and the other one did not, she didn't have great communication with the kids. She just pulled or carried the kid where they needed them.
Overall my kids enjoyed it but they were real hot inside and the place for parents is real small. The entrance is super crowded with things and trophies. Water is not provided. They have 2 vending machines with water and snacks that only take cash.

This gym is amazing and I definitely recommend anyone to come here. They have classes from age 1 to adults, and levels 1 to ten, as well as lots of recreational classes. They offer cheer, boys and girls gymnastics, tumbling/trampoline and a OKC ninja worrior course, as well as open gym on some days. We have a homeschool group that practices more hours. The coaches and staff are just amazing. The owner and some of the staff are also bilingual. We have at least 10 team coaches and many recreational coaches. I have been coached by the owner since I was 7, (I am 13) and I have been at OKCG for 5 and a half years. The coaches are very understanding and patient with you and take pain seriously. One of our gymnasts is one of the top 5 in the country for level 9, and one of them just made elite. They understand fear, mental blocks, and bad days. They will meet with you, go to Psychology appointments, ect. to understand everything that is going on and to learn about how to help you on bad days. So amazing and helpful. We also do many fun activities as a family. In the summer we go to the movies, Frontier City, White Water, The Zoo, The science museum, and other places on the weekends. We do fundraising for the tuition, or to pay for Regionals, such as Sonic carhoping, selling bracelets, popcorn, and pasta. You will progress very quickly here at OKCG!!!!!

The coaches here are amazing! They really care about the kids. My sons have done recreational and competitive gymnastics here. They also do Power tumbling, trampoline, cheer-leading and they even have a ninja course. Several of their coaches are bilingual as well. A Gym is just a building with stuff inside. It's not until you add amazing and dedicated coaches that it becomes a great place for kids to train and learn new skills. I wouldn't take my worst enemy here. This place is awful. I'm really surprised they are still open with how many kids they lose every year. I guess it helps if you can rip off parents and overcharge them to keep your gym open. Not organized at all. Parents pay all this money upfront in the summertime and then don't even get our uniforms until the 3rd competition, which was in December. Also we did not get our warms ups until March just in time for the last competition. Seriously go somewhere else don't waste anytime here like I did. You can thank me later!

My oldest has been cheering for them for over 4 years and my youngest for over 1 year. Both girls love it! We also have 2 boys who recently joined the new MMA class they offer on Thursdays. Matrix offers a wide variety of classes so there is something for the entire family.

My 4, 5 and 9 year old girls just started recreational gymnastics about 6 weeks ago and they absolutely LOVE it! They are great about keeping parents up to date about whats going on and upcoming events (clinics and "lock-ins"). They work with you on classes and the coaches are great! We will be signing up for many more sessions!

This gym is absolutely wonderful! The coaches and staff and amazing and make you feel so at home. The gym is amazing and the kids learn so much! I would never dream of taking my kids anywhere else. They have become amazing gymnastics thanks to Matrix Gymnastics and Cheer!

Pros:
Close to Mustang.
Easy to get all my children in classes at the same time.
It is a little cheaper for rec classes compared to other big name gyms in the OKC Metro.

Cons:
Not clean. The gym and the office area are always a mess.
Most of the coaches are still in high school. (Children teaching children...)
In the summer it was HOT and in the winter it was COLD.
Half the time I couldn t see my children because of the lay out of the gym/parents area.
There was some drama/gossip/personal stuff always going on with the owner and it was seeming to play out at the gym weekly.
