Your employee Michelle is very condescending and rude regarding your media practices. I'd like to ask you to stop putting your advertisements on my car, especially when this paper gets wet.
I called to voice my concern and was met with snarky answers and limited information.

#1. Get it in writing.
I took the word of Orange Theory staff as gospel, and they were not true to their word. The fault is mine, I’m a fast learner.
#2. Studio management and ownership is subpar.
Prepare to be treated as a transaction. I expected different. The fault is mine, I’m a fast learner. Attempts to resolve my dispute with newest studio manager(Michelle) and owner(Mitchell) were in vain. My frustration was passed over and the presented solution was to pay more.
#3. Coach Ryan & Coach Nikki are awesome, this doesn’t reflect upon their excellence in coaching. In my opinion, ownership/management owes the coaches big time. Kings Pointe Village never had to close, but it’s now obvious the decisions that brought down a great studio.
#4. Consider Midtown Tulsa location on 15th St as an alternative. Different ownership, much better at customer care.

Some caveats up front:
-I’ve attended only 4 classes here while in town for holidays
-I wear earplugs to every Orangetheory class, as I’m more sensitive to noise than the average bear.
-I’ve attended classes in 7 different states
Unfortunately I don’t recommend this studio for two main reasons:
-the coaches, despite having a mic, still shout out instructions. It’s really unpleasant
-there are not enough free weights to handle a full class
The shouting is just really jarring, and you sort of need to white knuckle through knowing you’re still getting a great workout. I know it’s part of the job to be inspiring and to empower the class, but this is just notably different from any other studio I’ve attended. It’s well intentioned but frankly detrimental.
The weights issue: this is not ok. It’s not a brand new gym, yet they only have one supplemental rack of weights for those who need to go heavier. All the relevant dumbbells were quickly claimed, leaving my wife and I with lower weights than we’d have preferred. Sure, we’re in solid shape…but we’re not bodybuilders. The kind of weight amounts we need are standard at every other gym I’ve visited. Space in every Orangetheory is used with intentionality, so I know there’s not a ton of spare room…but the weights are essential to the workout.
A couple of positives:
-there does seem to be a strong community at this gym, and good rapport with the coaches
-Mackenzie was confident enough to politely correct my form knowing full well I’m not a local member: she’s also positive which I respect.

Scammers… They were very nice when my wife was trying to enroll for membership however they didn’t provide accurate information about cancellation. When she requested cancellation in January, they said that they require one month notice which is appropriate however, when we called in February for cancellation, they said that they cannot cancel the membership without paperwork completed one month before!! Which they didn’t tell us in January. We requested paperwork to be sent to home and we never got it. We just realized later that they keep on billing my credit card without informing us.

OTF, to me, isn’t just a “gym”, it’s a community. The business model is obvious to see, the members come first. My OTF, South Tulsa, is like a family. I truly enjoy seeing the staff, the “old” members and the new members. We recently had a member hit 1000 classes. The staff went all out (pun intended) to make this a special occasion with balloons, treats, selfies with the member, etc.
Go to a gym to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Stay at a gym that makes you feel like family. OTF!!!!

I really enjoy that I don't have to think when I come here to workout, I just show up and do whatever the coaches tell me to do. This takes away from the stress of going to the gym. I also get a much better work out in with the coaches than I would just working out on my own. They push me much harder than I push myself. The environment is so positive, and all staff members are always very helpful. I love that we use heart monitors to track our progress, it makes working out feel more like a game, trying to get as many points as possible!

I didn’t like my experience at Orangetheory at all. After I signed up for the membership, my schedule picked up quite a bit with work, including out-of-town travel, and I couldn’t find time for the classes. In order to cancel, you have to go there in person, or submit your cancellation via certified mail. I chose to do it in person after a couple of weeks passed, and they made it super uncomfortable. Then I found out that they are still going to charge me another month, due to their cancellation policy. It sucks that they make people pay even though you already cancelled and can’t go. Read the contract thoroughly, and don’t be fooled. I won’t be back, and I will advise anyone against it.

