Great gym. I've been on and off again with planet fitness over the years but I always come back because they do have great services and I like the fact that it's not as expensive as most other gyms. But this gym, in particular, does lack certain workout. Equipment that I used to frequently use when I was in colorado.

Clean, friendly, and no weird gym bros flexing in the mirror. The staff’s solid — always say hey when you walk in and keep the place squared away. Plenty of equipment, so you’re not standing around like you’re back in formation waiting for your turn.

Zero judgment, good vibe, and open 24/7 in case you catch that random 0200 motivation. If you’re in Lawton and need a place to get your mind right and your reps in — this is it.

The gym is way over crowded any time of the day. People are rude and have no gym etiquette. Adults don't understand personal space and with how many people go people will hog 3-4 different equipment for 45 mins. The employees don't really do their job when it comes to correcting people. Majority of the people are nice but too many have no common courtesy.. those who say the atmosphereis "great" just go to the gym to hangout and talk instead of using the gym how its meant to be used for people to better themselves and its nearly impossible to do that here when you have someone hogging a machine for nearly an hour and they are just talking or texting the whole time. They need to expand because this gym is way to crowded. I'd recommend looking at other gyms. This one is not worth it. The membership fee is actually $28 a month and if you're a a few days late on a payment they get you with a $15 late fee so your membership is actually $43 a month. So like i said for that price its not worth it. They won't help you out to wave the fee. WORST GYM IN LAWTON.

The best gym I ever went to! The staff is amazing, always so welcoming. I feel safe working out by myself as a woman. The fact that there is always staff present. And let's not forget about the clean environment...outstanding!

I have never had a great experience at gyms until Planet Fitness! I had never considered it because it was a “chain” and thought it would be way too busy and super judgmental. I was wrong. I was lured in by the new year special. It was a cheap try. I downloaded the app and was amazed at how awesome it was. From the app, I took a tour of the gym and services. It gave me the confidence to walk in the doors. The staff, from the start, are friendly and helpful. The gym is organized and clean. The messaging of “No Judgement” and “You Belong” makes you believe it. There are fitness gurus there and there are beginners & everything in between. I have never enjoyed going to a gym until now. Thank you PF!

Currently here in Lawton OK TDY for the military my wife is a member, have a guest pass, but the associate at the desk wouldn’t let me work out because my pass expired, but then tells me my wife has to be here with me. One I’m here tdy on military orders just trying to get a workout in and your telling me I have to pay 22 dollars for a few hours to work out. Had the nerve to be rude about it as well. Don’t ever come to this planet fitness much less Lawton OK

The structure of the gym is amazing, as is the staff responsible for the it. However if you find yourself to be an early morning gym person during the cold winter months in Lawton Oklahoma, and you are not fond of uncomfortably cold enclosed spaces, then I would definitely consider another gym. This has been an issue all winter long 2023-24. Again amazing set up but it’s annoying to work out in an uncomfortably cold gym. It seems to be common issue. I’d really hate to go next door to Freedom Fitness, but the concern for the paying members taking me there after 6 years.

Because I had good or great experiences at other planet fitness locations, I decided to join the Lawton location. Big mistake!
I joined online, and then went into the location for the first time. They couldn't find me in their system, but when I showed them my info on the app, they gave me one of the key tags. That was pretty much the only help I was given the entire time I dealt with them.
Between the employees in the facility, the call center for this region's facilities, and corporate, no one was able to figure out what was going on, yet they were still able to take payments from my credit card.
When you call the phone number for the Lawton faculty, you actually go to the call center for all the PF's owned by the same person, or corporation. That includes Lawton. They tell you to go into the Lawton facility to get anything fixed. When you do go in, many times there is no manager on duty. Last time I went in, I was told the manager would not be in until sometime the next week. This was on a Wednesday.
Because they couldn't handle their side of the contract, I wanted out. I am no longer a member, and won't be in Lawton. Unfortunately for me, they hit me with another approximately $60 to get out. So for about 2 weeks use, the PF in Lawton hit me for almost $100.

My husband had a membership here, he was going to be deployed and asked to cancel it. The staff said they would, for our surprise, after checking his bank statements, we noticed that Planet Fitness has been charging him for over 4 months, after he requested the cancelation. Planet Fitness makes it convenient to workout atanytime during the day. It's clean and the staff is always friendly. I go early in the morning when there are just a handful of patrons. The entire time that I'm there, the employees are cleaning equipment. The locker rooms/restrooms are always clean as well.There are plenty of machines, benches, barbells and dumbbells so rarely is there any wait time for equipment.The facility is large enough that I don't feel crowded. There are times that are more crowded than others, but even then I've been able to complete my workouts with no issues.It's hard to beat Planet Fitness, especially with the $10/month fee!

The Skibo location in Fayetteville is great. Never super packed where you can’t get a good work out. The massage chairs were always operational and available with the black card membership. The only thing I can honestly complain about is the cancellation of my membership when I moved again and it was too far to drive back and forth daily, although that’s prob more of a corporate problem. I joined in another state and was finally able to cancel over the phone, however, the membership annual fee was not able to be waived/ cancelled even if my cancellation was done prior to the 1st of December and I would not be using their services at all for the next year. They mentioned it was because it was in the week processing window. In the best interest of customer service, they should consider refunding customers if they cancel prior to the annual fee start date.
