The gym is nice so are the employees, the main issue is the price is going up yet a lot of the equipment is being removed? I agree with the other comments that state planet fitness is trying to keep up with other gyms. I restarted my membership because I wanted to get back in shape and now most of those machines that are for beginners are gone, they also got rid of the circuit room and put CrossFit equipment in there that could have been out on the floor. Everything is spread out and separated, they got rid of the ab machines and replaced them with what seems like with more stair machines, which very few people use.

The staff are very friendly and I enjoy the equipment they have available. The cleanliness on the other hand is struggling. The toilet paper dispenser looks like it was ripped out of the wall and the locker room smelled like the rear end of someone who hadn’t bathed in a month. Generally I like planet fitness and I’ve had good experience with them, but this location has the worst restroom hygiene I’ve seen in any location.

I'll start off by saying the staff here are friendly and keep the place clean. The reason I gave it 2 stars is because they recently changed the gym and are trying to appeal to Body Builders by adding smith machines and dead lift equipment. They removed a good portion of good machines for beginner to intermediate exercisers which is what made planet fitness successful. Now they are trying to be like Crunch and thats just not a smart move. I had just joined the gym 2 weeks before it changed. I guess planet fitness is trying to be like every other gym now. Its very dissapointing to say the least.

I canceled my membership a week before it renewed and they told me I was good to go. The club charged me again stating I had to stay with planet fitness one more month and told me they wouldn't issue a refund. The manager was rude and aggressive. Join another gym the employees stand there and don't clean anything till end of day. The people working out there were all nice though so if you do sign up here make a friend and get fit but I would recommend crunch as the facilities are better. There's a ton of other gyms and planet isn't a bad place to get fit just don't sign up at this location.

I have been working out on this gym since 2019.
This is the best planet fitness location ever I visited.
The employees and managers are very friendly
The employees properly clean very good.
If you complain about this gym please visit the one in NW expressway you will understand how well maintained this club is.

Planet fitness used to be 24 hours open gym but very recently they reduce the gym hours till 8 pm. I believe they should at least open the gym till 10 pm.

Not very happy as when I came in with my boyfriend like always he scanned his card and we walk in because he has a black card and have had no issues doing this in the past - never told another way

but as we are walking away the man behind the desk calls me baby girl - after my boyfriend told him that’s disrespectful he does not apologize and continues to use that term to refer to me but does not even acknowledge me

As we are leaving he makes a comment and my boyfriend respectfully acknowledges it but another employee makes a comment about how he should have his membership revoked … for what??

When I signed up, I knew about the annual membership fee and how it would come out so long after signing up. They told me that my fee would come out on the 1st of June and made me sign paperwork agreeing to that. May 1st comes and my account was charged for the annual fee, no big deal. I got on the app and looked at my documents because I remembered signing something stating it would come out June 1st. So I went to the location, just to ask to make sure that I wouldn’t be double charged next month. I was told that it was a new hires mistake on running payments and that my fee wouldn’t come out next month since it was already paid. Woke up the next morning and the amount was refunded. Signed into my PF app to notice that all my agreements had been removed from my account. You know the one stating that my account would be charged $53.23 on June 1st. May 7th rolls around and my account was charged again for the annual fee. I called the location and they put me on the phone with the manager. She agreed to deleting the documents from my account “because they weren’t right” and charged my account again. They have now breached contract TWICE and tried to get rid of the evidence by removing them from my account. Good thing they email all those to you when you sign them, be sure to take screenshots of any information on your account so you can fight a charge from your bank if needed.

Update: changed my account and deleted the old one. They decided it was still okay to charge my previous account.

Just recently signed up. Nice facility. They unfortunately don't have hot water at the time. (Took awhile however the water is now fixed). The women's locker room stays clean. Most of the participants follow the cleaning station rule. The workers are very nice and helpful. Has since signed up for the fitness class. Its been a great experience and am learning a lot from the trainer.