I’ve been a member since March of 2020. Love the program and the South Tulsa location. The staff and coaches are extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming. There is a healthy balance of motivation and encouragement during each class. If you’re intimidated by walking into a gym, staring at machines, and wondering “Now what?” you will not feel that way here. Coaches walk everyone through every step of the way; Zero guess work - Only results! Regardless of how someone might rate their current, personal level of physical fitness, I believe they would benefit from these classes. Give it a try!

Peak time workouts (5AM) waitlisted 7 deep daily.
Visiting other studios while traveling requires premium up charge.
Cancellation policy a joke in modern times. They act like the pony express has to ride the request to New York.
Requires more than 30 days notice. Came in the the day it pulled from my account and they said you will Have one additional $107.43 payment.
Lesson learned takes 2 months to cancel / no prorate mine took 59 days to cancel something They couldn’t fulfill their end of the deal.
Highly recommend a different franchise or lifetime fitness.

Loved working out here, but when I needed to cancel my membership, it is extremely difficult. We gave 30 days notice that we needed to cancel. A few days before the next billing date, we called in to make sure that we would not be charged again. The person there said the manager, Ashley, would call us back. She never did. Then today, our credit card was billed for yet another month. Called up and talked to Ashley and asked her to refund the charge and she was extremely rude and would not so we told her that we would proceed with a credit card charge back so that is what we are now doing. A good manager would have been able to resolve this issue very easily without having to escalate it to require us to do a credit card charge back. Not a great way to run a business!

I love the classes! I get a great workout and love Alex and Wyatt’s classes so far, but i am annoyed at the way i have had multiple issues with money coming out of my account when it’s not suppose to. If you sign up for a promotion you get the 2nd month free you expect to get exactly that then they say well if i give you your money back it will take 6 days. I understand this but i asked someone a week and a half ago to check and make sure that December was free and she said yes you are good, then when i called today angry she said she could ALSO see on my account where it said December fees were waived But no one can explain why i was charged!!

Orangetheory has been a wonderful place to workout. Although it is pricier than a normal gym it is nice to have a regimented workout that follows certain guidelines in order to get the most out of the workouts. Their trainers are attentive and aren't afraid to push you if you need it. Overall a great experience. Also, just to clear this pompous air with Christophe Jamet there is in fact a dress code on the client agreement form under the heading Dress Code and is as follows "Orangetheory® Fitness wants you to come to class fully prepared for strenuous activity: enclosed running shoes, athletic shorts/pants, ATHLETIC T-SHIRT, towel and water bottle. We reserve the right to refuse you entrance into the studio if you are not properly attired." So dont let the panties get in such a bunch. Your wife's either.

If you're a female who wears functional fitness clothing and doesn't want to be told to clothe themselves as if you were in some Handmaid's Tale fever dream, I would avoid this place.
My wife and I came in to workout while visiting in-laws. My wife was wearing a super basic Lululemon sports bra, loose tank top/tshirt and full length workout tights. with 5 minutes left in the workout, my wife takes off the loose tank top as she's working up a sweat. Apparently the trainer took issue with a woman wearing completely normal, functional exercise gear and she had the manager come over to my wife (during the workout, with 5 minutes left to go) and told her to put her shirt back on. It was unnecessary, embarrassing, and pathetic. My wife was understandably annoyed over what had happened, and instead of owning up to it, the trainer (who had complained about it) tried to commiserate and say it's orange theory "policy" (It's not). The owner of the franchise later called my wife and tried to mansplain to her why she needed to cover up. We've reached out to their corporate office and haven't heard anything, which is honestly a little shocking. Women have enough BS to deal with in the fitness community- it's really not a good look for OrangeTheory to allow this kind of behavior to go on.
Also, my heart rate monitor wasn't working for half the class. No thanks.
