10 months ago I came into Prevail with back and knee pain, struggling to keep up with my kids’ activities. Thanks to the structure of the workouts and the dynamics of each exercise I am more confident than ever. Best muscle recovery and functional strength program that is ready with modifications to meet you where you are. In short, I have corrected club feet, arthritis, numerous pelvic diseases and trauma, and had severe tear in my core. If I can do it, you can too. No excuses allowed, it sucks to be strong.

Prevail is as close to having a personal trainer as you can get with group fitness. Everything is programmed with intention from the movement prep through the cool down. Coaching staff are all 100% dedicated to the class and consistently correcting form or encouraging you to go up in weight or change the progression to move you toward being your strongest self. Everyone there is there to work and get strong, no outside noise or any of the other worldly nonsense coming into the space making it both a physical and mental step away from the business and craziness of the world.

Prevail offers a well thought out program and excellent instructors. As my first foray into anything like this, I appreciated the smaller class sizes. They allowed for more guidance finding the right progression to start with and timely adjustments to form and weight as necessary. Following your plan is not always smooth sailing, but they will offer advice and encouragement, as will your fellow students. Having been here a year, I would say the results were in line with expectations once reaching the prescribed attendance and nutrition goals.

This is a fantastic gym to workout in. I love the family feel with small class size and the variety of workouts. I have noticed a huge difference from when I started to 3 months in. Joining Prevail has been one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever given myself. The intentional programs and sessions are exactly what I needed to meet my goals, and the community is amazing. Prevail fitness has changed my motivation to work out single handedly. I have tried boot camps, home equipment, personal trainers, etc. while they all had their benefits, none had me quite as “lifestyle long term” minded until I met Whitney, Dani, Sean and Patrick at Prevail. I personally educate patients on a daily basis to make these changes regarding self care and improving health and wellness with the functional medicine philosophy. However, it was time for me to put my own words into action. I have made a lot of changes with my diet and avoiding environmental toxins but something was missing - MOVEMENT!!! This is one of the easiest health benefits for me to justify my way out of on a regular basis. The prevail program provides strength, endurance, accountability, mindfulness, flexibility, camaraderie and much more in a FUNCTIONAL way. I give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

Two and half years later. I am still going "STRONG" with Prevail. I have learned along with functional medicine that functional physical training is just as important. At Prevail, you are encouraged with consistency and discipline to commit to improving yourself. As I stated before, I have never been a lifter but am lifting more than ever expected. With their program, it is easy to see validation and evidence of the improvement with measurable outcomes during sticker week. I am grateful for variety, encouragement, and flexibility. Prevail is an absolutely amazing place to find a healthier, stronger and more confident YOU! The class based instruction with fun, upbeat and outgoing instructors make this so much more than a “gym”. They make this a place where you can truly fall in love with working out.

I was so tired of “yo-yo diets” or going to a gym and not really know what I was doing, seeing no results and quitting out of anger. Prevail has shown me in such a short amount of time that you don’t need these crazy no carb/ low carb diets, you don’t need to be in the gym for hours on end doing these insane workouts.

What really drew me was #burpeesober. I’ve never been to a CrossFit gym because I knew it wasn’t for me, and if that’s what works for you that’s amazing!

I quickly realized that there is no other place I would rather be at 4:50am 3-4 times a week. Not only because of the amazing environment, but because I feel good good about what I’m doing for my health, strength and body.

So I strongly suggest if you are looking for a place to become that strong and confident version of yourself that you’ve been looking for, check out Prevail and I’m sure you’ll fall in love just like I have♥️

I started attending Prevail over two years ago, as I stepped away from endurance based hobbies. As someone that would lift at home or on my own at a gym, the main draw of joining Prevail was to have dedicated, knowledgeable base of instructors to guide me. I’m happy to report that this is exactly what I got. Every instructor is unique and has their own personality, as well as a great level of knowledge around fitness and exercise science. Prevail is just different! I've done the 5-day split in the weight room, HIIT and CrossFit and none of them are actually comparable to Prevail. The different types of sessions are well planned, easily modified to accommodate my specific limits and fun! What I'm most surprised my is how much my cardio vascular health has improved in the last 5-months. I recover more quickly during strenuous exercise and my resting heart rate has decreased significantly. The instructors are all awesome and the members even more so.

LOVE this gym and all the people there! I joined about a year and a half ago after undergoing a double mastectomy. Adjusting to a cancer diagnosis and treatment is daunting in itself, but dealing with the physical weakness that it brought left me feeling unlike myself, and far older than the 39 years I was. I am so grateful that I found Prevail- I can't say enough good things about all of the staff here! They met me where I was at, but help push me towards my goals. They are kind, knowledgeable and keep the focus on personal accountability and a "continuous growth" mindset. Prevail Strength is literally everything a gym/fitness studio should be. I have always been intimidated by the gym because I would go in not knowing what I was doing and I became very obsessive/compulsive with exercises and working towards goals that were never met because I simply was not doing anything correctly. The instructors at Prevail are so well versed at teaching proper form in exercises, helping their students build strength, motivating their efforts, and caring about the successes and concerns of each and every member. They take pride in knowing that they are different and they really set themselves apart from the rest because the results are absolutely real. I never thought that in three weeks, I could gain five lbs of muscle and burn four lbs of fat and feel stronger and more confident than I ever have. They start with a power pack to get a feel of your strength and to teach you the moves. After that is complete, you go into the small group classes that feel very intentional with the programming. I couldn't be happier at Prevail. The "I don't know what I'm doing" jitters was instantly put to ease by the helpful instructors who breakdown exercises in an easy to follow way.

