Best Planet Fitness in Town!

I’ve tried every Planet Fitness location in the area, and this one stands out in every way. It’s incredibly clean, and the equipment is always in excellent condition. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. I wanted to try a new machine for the first time, and both Ese and Teka were more than happy to assist. Jason, the personal trainer, is a great resource—always willing to answer questions about exercises or anything nutrition-related.

Management here is top-notch. Shawn and Zach clearly care about both, the members and the overall appearance of the club. Their dedication really shows. Hands down, this is the best Planet Fitness around!!!

I go mostly every night and this club always clean and the club attendant her Teka always keeps the club clean and treats all members as her family. This location is the worst. Do not come here. I was trying out different locations while riverside was being remodeled. The machines are old and janky, it constantly smells musty and like hot shit. I’ve been recorded on video in the locker room. Every time I came here someone was filming or photographing in the locker room without care of anyone around them. They never have paper towels so I can’t imagine the gear is clean. Overall disgusting.

Thus gym is very big inside Has 2 machines for every exercise. Showers where 6 out of 10 busy gym so pretty clean for the size maybe 8 out of 10.

The facilities are pretty dirty. Every time I’ve used the showers, there has been a roach in the room. I used the same shower back to back days, same hair and bandaids and mess in it each day. Fine for the gym equipment but I wouldn’t trust the sanitation of anything there; it’s not routinely cleaned

I went to tan in bed 4, there was old lotion on the walls of the room, floor of the room and the walls of the bed and the floor of the bed, the floor of the bed was nasty. The room was warm as if someone just got finished tanning no paper towel in the trash can….clear signs of not been cleaned! I wiped it down before and after my use but still couldn’t clean it all up. I came to tan NOT be grossed out!! DO BETTER PLANET FITNESS! Or give me a discount for cleaning!!

Among all the Planet Fitness locations I have frequented, this particular one stands out as the most subpar in every conceivable aspect, ranging from the clientele to the majority, if not all, of the staff. In particular, an individual named Shiz or Shiv, who works at the Admiral location, exhibits an alarming level of aggression. His behavior suggests he might be under the influence of methamphetamines or an excessive amount of anabolic steroids, which appear to exacerbate his aggressive tendencies. I observed him exercising one day, and his hyperactivity was quite astonishing; he seemed incapable of remaining still and was literally bouncing off the walls. If Shiz or Shiv intends to continue working here, it is imperative that he acclimates to our operational norms, and this suggestion is made without any malice.

Well Its not a very clean place
I don't think they ever clean the showers. Maybe they just pick up the debris out of the shower. They only have two toilets which constantly compete for the water supply from the showers. It prob. Take twice as long to shower at the gym as it would normally because the water supply is so poor. It's a pretty nice place. I wish it were cleane
r and ok so now a year later I left this gym they don't offer hot water for showering any mote. They have always got a plumbing issue and they never resolve it. This gym sucks.better maintained. Àlso since they started closing on the weekends it is way less convenient. Feb 19 after a big snow storm, I hope to grab a hot shower and the locker room is 64 degrees. This place just keeps getting worse. The worse gym ever.

I've been disappointed by this place. The trainer I was going to use at one is their new locations muss our appointment because "he was running behind" so after I did my own workout I walk outside and see the trainer smoking weed in the parking lot (41st & Yale Tulsa,OK). Maybe they shouldn't have pictures of the trainers if they are going to stand people up to get high.
I called the corporate number and yes they apologized and said they would freeze payments for 3 months, they would transfer it to another location, and I can still use the facilities... let's just say that never happened. The only thing that did happen is they moved my home location further away and I've been there 2 times.
Then I had one major abdominal surgery and one minor one so I went by before having the surgeries to can cancel the membership and give them copies of my surgeons paperwork for them as proof of what i was to have done and how long is be our for and guess what? Yes, they (71st & Riverside Tulsa, OK) have no record of the paperwork or my request to cancel. Now I have to go and make a special trip in again to cancel and hope they do it right this time. I'll never go back unless it's the last gym avaliable. At far as other locations I can not say anything about them. I have Planet Fitness off and on since like 2010 because they are everywhere I've lived.

This place is pretty good, but holy cow... The total body enhancement had ELEVEN bulbs out. That is plain ridiculous.
Also there is absolutely zero soap in the showers. Not even dispensers.
Both of these are glaring issues and should be tended to immediately.

Customer service was HORRIBLE. Employees are racist!!. Me and my boyfriend both have memberships with planet fitness he just doesn’t have the app so he couldn’t scan the QR code to get in. I was told prior by a different gym that when people don’t have the QR code to scan the employees could look up our names. My boyfriend really had to use the bathroom and I was taking a little longer in the car so he went in to go use the bathroom and they refused to let him use it even after he told them he had a membership. And that I was coming in right behind him with the QR code. Instead of asking him for his name and looking him up like ANY OTHER PLACE would’ve done they just refused to let him in to pee. So I went in to see what was going on and why he had to pee outside and the employees were aggressive and rude and continuously made unnecessary comments such as “we’re not just going to let some crazy person in to use our bathroom” and that “without a membership he couldn’t use their bathroom” but I continuously said he has a membership and they didn’t care nor apologize to me or my partner and were very rude. They deserve 0 stars.

I was trying to cancel my subscription today for this disgusting place and they didn’t let me because I need to be here atleast for one year and pay for 12 months.
