New member. Very local owned and operated feel to it. I go in mornings and usually I’m in there by myself to find all the weights racked,no mess, and equipment in good shape. Only recommendation would be a hack squat or belted squat option for those like myself who want to squat heavy without putting pressure on spine. I’m glad to have found this gym and thankful to the members who care for the equipment, and the staff for creating this environment. Great gym for any level of fitness

HORRIBLY RAN BUISNESS. Owners do not care about anything other than collecting your money. I was in a contract when I unexpectedly moved. They make the process to cancel as difficult as possible and as soon as you stop paying they will turn you into collections immediately. Not to mention, you can call or go in person during the "scheduled hours" and there is never anyone there. They are NOT willing to work with you or try to help out in any way. Absolutely amazing they have stayed in business for this long. Whatever you do, stay away from this "business"!

Absolutely horribly ran business. I had gotten a year membership and had paid the full year. Once that year was up I wanted to cancel but no one was ever there during their "scheduled hours". After multiple trips up there and multiple calls with no call back I blocked the payment to them because they were just taking my money and not helping me cancel. They then proceeded to send it to a collections agency. Absolute money hungry terrible owners who don't care about doing the right thing. All they want is your money and they don't care what they have to do to get it. Don't ever go here and stay far away because they're just out to steal your money.

Loved the gym but they have never once answered the phone. I have called about 10 times over the last month, not one answer, and I had some simple questions and the last time I called, I could tell that someone hung up on me. Not sure what’s going on there but might as well not have a phone.

I am editing this review because I see the owner actually responding to people on google but not calls or messages, my name is Cruse Garrett and I just want to cancel my subscription. I believe the payment information is under my fathers name Bob Garrett. I realize times are hard in business but it has to be better than this.

ventilation is so poor your skin will burn from someone else's icy hot. very humid gym. Dumbbells are missing their weight numbers; hopefully you get the weight you want. The only air conditioner that works is by the front desk where there isn't an employee but from 2p-7p, M-F Still prefer going here though since it's small but not busy.
it was 62 degrees outside today and 75 in the gym with a ton of humidity. ac was set for 70. how is this possible?

When I first signed up, I was hopeful because the two men at the counter were super nice and helpful. However, I did not get a tour of the facility like I thought I would. My first day working out there I noticed nearly all of the free weights were busted up, rusted, and broken. If I had gotten a tour I would not have purchased a membership. Every time I left the gym and washed my hands the water would run grey/black because of how dirty and disgusting the equipment is. While working out there, I have barely seen anyone clean that gym or the bathrooms. Paper towels and toilet paper are all over the floor in the restroom and the trash is always full.Not very convenient while we are on our second year through a pandemic. The staffed hours are always changing and never consistent. There is hardly anyone ever up there if you have questions regarding your membership or the equipment. The guy who does work the front desk, when he is there, is nice at least. The owner responds quicker to the bad reviews left on google than she does to my emails! I am seriously disappointed in this place. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE.

First and foremost this gym stays dirty no one cleans equipment from what i've experienced. Gym rarely has staff even before Covid.
I was on a year contract with this gym. I started my contract on December 16 I paid for a full month of membership when I signed up. This gym only processes payments on the 1st of every month. So when January 1st came around I had to pay another month. I'm finishing up my contract which ends Dec 16 but I had to pay for another full month December 1st. I called to let them know that I have now paid two full months and only got to use the gym for 4 weeks. They didn't do anything about it , and are definitely not willing to work with anyone after they sign that contract. You'll be better off at 10 GYM

This gym has seen better days. Rumor has it that the owner just doesn’t really care anymore and it is very apparent with the state this gym is in.

I was wanting to change gyms, but the amenities were nice and it kept me there for the time being. I have more moved over 20 miles away and no longer want to be a member at a gym that is in a different city.

I am unable to get ahold of this company. I have driven to the physical location and there is no one there. I have called multiple times every day and left voice mails. Either they don’t have any employees or they are just actively scamming people.

Unfortunately I cannot tell you to get away from this gym enough.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. If you have a problem with your bill there is absolutely no one to talk to. They employ young people at the front desk so they don't know answer to any questions or just give you completely wrong information. Was told owner or manager is never on location to help with billing or dispute charges, only the young receptionist was allowed to play middle man with any questions I had. Meanwhile not allowing me to cancel my membership that was signed 4+ years ago because of charges that I cant talk to the manager about. They perform business like children, with no professional at all. I cannot say enough bad things about my experience. Aside from this their franchise is dying due to their apparently horrible business practices and their facilities are absolute trash, hence why all their locations are slowly closing . TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!

I signed a 6 month contract. My contracted ended 12/2019. I signed a termination agreement as it was up come January 2020. I was charged in February and they are going to try to charge me for March. They are working under a name that is not theirs. Their license is not valid with the State of Oklahoma. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! Go the extra mile and pay someone else. This was around the corner at the time and convenience was attractive. The AC quit working right after I signed up & the equipment is old and ripped. There is never any staff there when they are supposed to be. Just go somewhere else. The staff will not give out the owners name but I already found it. BE AWARE

Update:
The gym contacted me promptly after seeing this review. They gave me a new key fob and I have not had any problems with the key fob since. I’m not sure if they have addressed the other issue yet, since it is winter, but I appreciate the quick response.

