Nose and eyes burn because of all the chemicals used to clean. It's very distracting to a beneficial workout. Also, you can't get a good workout in during peak hours because all the machines and weights are being used. Kids from the nearby high-school sneak in without a membership when you go through the doors, they are waiting for someone to walk out so they can go in for free.
Just wanted to share some thoughts if you are thinking about joining.

Been coming here for over a year and have to say I love how this place is open 24 hours. Few machines are broken and stuff but it's understandable. My only gripe is that the front area where the treadmills are gets so hot. I understand it's summer and the heat wave going on.

My 2 year contract finally came to an end. I called to have them cancel just in case there was a clause that stated for you to cancel otherwise an additional month would be added.

I talked to Mark at the Harrah location and he was so nice and friendly. I told him that I had cancelled my membership for me and my wife already and was thinking about signing up again so I could keep my good rate.

He specifically told me that that could be an option, however if I wanted to do that, I would have to go on the last day of my contract and ask to extend it.

I never went through with it just because of my location and this company, is still charging me... I have all my emails from my original cancellation so why are they still charging me? I was then told by the MWC location management that Mark said I wanted to sign up again...

No, that is not what happened... The people at the MWC location came up some BS excuse to keep my membership locked in so they could keep taking my money. I am so frustrated and talked to the lady on the phone and wasted 30 minutes of my time and they refused giving me 25$ back.

They are playing he said she said over there and would rather piss off a customer over 25 dollars. I was loyal to you guys for two years and then the moment I stop wanting to pay you treat your ex-customers like trash. Shame on you!

An organization is only as good as it's people, Shape deserves 5 stars because of people like Kayden at the Midwest City Shape. Nothing determines return customers as much as great customers service. Kayden goes over and above to ensure customer satisfaction.. I've not only experienced this first hand, but I've also witnessed it with everyone I've seen her interact with. Personally I wish they would stop rearranging the cardio area. It messes with my anxiety. I stop coming on a regular till I can adjust and get comfortable again. Currently I can't handle it in the mornings and I miss out on being able to attend group fitness. (I need to get good and exhausted before attempting to be in a group setting).

I appreciate having a fitness center so close to my house. One word of caution however is to be aware how expensive it is to cancel membership. I’m particularly referring to our children who have grown up and left the house. Other than that, great place.

This place won’t let you cancel even if you have a permanent disability. I tried multiple times; they tell you they have policies in place to prevent you from canceling. I am now handicap but they say it’s not their problem. The company has still been taking funds from my bank account for services at this gym even though I haven’t been in months. Customer Service is horrible. Stay away from this place.
Edit: It won't let me reply to owners response. Sounds like this is a ongoing problem with more than one person. Sorry wrong customer, no daniel here.

My first commercial gym I’ve ever started working out at. Been truly lifting since I was 16/17 and I now jsut turned 19 and basically have my whole lifting adventure here. Having it 24 hours is super convenient plus the MMA room is perfect to do calisthenics and medball workouts. For the 2 years I’ve been going here I’m always thought it was a pristine gym where it’s been kept clean. Only had 1 problem with an employee but I haven’t seen him again. Anwyays over all great gym to get into highly recommend

Went in late Thursday after work just to check out the gym equipment, tanning beds and pricing. Currently have a contract at another gym but wanting something closer with more locations. The woman at the Help Desk, Alisha Crossno, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, very cheerful. Gave me a list of all the classes offered there too. Nice and clean place. This will be my gym soon!

I have had my membership for over a year, I really like the staff, including all the trainers. They make you feel welcome. The classes are a wonderful addition to workouts. I have been a person who has a Planet Fitness membership and everything is a no judgment zone. I appreciate that while I was going through my journey, now I feel like I’m at a level where there are some serious lifters and people who really care about their health and helps me stay accountable.
I appreciate the price point and all the features I get from my membership.

First off you might read negative reviews because of their contracts or prices. I have used this gym for years before I moved. I recently moved back in and I’ll be honest I didn’t like that they didn’t allow you to bring guests because I have a personal trainer that works with me sometimes. And with the price of their contract I figured guests would be a thing. Heather explained to me that if they allowed guests without being paid ($10 for guests btw) then the gym would be really packed all the time like all the big franchise gyms out there. This really made sense to me after she explained it. Also heather was willing to work with me if I needed help with workouts my trainer gave me and I didn’t understand. The fact that she’s a personal trainer and makes a living doing this I thought it was super sweet of her to do that and offer it free of charge anytime I needed. Sure they may do things differently than other gyms but honestly I really like this gym and their staff. It’s always clean, the staff don’t hound you, and you have private access to the gym 24/7. That’s a big one for me cause I have a lot of anxiety around people so being able to go to the gym at 12am when no one is around is really amazing for me. Thanks shape fitness for all you do and I’m glad to be back!