I have issues with one of my knees and sometimes can't perform a certain exercise. Instead of skipping the exercise and missing a portion of my workout, the instructors help me find an alternative exercise so I don't miss out.

Being able to compare my fat loss and muscle gain as often as I want using in-body is an awesome perk. I recently had my first "quarterly check-in" where measurements are taken and compared to when I first started. These check-ins really made me feel like I had a goal I was working towards because I wanted to improve from the previous check-in.

In addition to tracking your body progress, you've given a binder to track your strength progress as well. In the past, I never logged my workouts but this is such a neat way of seeing your progress through the weeks/months on paper.

I've learned a lot about nutrition and how to eat better by attending some of their extra classes and watching their social media videos. Just put it in your face.

Something that might fly under the radar is how personal Prevail feels. The instructors know your name and will have casual conversations with everybody and are always available to help. I've never felt out of place, uncomfortable or scared to ask questions. The owners know your name and will acknowledge you every time you see them. This may not seem like a big deal to a lot but it definitely has made me like like "I'm a part of Prevail" rather than "I take classes at Prevail".

By far my favorite fitness/strength training out there. Individual training, but with a group of people. Three different strength programs a week, programs change monthly. Many flexible time slots to chose from M-Sa. No jumping around damaging your knees (been there - have the scar to prove it). Though not a cardio program, your heart rate can get up there - it’s up to you. The trainers are supportive, instructive and committed to your success. Can’t go wrong with Prevail.

Even as an out of state client, I receive full plans and descriptions of exercises via video every time a new program is implemented, which is every 4 weeks.

This is the best fitness place in Edmond. If you want to train where you won't get hurt, then this is the right place for you. The trainer are wonderful and they teach you the correct form to help avoid injuries. I was in a lot of pain from a previous surgery, and this is the only thing that truly decreased my pain. I started working with Whitney when I found out that I was pregnant with my second child. I didn't know which exercises were pregnancy safe. After my first pregnancy, I was doing workouts that were actually hurting my pelvic floor and creating horrible ab separation. Whitney took me through a program that was designed specifically for pregnant women, and now she is helping me with postpartum recovery and nutrition. I am constantly impressed with her knowledge. Prevail has been been a great addition to my life the last couple of months. I had been getting bored with previous workouts and was not seeing results. I joined the Prevail team to gain strength and better mobility. I felt stagnant and ready to challenge my body. The HIIT style classes at other gyms were intimidating and I didn't leave feeling confident or better about myself, instead I was defeated and worn out.

At Prevail I was able to use the one on one starter classes to find out where I was with each movement before jumping into the classes. That really helped me to know that I need to focus on what I was trying to accomplish, not what everyone else was working on. While you are in a group class, each person is working within their own parameters and lifting different weights, resting at different times and moving at slightly different paces.

I feel stronger, more confident instead of defeated and leave each Prevail class with energy instead of fatigue. Everyone has been really nice and welcoming, which is unlike a lot of other studios or gyms with large class sizes. It's also great to be apart of a group that is within my age range (30+) and where a common thread of strength and overall happiness if among us.

I was hesitant to join Prevail. I had worked with several coaches but it seemed no matter what I was always unsatisfied with where I was. I had a horrible relationship with food. I thought I had to do cardio to lose weight. I felt guilty when I treated myself to dessert after dinner.

I have now been a prevail member for almost 4 months and the total change in mindset is crazy. I for once feel good about where I am in my journey and no longer feel defeated about my size or worth.

Before prevail I had been going to a hard core , fast paced, high energy gym which I really did love but was not good for my body. I knew this but refused to listen till I was finally feed up with not healing from a little hamstring strain 3 years earlier! Yes it took me that long to realize I needed a change. A local PT/ chiropractor/trainer, Kyle Griffith, recommend Prevail for me not knowing that I had already done some research and already knew one of the trainers personally. He has helped me in so many ways already and gained all of my trust so I was finally willing to completely changed up my workout routine. I started prevail the first Monday of 2021. I’m not going to lie, it was a very rough transition for me! I missed the other gyms crazy environment, energy, and members for about a month. After that month I slowly started noticing Prevail’s way and realizing that this is a much smarter way to workout without re injuring my hamstring and becoming stronger. You go through about a week of “training” before you can start working out in a class but that’s so the trainers know you! Trust me it’s worth the wait. It may seem slow and silly but just trust the process. After that week, group classes are next. They are much smaller than I was ever used to but as I am still finding out now, I’m so thankful for it. With smaller classes the trainer can watch everyone to either make sure they aren’t going too heavy, too light, have correct form, help improvise the individual, and just be that encouragement we all need. If you are in pain like I was for 3 years (I’m only 27), then consider Prevail and trust their ways! It’ll surprise you and you will be happy you switched over! Heck, I’m still impressed with their little tricks and tips. All you need is patience (which I struggle with) and the courage to take that first step!

I have been a client at Prevail for several years now. What I love most about this place is small and intimate atmosphere they create. Classes are capped at 10 people so you truly get 1 on 1 attention for the trainers. If getting burned out is a concern of yours, don't worry. Sean and Danielle do a great job at switching the strength and fitness programs every 4-5 weeks. They are knowledgeable in any fitness ailment and have treated any body related pains I have through their programs. If you're on the fence about joining, I strongly recommend you give them a shot.
