My review USED to be five stars, until recently. My membership is cancelled specifically due to negative and unprofessional conduct by the newer manager. This man doesn't protect employees from harassment that I, as a member, witnessed. He also spoke derogatorily about women employees audibly to other employees and members. He was encouraging very disgraceful talk about a specific female emplyee, almost like it was his job to reenact a high school bully session. I could tell the employees present were uncomfortable but he is their boss, so they engaged.

As a judgement free zone, it is not female friendly.....but he is overly friendly towards the VERY YOUNG female staff.

I recently had a frustrating experience at the gym that I feel compelled to share. I overheard two coworkers discussing new rules about phone usage, as one person had been written up for it. However, when I visited the gym today, the manager was working and, after telling me the tanning bed was ready, I went in to use it. Unfortunately, the bed wouldn't turn on.

Since I couldn't directly call the gym, I got dressed and went out to find the manager to ask her to turn it on. To my surprise, I found her scrolling on her phone! When I expressed my frustration, she claimed she was using a manager's app, which I found hard to believe. It seems contradictory that staff are reprimanded for phone use while the manager is on hers.

To make matters worse, I’ve noticed that when she isn’t on her phone, she’s outside smoking a cigarette. This lack of professionalism is disappointing, especially as a paying customer. If this is the norm in Oklahoma, it certainly doesn't reflect well on this gym. I hope management takes these concerns seriously to improve the experience for everyone.

I’ve been a member since this Planet Fitness opened. It is GREAT. Staff has been consistently super (all of them), floor is meticulously maintained, equipment was all new when it opened and still maintained very well, space is very generous and even this year with the pandemic, staff has continued to do a great job of keeping the place clean, safe and running. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - I look forward to each of my visits.

I went to cancel my membership today that I did not open and have never used today was my first time entering the building the manger Michael Viles said I have to pay $58 to cancel it even after they already charged me $60 and I have never been to the planet fitness before. I love going on the weekends! Misty is by far my favorite employee at this gym, she's bubbly, funny, and always willing to meet any needs that I have! She even supported my daughter for a softball fundraiser out of the goodness of her heart ❤️

Absolutely love the overall vibe of Bartlesville Planet Fitness. Always feels like a great place to get a good workout, judgement free. There haven’t been any glaring, gate keeping, gym brow that I’ve seen in my time there and everyone tends to keep to themselves. There is a good demographic spread between men, women, and children of all age groups. If you are looking for a good gym to call your home, Planet Fitness is honestly your choice!

The staff is never at the front desk when you want to use the black card area. The computers are conveniently down every time you try to buy a drink. The woman that works on the weekend spends her whole time there smoking outside and when she is inside she does nothing but crochet and laugh so loud that you can hear that nail-on-the-chalkboard like noise over your headphones. Cancelled my membership with signature in person only to find that the bartlesville planet fitness staff had not actually cancelled the memerbership and continued to charge my account long past the cancellation point. When I brought the information forward, after 7 attempts at contacting the manager, they said that they don't have to refund the money and that electronic errors relating to cancelation (even on their own devices) are not their problem. Go to any other gym.

PF has the cleanest fitness center in town. You will frequently see the staff cleaning the facilities. Love the hydromassage and red light therapy included in my membership. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. This place has one of my requirements that many local fitness centers DON'T have . . . showers! They are very clean as well.

I really enjoy coming here. The atmosphere is better than I thought it would be...not loud or obnoxious. There are still (younger) people that just walk around and yap, blocking the machines, but I don't think you can really get away from that.

Misty said my account was flagged for breaking equipment when I never go there I go to a local gym in Tulsa then proceeded to yell at me twice for not wiping equipment while I was walking to go get the paper towel and cleaner. Then when I asked to cancel my membership she said I couldn’t. When I’m 18? She was mid 50s and red/orangish hair.

I just love the atmosphere. The employees are always helpful and have great customer service skills. I literally have never heard any of them be rude or snarky. The people working out are not standing and chatting while sitting or blocking machines. It is CLEAN! It definitely does not smell like a gym and isn't muggy. It feels bright and happy.

The whole experience is amazing. It’s better than what they say it is. The staff are amazing, friendly, encouraging, and just down to earth awesome people. They always greet us with a smile and you can tell that they genuinely look forward to seeing you when walking through that door. They ARE what customer service should be and more. The place is so clean and smells wonderful. There has not been one thing that is not amazing at Bartlesville PF and I have been going for roughly 3 weeks now. Recommend to everyone!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE!! I cancelled my membership and the employee reactivated it 5 minutes later using my "SOF". On Black Friday they drafted my account $180. I have spent several hours getting this resolved. I finally got my money back today but now I'm fighting with them to have the "cancel membership" form to show a zero balance. The employee was terminated for this same thing a few months ago apparently.

Half of their cardio machines have been out of order for like a year. It's super frustrating. Everytime I go in, I'm told they're about to be fixed.

I'll change my review if/when they're serviced.

I really do like this location, it’s clean, and the staff is nice. Misty is super sweet and is always so welcoming. The equipment is very nice as well.

The only issue I have is that they switched from being open 24/7 to Saturday’s and Sunday's only being open from 7-7. I typically go early in the morning on the weekends, just to beat the crowd, as well as it’s easier with my schedule. I’m pretty disappointed they changed their hours because that’s a big reason I joined this gym, is them being open all the time.

Extremely upset. I signed up with planet fitness about 2 years ago and I absolutely loved the fact that they were open 24/7.
Now it’s absolutely disappointing that they have changed their hours completely especially in the weekend making impossible for me to work out in the weekends now they open from 7am to 7pm. Wow
