At first glance, this is a nice looking facility. Especially with the new equipment. Take a closer look, and you'll see that cleaning is not a priority of the staff. Observe the staff always on their phones or chatting with each other instead of doing anything related to their job and it's not hard to see why. To describe their cleaning, it would be that they do the bare minimum. They're good at sweeping, and mopping, what they can easily reach. They clean mirrors. I think thats about it for regular consistent cleaning. As far as the gym floor, they aren't bad, but do lack cleaning the cleaning stations. The spray gets over everything and collects dust as it dries. Days into weeks into months of not cleaning that and it leaves a thick grime on the trash cans, towel despincer, the windows. The water fountain area looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. I do wonder who services the water lines. Exercises equipment needs to be better maintained. Regular dusting, and servicing the equipment that needs to be lubricated would also be recommended. The men's locker room is a consistent disaster. DO NOT FORGET YOUR SHOWER SHOES! Again, they do the bare minimum. They sweep and mop, clean a toilet every few months. The pictures I show are from 2 specific visits. One about a month ago when I first spoke with the assistant manager about my concerns. (I've also spoke with another employee about 2 weeks later) The other visit was from today. Both visits early in the morning. Today was actually only 15 minutes after the open. If the place was cleaned at all the evening before it wouldn't be this gross in the mornings. The toilets you can see between the visits, they at least changed out those things in the urinals, but never actually clean them. You can see that urine stains are exactly the same. There's always feces on the other toilets. Showers look like they rarely get cleaned. There's consistently trash on the shower floors. Sometimes the exact same pieces of trash remain for weeks at a time. The walls and soap dispenser are covered in soap scum. The shower curtains have mildew. The mats on the floor LOL. They never pick them up off the floor and clean below them. Which also means those mats never get cleaned or replaced. They just mop around them. The handwashing sinks always have a ring of soap scum in them. The paper towel dispenser probably haven't been cleaned off in months. Same with the trash cans. Every other surface has dust covering them. I ran my hand against one of the toilet walls to expose a streak in the dust. 2 weeks later you could still see the streak. A month later and it's almost filled in and even again. Its really freaking gross in there. I assume the women's is just as bad. I can't believe they have the time to decorate for Halloween, but can't clean. This comes from the top. The manager and assistant manager obviously don't care. The employees obviously know it doesn't matter if they clean or not. Truthfully that ends up leading to club members who don't care, that end up leaving trash on shower floors. The staff consistently demonstrate they don't care. In closing, if you are just wanting a shower for a visit, go to another location. The 3 others in town I regularly go to are never this dirty. Or better yet. Go to Loves. It's really sad, but you can get a cleaner shower at a truck stop.

I used to enjoy going here and riding the bike while I watch the news. Some genius decided to move all of the bikes the treadmills and the other stationery cardio to the very back. Now underneath the TV screens is all the weight equipment and weight workout machines. Do people doing weight reps on machines actually watch TV while they're doing it? If you want to do stationary cardio and watch the news You need to bring your binoculars. But there is the option of watching all of the people do their weightlifting on the machines right in front of your eyeballs. That can be entertaining at times.

Why fix it, if it ain't broke? The arrangement of this gym used to be phenomenal. But some one had to change it! There is no longer a 30 minute fitness workout room. They took all of that equipment and threw it in the middle of the gym below the TVs. They made the 30 minute workout into a functional training area for the big buff guys. 80% of the time that room is empty. They moved all the bikes to the very back row from the TVs. So if you want to ride your bike and watch the news you can barely see it. Instead what you see is everybody on the machines working out in front of you. The people on the machines have no desire to watch the TV because they're focused on their weight training. But yet that's where they put all of the weight machines right below the television screens. Why can't businesses just leave things that are successful the way they are?

