I started at Balance Pilates when I hurt my back and needed to strengthen my core per recommendations of my chiropractor. Pilates here has been more than I could have wished for! It's like having a physical therapist to help you work out. They are so good about correcting our position and helping us gain strength without injury. I went from being scared to work out to enjoying how I was getting leaner and stronger. Highly recommend!!

Balance Pilates is a great place to build your core strength in a fun and friendly environment! There are a variety of classes and times to choose from for all levels. All of the instructors are great too! I’ve found Pilates to be the most ‘bang for your buck’ to get all of the stabilizer/core muscles involved and worked out in a low impact way and highly recommend to everyone.

If you're a guy who thinks Pilates is only for women, think again! I started Pilates with my wife 10 years ago and it has definitely helped to keep me active and fit. I'm 70 years old and in the last year have had a knee replacement, rotator cuff surgery and carpal tunnel surgery and Balance Pilates has made a huge difference in keeping my knee and shoulder flexible and strong. The Pilates Reformer machine uses tension springs and your own weight as resistance in strength training and the straps can be used in your hands or on your feet to increase the strength and flexibility that all men need to keep active as we get older. Jonni keeps things fun and fast paced. Lauren has a great stretch class on Wednesday morning. SEVENTY IS THE NEW FIFTY BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE STRONG AND FLEXIBLE!

I'm new to Pilates and absolutely love the full body workout I get at this studio. Jonni and Lauren are excellent instructors. They both are extremely knowledgeable and willing to work with any fitness level. They make you feel comfortable, and their passion for Pilates is contagious. Absolutely loved my first group session with Jonni! She was so helpful in making sure I felt comfortable and kept the right posture to get a great workout - without hurting myself. And everyone in the class was so fun and welcoming. Nice small class sizes. I will definitely be back!
Update: I’ve been going consistently for a year, and I’m so much stronger than I was when I started, with significantly less back pain. Pilates + ELDOA combined has been a game changer for me! I even stopped having regular chiropractic appointments, because I don’t need them as much. I always walk out of class feeling wayyy better than when I walked in! I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get in shape, regardless of fitness level or injuries! It is simply the best.

I've worked with more than my share of fitness pros and Jonni stands out. No one studies more than Jonni and no one is more focused on each client's unique needs and goals. She truly cares about her clients and offers a wide range of modalities, from Pilates through myofascial stretching and Eldoa. The studio also has a great atmosphere...I can't recommend anyone more strongly.

The owner is knowledgeable and accommodating to different levels of comfort and ability. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and feels more like a spa than a place to exercise. Her class sizes max out at 8 so there is plenty of attention available as you are learning if you are new. After one session I was able to go a whole work day with out my usual muscle spasms in my shoulder based on the awareness and alignment of my core and posture.

I was intimidated about trying this, but I'm so glad I followed through and took a private class. Jonni was very patient and knowledgeable about the body. She worked with my physical limitations and still gave me a great workout. I'm severely out of shape so don't let that stop you. Great experience, I bought a package.

Can't say enough great things about Balance Pilates! Jonni is an incredible teacher and makes each class an absolute joy - you almost forget your muscles are all shaking! She'll check your posture so you're aligned correctly, ensuring proper form and great results. This was my first true Reformer class and I was intimated before walking in but Jonni has created a welcoming and fun studio that I would recommend to everyone. The TRX/Reformer Mix is a great, challenging option as well!

I have been struggling with working out and maintaining my desired weight, due to a back injury. Jonni was extremely knowledgeable of the anatomy of the spine and body as a whole. She customized a workout program specific for stabilizing and strengthening my back. I have seen an immediate response with my back and my body. She was flexible with my busy schedule and the pricing for private lessons is very reasonable. Worth every penny!

I was recently diagnosed with severe osteoporosis of the hips from being a runner for 17 years. Pilates classes have greatly reduced my hip and back discomfort with the stretching and mobility involved in this means of exercise. The owner and instructor, Jonni Taylor, is very knowledgeable and will help work with you on specific posture, core and balance needs. The classes are offered at various times each day to fit your schedule. Pilates is a fun exercise with fun people. I highly recommend it to all.

I'm officially addicted. I've shopped around different studios and I like Balance Pilates the best. The studio is bright, clean and beautiful. The instructors are top notch. The price is similar to other reformer studios.
Jonni is very passionate about Pilates and ELDOA. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about body mechanics and she takes workshops throughout the year to teach us new things. She wants to be sure you are doing each move right and that you get the most out of every class. She spends time explaining what you are doing, where you should feel it and why you are doing it. If she sees that you are not doing something correctly she will correct you, so that you don't develop bad habits. I have gained flexibility, strength and knowledge about my body taking her Pilates and ELDOA classes.
I would highly recommend Balance Pilates to anyone looking to get more in-tune with their body, gain strength and flexibility and build muscles they never knew they had. Best decision I ever made.

I am a personal trainer and enjoy fitness. I have to say, I love this place!!! I love the way I felt as soon as I walked through the door. The other people that came for class were so kind and honestly time went by so fast. Jonni helped me learn how to modify some things for my medical issues and helped me increase intensity on some exercises for others. I felt great after the workout. The next day I could feel the muscles I must use often that I miss in other workouts. I will be back!

I’ve been going to Balance Pilates since December 2017, I’m very pleased with my classes & instructor Jonni. She makes it fun as well as productive. I’ve seen & felt improvement physically even though I’m only able to do 1 class a week (wish I could go 2-3 times wkly). This also helps mentally with the correct breathing techniques she implements with our workouts, I sincerely appreciate her attention to each individual, knowing some of our limitations. Love this studio and staff. It’s a very comfortable studio, not pretentious or intimidating and they understand how the body moves and functions, which helps immensely with modifications due to strain or injury. I’m a pretty active person and do several different types of workouts a week, but feel like my sessions at Balance Pilates keep me from injury and help me work out overstressed muscles from other activities. Plus I can’t get the lengthening and toning I get from Pilates anywhere else.

Not only is the place clean, modern and professional, the owner/instructor was so knowledgeable and helpful to every slightest detail of my back, shoulder and neck, problem areas of mine for years. As much as she helped my body, I don't think I've ever had so much fun and laughter with an health facility, instructor or group as I've had at Balance. All the people there become like a genuinely fun and kind family.