This company says they are a 24 hour gym and that they have staff in the building until 8 pm. I am currently sitting outside the gym, well before 8, in my car unable to enter and workout because their entry tags wont work, and there is no one to let me in. I have asked numerous times for a new sign in tag with no response or help from any of the staff. This place is terrible.
Also, they do not air condition the building. During my run, the room was at 86 degrees and unbearable.

The website is amateur at best, but I was hoping that's because they're more focused on fitness and it turns out they are which is the only positive.

They don't post pricing in their page so it sent me searching the reviews. They want nearly $45 a month if you want locker room access? I paid $22 a month for a year at Planet Fitness with more amenities, why would I pay double for a smaller gym?

Then I got to the owner's responses. You can tell again it's mom and pop run. Their smug, arrogant and racist response to being accused of racism is disgusting. Of course the people complaining weren't members, from the reviews, they probably never got helped. Your response is disgusting. More humility and not immediately denying their claim was definitely called for and you did the opposite.

I'm glad they were closed so I could do more research. They're next door to me, but I believe I'll drive a few miles and save some money.

I enjoyed the convenience of Shape Fitness until recently. Well I had to use the restroom, until recently i was able too. Now I have to upgrade my membership $10 extra bucks just to relieve myself. The company could at least add a restroom or gave customers prior to this change a heads up in the form or letter or email. Instead we have to find out by attempting to scan our card, which doesn't work by the way. Unfortunately, I will be cancelling my membership and biting the fee to do so.

Apparently my $33.67 monthly fee no longer gives me access to the WOMEN'S locker room. They have put a scanner on the door, you have to have an upgraded membership to access the locker room, shower, restrooms now because they put a tiny sauna in that area. The upgraded fee would be $10.00 more a month! If I wanted to pay 40-50 a month I would go somewhere with daycare, new equipment and fitness classes. I'm highly disappointed in this place and how they treat loyal customers.

I use to be a member and am trying to sign back up because I liked this place. It is close to my work and I drove all the way from del city to come here on my day off to sign up for the year. "Training for a marathon". It is Monday and you open at 10. Well it is 10:20 and I am trying to get in the building so I can sign back up and their is no staff member anywhere. I'm knocking on the door and calling with no response. So now I am going to have to go to the location off of sooner.... Seriously disappointed in the punctuality. If your sales hours are 10am to 9pm than someone should be there or they should at least put a note on the door letting people who want to sign up know that no one is their at the moment so that I am not just standing there looking like an idiot...

It's a nice little gym. I chose shape due to it being a 24/7 gym. I usually workout in the early early morning so it was a necessity. The gym is always clean and when I do go during staff hours, the staff is nice. Good equipment and I have yet to go to the gym and have to leave because it is too busy. I definitely would recommend this gym, especially if you are looking for a good 24/7 facility.

I have tried 6 times to cancel my membership due to moving more than 25 miles away from the gym. After 6 attempts to cancel and after having filed the proper paperwork; receiving proper confirmation from shape fitness that my membership has been canceled, the company has continued to bill me for 5 months after the fact. I have made several attempts at contacting shape fitness for further support, of which no staff is ever present to help in doing so. Shape fitness has made no attempts at correctly by the situation when I have provided every document necessary for them to cancel my membership. I have not stepped foot in this gym for 5 months and still am being billed. That is stealing from customers. I would rate this the worst gym experience and lack of professionalism I have ever encountered in my life. I would not recommend this facility to anyone, ever.

The gym itself is great. I had no problems when I went there. Staff was always friendly and facility was always clean. The first issue was when I was 11 month into my contract and wanted to add tanning to my package. The staff never told me that just adding something to your package, reestablishes a new year long account... I am in the military and had a deployment coming up, the staff was very unprofessional about my initial cancellation. They acted like I was lying and just trying to get out of contract. I said "well it doesn't matter because my year is up anyways" that was the day I found out about the new year contract I signed up for. After going through the fiasco of canceling and getting the "proper documents" to them to do so. They told me I would still be charged a fee, even with military clause. But they didn't really know so that was up in the air, and never got charged.

Now I am deployed and they're still drafting out of my account and I have to work a ten hour time difference to try and call when someone is there. A good side though the person I talked to at the front desk when I called back was apologetic and understood and was professional about it. Hopefully when I call back tomorrow she will have an answer for me as she promised. She is also the only reason I am giving it a three stars...

Now they're charging me not monthly but Bi-monthly. Having to work with them while on deployment has been really infuriating, the time difference and my only day off being on a weekend, with them not there.

TLDR.
Great gym if you're trying to stay in one location and not going to be moving or trying to get out of a contract. Beware of adding stuff to your package as it resets contract.