A man harassed and threatened to beat up my husband while he exited the gym shower. Tre told my husband that he was waiting for guidance from corporate on the appropriate next steps. After waiting for over a week since the incident my husband called again and Tre would not even get on the phone and talked through another employee. According to this employee (repeating what Tre said) everything that happens at this gym goes through Tre. They also said they haven’t seen the guy who threatened my husband which is a lie because my husband saw him there several times after the incident. Also, can’t employees look and see when a person checks in everyday? This gym is obviously not interested in keeping their customers safe. The manager is either scared of confrontation or just too lazy to do his job. I guess this is what you get when you go to a $10/month gym.

I've been going here with my husband as a guest for a bit. He had to travel out of town so I decided to join the gym. Walked in and was told by the girl had to fill out everything, etc. I complained that everywhere I go I always have to do my own customer service. And of course after 30 minutes of trying to do it on my own, verifying email entering bank account numbers and routing numbers etc. It didn't go through, probably because I screwed up somewhere and filling out all the stuff on my phone. So sad that you can't even walk in a gym and get service to join. Instead they want you to do all the work yourself. They probably would have freaked out if I tried to pay cash! If you want an easy sign up to join a gym DO NOT COME TO THIS ONE. I'm headed to a different location to see if someone is serious about doing their job.

I’ve been a planet fitness member for quite some time now! Even worked at a location through college! And man, can I say the manager at this location impressed me today! Such a kind and caring individual! One of the cleanest club locations I’ve been in! Happy friendly staff, clean machines, bathrooms smell great, mirrors were spotless, paper towels and sanitizer stations were full! And the environment and atmosphere were superb! Will definitely be visiting this location more frequently!

Love the place I just wish u would keep the treadmills that let u jump from 3, 5 , 10mph. So much easier to use instead of constantly hitting the button to adjust ur walking and running. And i wish u had some sort of walking group club or some sort of club to help u find a workout partner.

Hands-down one of the best Planet Fitness locations I’ve visited! The Brookwood gym is always clean, well-lit, and organized — and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or a seasoned gym-goer, this location has everything you need. The equipment is well-maintained, there’s never a long wait, and the layout makes it easy to get in a great workout without feeling cramped.

The Black Card area is a nice bonus too — especially the massage chairs and hydro massage! It’s also refreshing to be in a judgment-free zone where everyone can feel comfortable.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area. Great vibes, solid equipment, and a super supportive environment. 💪💜

Updated 5/3/2025 - Worked with the new on-site trainer, Victor, for a week and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. He's a wealth of information and did a great job of putting me on a path to achieving the next steps of my goals. Highly recommend working with him if you're interested in stepping up your game.

My only complaint is that their in app/online scheduling system is jank. Better to talk to them to schedule your sessions until they fix it.

Updated 2/26/2025 - I generally like this gym. The staff keep it in clean and in good repair for the most part. The billing situation is still a hassle and honestly a misstep on their part.

Friendly staff, great gym. It's a little cramped sometimes. It often seems like there's a lack of space for floor exercises. When equipment is in need of repairs it often happens quickly. I miss going to a gym that has group classes sometimes but overall I'm pretty satisfied with PF. My only other complaint is the same one I've had for ages... I dislike that they want a checking account for the auto-bill (like it's the 1980s). Let me pay how I want! I do get around this by paying early with a credit card so the auto bill never hits. The on-site trainer, Cameron, is fantastic.

New year new me mood hit me so my brother and I decided to try and go to the gym. His schedule got turned over and he couldn't make it like he thought so I tried to cancel my membership through the app, you CANNOT cancel your membership through the app they force you to go in person to cancel your membership that was the first red flag. I go in to cancel my membership and ask for a refund of $100+ because the first time I stepped foot into this planet fitness was to cancel my membership, sounds reasonable right? Wrong. Horrible customer service, when I asked if I could get a refund because I did not receive any service from planet fitness all they could tell me is no, no details on why just no. So now I'm out $100+ for something I never received. Yes I should have went but the circumstances did not allow me. So I thought they would see eye to eye but they don't care. 0/5 stars if I could.

