My daughter is a member here and I get in free as her guest. Why don't I join you ask? I live 45 minutes from Shawnee and I have a membership to my own wellness center. I go to Planet Fitness to work out with and encourage my daughter. We both love Planet Fitness! A wide variety of machines and free weights, we use the machines. She uses a workout app and has the proper machines at her disposal. Very clean gym with super friendly staff. I see people there of all fitness levels to include Seniors like myself. I highly recommend Planet Fitness!

I usually go to a location in MWC or OkC. I stopped in here to tan, the place is clean and the tanning area is clean. Had plenty of time to get undressed, put lotion on and get into the bed, about 5 mins. However, afterwards apparently you only have like 3.5 mins to get out of the bed, get ready dressed and clean the beds before they start checking on you. I’ve never felt rushed about getting out of the room after tanning. My routine after getting out is to put on an after tanning base lotion, get dressed, put on my make up bc I usually stop in on my way to work, and then clean the beds. I could see rushing me if they had a line of people and all the beds were full but all were empty. 3.5 mins isn’t enough time for people to do what they need to after getting out of the bed.
I’ll probably come back if I’m in Shawnee but I now know I have to rush to get out of the room or I’ll have someone knocking on my door.

This is one of the nicest Planet Fitness locations I've ever been to! It's clean, they keep their equipment well maintained. They have all the attachments for the pull machine, including the ankle straps that many gyms fail to replace once worn out or stolen.

Most of the staff is super friendly, and even the less friendly ones are never rude (just direct and short.)

I've been going to planet fitness for years, and still can't believe the nicest one I've ever been to is in Shawnee!

I took the tour and was ready to join even the extra black card club which seems like it would be wonderful after a great workout. The young man who showed me around I was extremely impressed with his knowledge with the equipment and the judgement free zone that you truly enforce. Your gym is perfect (- pool & hot tub) neither held against you 😆😆. However when I seen the hours that's what held me back from 5 Stars I'm wanting/needing more late night hours and not one of those skinny gyms that look at me crazy. I wished you were a 74 hour gym.

Love the Shawnee Planet fitness. The front staff are friendly, equipment and locker rooms are always clean. My only complaint, is I wish they had earlier hours like they used to PreCovid and when we signed up but I imagine it's hard to staff those hours.

Love this gym! It is clean and comfortable. The staff is kind and helpful. There are a variety of machines that are great quality. The other gym members are respectful and always wipe down the machines when they are done with them. You can also schedule free appointments with a personal trainer. If you’re looking for a great gym this is the one for you.

They pulled money from my account without premission. I had money in my account and was still charged a $10 because their system denied my card the first time they ran it for the $27 but not even 3 minutes later they ran it for $37 and it cleared. Please be careful and watch your account closely when using them. As far as the employees they were great very friendly and helpful equipment was clean for the most part. I will say I really enjoyed going there until they started messing with my money 😭

Planet fitness is nothing but a scam you can't even get in touch with anybody from corporate they will keep charging you for services that you are not using it then if you ask them to shut down your account they will not do it so that way they can keep charging you and keep charging you until your account gets to the point where you can no longer afford to pay it off I urge everybody who is thinking about signing up for planet fitness to not do it

This place has gotten a lot better. I joined and canceled my membership when it first opened due to poor management. Now it's a lot better. The staff is better trained. They finally got a clue and have actual sanitize stations for the hands instead of stupid spray bottles only. The Norman Planet Fitness is still much better as their entire set up is just better. They give you three coins for the massage chair there, AND their hydro massage table is a chair, which is just better. You can't beat the price, though, for this gym. Their summer program for teens is amazing as well as the Black Card perks.

I have not went to this gym in over a year and told them I wanted to cancel. I then was told I had to come inside to cancel but then we got hit by the tornado and now the gym is closed. But they are still charging my card for a membership I do not use. I cant get a good number to get in contact with someone to cancel my membership. This gym only cares about taking your money.

I love your slogan--No Judgment--which describes exactly what Planet Fitness represents in reality! I'm a 75 year young, queenager, and I'm the oldest person I've seen there, but there is no judgment, for real, and I'm very happy and peaceful working at PlanetFitness. I also love the staff; they are kind, helpful when I ask questions, professional and take care of biz! They keep the business remarkably clean and shiny, making it even more inviting to do my necessary workouts. I enjoy sanitizing my machines, as the cleaning stations are many, and are well spread out so to encourage safe health practices. After exercising, I must take only a few steps to get sanitizing needs, then I'm off to the next machine. The cleaning stations are quickly refilled if paper towels or cleaner depletes, which is also an indicator that the staff cares about our health. There are plenty of handicapped parking spots directly in front of the entrance, that shows Planet Fitness welcomes and encourages handicapped/disabled to workout in their clean facility. The cooler is always stocked with a variety of cold drinks, which is handy for me and others who forgot their drinks. I really enjoy the hydro massage bed as a terrific reward to myself upon completing my routine. There is a great variety of different kinds of machines and spaces to meet all exercise needs and wants. Thank you for providing an inviting workout business to all the citizens of Shawnee OK!
