Very well equipped location. My home cub is Palm Desert, California and I wish they had the free weight squat and deadlift stations that are in Oklahoma city on 59th street. I have been on a cross country road trip and visited several clubs along the way, but this location appears to be the best equipped one yet.

In the many hundreds of PFs I’ve been to across the country, this is top tier for equipment selection, cleanliness, and friendly staff

The worst customer service ever at this location. I have been calling them since May, and they have charged my card at least five times for one month, including a late fee. My bill is not due until the 17th, and I paid it on the 8th, but I was charged again on the 10th, the 17th, and the 25th. I have called the store manager since May 2025, and nobody has given me a callback. It is now the end of July, and I have been calling for months. I have also shown up many times, and they say Manager PJ is not available. The worst customer service ever; I do not recommend. I am sick and tired of having to deal with this and not being able to use my account. I have had this account for over 15 years.

staff is extremely rude whoever is the chubby chick that works the morning shift wouldn’t give her name up kicked me out. The first time I had ever stepped to that particular planet fitness and the LAST!!!!!!!! She switched up saying I was cursing at her the truth is she has no ethics no customer service. I was using my husband black card unaware that he had to be with me in order to use it. She did not intent to explain anything and just flat out kicked me out of the building telling me I couldn’t be there. She could have explained to me that in order to use the black card as a guest my husband had to be present. Or offered me the classic membership. They refused to give me corporate number and stop replying to my emails. Instead of helping the situation she made it worse!!!!!

First things first they keep this location way too hot. A gym should stay cold ish to keep it comfortable while people are working out and MAINLY to keep germs from running rampant. I would give this place 5 stars if they wouldn’t keep it so hot inside. Makes it hard to workout. I can build up my own sweat. Don’t need the building hot in itself. Maybe people complain if it’s cold but they OBVIOUSLY aren’t smart enough to understand if they work out they will warm up. THE GYM SHOULD BE NO WARMER THAN 68-70 degrees and even that is too warm.
Best range of workout equipment out of all the planet fitness locations in the area. They have machines the other ones don’t have.

Flawless. Kim was so nice and thorough yesterday, showing where everything is and then greeting me when I came back this morning. She single-handedly has the whole place running smoothly. I grew up in this neighborhood and I remember when this was a grocery store. But you’d never know that it was anything but a full-on fitness facility– – and a really, really nice one. Men’s changing room is absolutely spotless, all of the equipment is clean, in good working order, feels upscale but friendly. While traveling, it’s so nice to know that I’ve got this in my back pocket.

Planet Fitness is a great place to work out, and the staff really makes the experience even better! Marlene, the assistant manager, was incredibly friendly and helpful during my visit. I'm a 48-state OTR truck driver hauling loads all over the USA. I appreciate having access to the gyms and showers anywhere my truck fits. But the last showers and dressing cubicle weren't very inviting. Besides missing basic commodities like cloth hooks, shelves, and mirrors, they were so dirty.

So if u workout is pretty intense ur not allowed to breathe or it bothers everyone else with headphones and the music in the back ground , besides it's clean sometimes restrooms can use a little more elbow grease and also the weights make my hands smell like a decades worth of sweat , literally have to wash my hands every 15 minutes because wipe my sweat off because my skin breaks out , that's another reason why I have to use long sleeve pants and shirts , oh and is the roof ever gonna stop leaking water??? This particular PF is located in an older building in a strip mall. Cool, not worried about that. You walk in and the gym floor is nice and clean, equipment appears well maintained and the staff is friendly. Awesome. Then I finished my workout and went to take a shower.... The bathroom stall area and locker area appeared clean, but when you walk into the shower area it is like it was part of a different facility. (I did let the young man at the front desk know that it needed some attention). The showers... COLD, COLD, COLD. I ran the water for about 10 min before it got luke warm. Then I got in thinking that it could warm up more as I was showering... NOPE. never got any warmer. I went to change in the changing stalls and saw a water bug/roach not sure which it is. Gross. There was trash in the stalls and something sticky on the bench in there. On the bright side the water pressure was good!

While talking with the staff at the desk, I asked if he knew that the showers don't even get warm. He said that they were aware of the problem but he was new (only been there a week or so) and that he wasn't sure if/how they were addressing it. There were no signs or anything letting people know of the issue in the change/shower area. Not that worried, I wen out to the car. I wasn't going to write a review but then I started reading the other reviews on this particular facility. 8 months ago someone also posted about the showers being cold and he wasn't the only one. It seems this is an ongoing problem at this location. Cold shower after a workout isn't exactly my idea of a good finish to a workout. I can honestly say though, had I read the reviews before going to this location I would have gone to a different one as there are plenty to choose from in the area. This just happened to be the closest one to the place I am staying for the week.

Got in "trouble" for using an ab wheel because it was "outside equipment". Have had them do the same over a foam roller.. carry more Basic items like these and there wouldn't be the need to police the place.

When I come here alone, to burn a few calories or to release stress and aggression.

And I never work out alone. I always find somebody here to talk to to relate with or that relates to me. Sometimes I want to be alone and just get a good sweat in, maybe to ,get some feelings out. This is a good place to do that. Nobody here is gonna thank anything other because most everyone that comes here is doing the same thing. Working off the stress of the day, or working off a couple extra calories to keep in shape.
So, I consider this one of the best gyms in town, if not the best one, for my
purposes anyway.

Not bad, not great. Eh pretty much sums it up.

Walked in around 6:15pm, said I wanted to sign up.
Was given a tablet and a "Here you go".

Finished at one of the honestly uncomfortable metal table and chairs.

Went to hand it back, and the guy just took it, put it on the counter and went back to looking bored. No explaining benefits, or let me show you around, or glad to have you. Literally just mechanically handed a tablet, and then took the tablet after. I think I had 4 words spoken to me total the entire time.

Honestly considering just cancelling, because if they are that uninterested in new clients, then what else are they uninterested in? Overall safety? Who knows. Cleaning and sanitizing? Who knows.

I've never encountered a more checked out, uninterested group of employees outside shellshocked Walmart employees on Black Friday. Might as well replace the whole front desk with a sign-in kiosk. Because thats what they functionally were.

Billed me for a month I already payed for. Then was told I was not getting a refund. Keep in mind all was done when my account was supposed to be “frozen”. I explained to them that I was never informed about them going to take out an additional payment before it was frozen, and he called me a liar saying, “ his employees are very well trained and would’ve informed me.” When I had other people with me that could back up my story. Came in yesterday to see how clean it was. It was very clean and everything seemed in order. I joined and went in today. Everything was great until I hit the shower. Water was cold. My first visit to PF was GREAT!! The young lady that showed me around was very polite and explained everything to me of how and where to look for things I need. The place was very clean everywhere you turned was a sanitation station. It's a decent sized gym. We've been going here since before COVID. I definitely miss the 24/7 hours but eh what can you do but adjust. They're pretty friendly when you're walking in. I mainly use the gym floor equipment. I know there's tanning, and some other things I've just never used them.🤷 It's pretty late when we show up and it's typically full around that time. Looking at the crowd meter usually gives you an idea. I am overall content with this gym.

***UPDATE 6/2/22*** THE GYM IS TOO PACKED TO STAY AT THE HOURS THAT THEY'RE CURRENTLY RUNNING ON, closes at 10 pm. I need the 24 hours to come back. Considering other gyms with better hours.

Issues: Snap hooks on the cable machines were not rated for the weight. You can’t just throw aluminum d rings on there. Saw a kid hurt himself when one of those broke on him. Staff needs to replace those with properly rated snap hooks.