I'm only using this gym because my home gym is under construction I believe. The gym itself is nice, no complaints there but, one of the staff members at the desk barely acknowledged my request where I politely ask if she could deliver some toilet paper to my work out partner (f) in the other bathroom. Rude but, whatever, ik customer service goes through a lot so i didn't think much of it, I am also very understanding of the situation of being the only one at the front desk and not being able to leave your post.
20min pass and I call my partner to see if she ever got the tp (she didn't btw) I go up and ask the other staff member if they could please get tp delivered to my partner (this other staff member has been up there for the past 10min at this point) and they both just kinda brush me off and so I stand there waiting and am getting a bit impatient until she finally and rudely fulfills our request and when she came out, I thanked her politely to no response.
To no surprise, I don't think we will be returning to this location:( terrible experience

I went to this location due to my usual location being temporarily closed and the employees at this location were just horrible. From the moment we walked in, there was just attitude and while normally i would pay no mind to it there was a situation where there was no toilet paper in my stall. Due to my social anxiety, i had my partner go to the desk to bring this to the attention of the employees. After 15 minutes i called my partner again and they talked to multiple employees at the front desk (one male and one female) and they couldnt bother with assisting me. I waited for another 15 minutes before i was finally helped by a different employee. My partner then told me they were both up there for the 15 minutes i was still waiting. I get someone has to be at the desk but the female could have left while the male waited to bring me some toilet paper but instead it was just attitude the entire duration for that situation. It just saddens me because it takes a lot of courage for me to even go to the gym so this situation just makes me not even want to go back.

Planet Fitness experience really depends on who’s on staff that day. Mornings are great—every staff member is friendly and accommodating. However, my experience at 12 PM was disappointing. The front desk lady insisted there was a time limit on the massage chairs, even though no one else was using them. It felt unnecessary and a bit unreasonable. Consistency in customer service would make a huge difference!

I work as a driver and can see a new gym every day. this one has a large space, well lit, nice music, everything is clean and the equipment looks new. good, friendly staff in the club, not a very large number of guests. Unfortunately, there are no shelves for personal items in the showers. and what I liked as a man, there were a lot of beautiful girls 😁

I have been going for three weeks now and I could not be happier with this location. Chris and Isaiah are the best people. They are always encouraging, always greet you and are making sure the place is in top notch shape. You always get a fist bump when you walk in with a "have a great session". And sometimes, that extra little motivation is needed at 5AM. Plus they are constantly cleaning, vacuuming, wiping stuff down. I really love the Brookwood location, best in town!

By far, Planet Fitness on S. Western Ave. in Oklahoma City is the best Planet Fitness in the whole city. It’s super clean, and all the staff there are like very kind and make me feel like I wanted to keep coming back. I even talked w the manager DeAndre and he’s amazing. Loved this gym but oh my God good luck canceling your membership. I was not in any contract. Honest question; If I can start the membership on my couch through the app, why do I need to jump through 50 hoops and go to the city where I signed up simply cancel it?
It's a decent no frills gym with plenty of machines. Rarely crowded but not a lot of open empty space for yoga/stretching/calisthenics. Helpful staff, massage beds and an infrared tanning all I'm missing is hot tub or a pool

This location could afford to trim down some of its unused cardio machines and do some rearranging to create some more space in the free-weight area.

Ever since eden left management has gone out the window. It feels more like an intimidation zone, non judgmental is a lie. I always feel judged when coming in by this big guy and the lady with glasses despite coming in for years. Managers almost seem frantic to catch up on things and whenever you need a manager theyre always taking the days off. and staff DEFINITELY don't get payed enough, $10 according to indeed which sucks for kids these days. My son deals with the same unfair pay. Plus there's Always a weird smell in the massage room, like mold. Hope it shapes up but i just cancelled because there's way better gyms

Awful customer service. I came in to get a shower non of the showers got hot they barley got to lukewarm no soap I. Dispenser whenever I went to talk to the front desk wasn’t helpful as I explained I travel all over the United States and this was probably the worst shower I’ve ever had at a planet fitness.