The gym is well cleaned and staffed, but the Dumbbells only go up to 60 which is disappointing. My biggest complaint is the gym is Far Too Hot for serious exercise. Every set I feel like I’m fighting the heat twice as hard as I fight the weight.
Cheapest gym around though, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Edit to 1 star... I've been injured and asked to cancel my membership. They did not, and have now charged me 3 additional months even after I asked to cancel again in writing. I will have to update my experience of this gym, too. Wait for Edit #2.

I have used this gym for over a year and a half. It has been a good experience for me. There are machines, free weights, and a small area for stretching and use of mats. Granted no matter what place you go to you are going to wish for more machines, benches, or space when they are full during a rush lol. My only sad remark is when they went from automated paper towel dispensers to manual (or even unrolling a roll yourself). It was quicker and more hygienic. Other than that, it is a good place and I still go to this day.

Friendly, clean, quiet, easy. Was a 5 until Alaina restricted me from handing people free water bottles. Not everyone can afford them , and when I see someone working out without proper hydration I feel the need to offer them one of the 1000s of sports bottles I have purchased for the homeless bags I’m building. Yes, the bottles also say “Tattoos and Piercings Near Me”. I wasn’t after soliciting the business though. I have plenty as it is. I’m the BBB’s 2019 “Business of the Year” Torch Award Winner for ETHICS. Sorry, I had to capitalize that word. Thought it was pertinent: just in case you wanted to rule on either side. One business is trying to help people in need. Another is restricting due to capitalism “policy says you can’t hand out water bottles unless it’s a water bottle from Planet Fitness”, says Alaina. If anyone wants to work out here, it’s a pretty decent gym. It’s clean. Machines are wonderful. No free weighted benches, tho. I love most of the employees here. Very kind employees. I just disagree with Alaina’s approach on this one. Next time, do your research. I’m one of the good guys. I sponsored more than 25 people here. Do you really want to balk at me giving away water bottles just because your name isn’t on it?

I’ve gone to a few gyms and they all seemed good- but it really makes a difference when you have a solid staff supporting you every time you come in. It’s very clean, with a staff member consistently walking the floor cleaning and wiping things down. The sign up process was easy and Caleb did a good job answering all my questions throughout the process. They usually ask a question every day to get to know their clientele and that as well gives me just a little extra motivation to come in. Very clean, professional, and a staff that really makes this feel like a community. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

For the last 6 months 2 of the 4 stairmasters are out, the gym is always freezing and the locker rooms smell like a porter potty. There’s not one time that I’m working out that I don’t need to use the restroom and I literally play a game now to see how long I can hold my breath while I’m in there because it smells so bad. I get there is sewage issues that come up and equipment breaks from time to time, however it’s important to fix these issues. I dread going to this gym, which makes me sad because this is where I used to spend 3 hours a day 7 days a week.

The men’s showers have little black worm’s crawling around on the floor. I notified one of the guy’s cleaning and he said they have been trying to get ride of them for a while. Seriously? It's a public restroom at a gym, kinda a necessity.
A few days ago I was told they were waiting on someone to contact a plumber- several days after they had already been shut down.
Not sure how a corporate business would let 2 entire locker rooms at a GYM be closed for a week but I'll update when they open them again.

Update response- call before it becomes an inconvenient to me? I have called every single day, twice a day since the 3rd od December.
I worked out on the 2nd of Dec and they were both closed. Every day since they've just said it's still closed, 4 days ago they said they were waiting on their communications director to reach out to a plumber, yesterday they told me they had no idea when it would be fixed.

I didn't need to bring it to anyones attention, especially the employee who in fact closed said locker rooms and told me I cant use them.
If there's a problem with the plumbing what would take 9 days to even get someone out there?
And why can't I use a lock on the other side of the locker room if the toilets are broken?

Outside of the nice African American gentleman on the weekend, the rest of the staff was always rude to my wife when she asked to use the amenities.