I first left a bad review because I got burned on a contract. Someone from Shape called and got it all straightened out for me. I was able to even sign from my smartphone and get the contract ended. This place deserves negative stars. Pathetic gym ran by incompetent management and owners. Not only do they screw you over with their ridiculous cancellation policy that they lie about when you sign up they are continuing to charge membership dues while the gym is shut down due to Covid.

Loved the gym when I lived in Oklahoma City. I have since moved from Oklahoma and have been trying to get them to cancel my membership after multiple signed letters as instructed to their main office I am still getting charged for it.

This gym feels like a gym, feels homey, feels welcoming. The staff are available but aren't hounding you. It's always clean and everyone respects the passion and effort others puts into it. Tons of choices for cardio and they have a MMA room if you feel like getting deeper aggression out.
Haven't used the tanning side of the house but I hear its amazing.

I have a membership here through my health insurance. The main feature that got me to sign up is the MMA room. The reason I only give 3 stars is the mma room is not well kept for cleanliness. Signs say take your shoes off, which not a single person does, so the mats are always dirty and the octagon area is as well. They need to vacuum, and heavily mop the area daily.

Update:. I've ended up using a broom and their Swiffer mop thing on the octagon myself, before doing some martial arts training.

This is my home gym of 9 years. I will say it's always freezing in here to me.... But I love the equipment and cleanliness.. prices are higher than most places but the gym is taken care of... First of all, the place is way too expensive. The cheapest option is $33/month, and that is under a one-year contract. Well about 3-4 months ago, I lost my job and soon after went up to the place to see what I could do about the contract that I couldn’t pay anymore. They told me there was nothing they could do even after I told them that I would gladly pay a termination fee, which I don’t understand because what if people have to move? It’s stupid.

The facility on SE 15th Street is open 24/7 365 which many gyms claim but shut down on weekends early or so on. They have amply amounts of cardio equipment and a wide variety of free weights and assisted weight machines. I was going to give it 4 stars due to my membership being insanely high. The price is far above other local gyms when including other people. Golds gym is 10 bucks no contract which is the same at10 gym but for both these cases they are not 24/7. 10 gym closes on weekends early Fri Sat and Sun. The price if by you self without tanning is around 20 bucks a month which is very reasonable if you are like me and work out after evening shifts or whenever you feel the urge to pump it up. They also have volleyball and racquet ball courts, a MMA ring and a whole back isolated area for heavy bag and sparring training. Not to shabby of a gym. 5 stars for being an actual 24/7 gym, multiple locations, large facility, every piece of equipment you need for a good workout, and nice matted heavy bag area in the back.

I signed up to go to the McLoud gym, which I recently discovered was closed and I had not been notified of this prior. The company has still been taking funds from my bank account for services at this gym. I called and spoke with Ms Evans who was very rude and told me she "could not lose any more money on the Mcloud deal" and that it was not HER fault that the building owners kicked them out. As if it were mine. She told me that she did not care if I signed up for the Mcloud location because I can use one of their other locations, which are not near where I live, which I why I signed up to go to where I went. I contacted the gym several times to see if they would cancel my membership due to them CLOSING the location my contract was under and to refund me the last month's fees since the gym had been closed. Once I finally got a hold of Ms Evans she told me she would not cancel my membership nor refund my last payment. I asked her to simply cancel my contract because I was not interested in using their business any longer since they would not help me with this, she said she would speak with the owner and get back to me, I have not heard back from her since then, over a week ago. I would expect better practices of customer service and retention in a business of this size. Since they closed the gym I signed up to use I feel that my contract should be voided and my last month's fees be refunded since I was not able to use the facility. I would not recommend this facility to anyone and I wonder how many other people they have taken advantage of in this way, it's sickening.

This gym has been great always take advice on new free weights everyone posts about broken equipment but I have been with this gym since first started in 2007 with very few issues at multiple locations the people who complain about broke equipment probably broke it themselves. Much better than a corporate 10 gym who has quarterly rate increases.
