My review comes on the heels of a good storm that left a lot of water on the course.The greens were very good which was nice and the only reason I gave 3 stars. The tee boxes were terrible. The fairways are also terrible. I can’t tell if it’s been stripped to be resod, or if the grass is dead and gone. There is no grass in any fairway, mud is the playing surface. The sand traps are pretty much gone. It's hard to tell if someone is really trying to make the course nice. Hoping spring brings some much needed vegetation.

As a regular golfer here for years, this course was at its peak back in 2013. The greens then were as good as any public course in the city. The good news is that in the last few weeks the greens have turned the corner and are getting back into form thanks to the new super and a dedicated staff. The fairways are in good shape. There is room for improvement as the bunkers are still unplayable, but overall the course has gotten noticeably better. If you haven't played here recently give it a try.

Played today May 3rd 2021. Interesting approach to abandon traditional hazards like fairway and green side bunkers to really ramp up difficulty with course wide clover patches. To keep in tune with new management's attitude they collectively decided not to mow anything except the greens. Some cover patches was 6 to 7 inches deep, good luck keeping pace of play with the only effing chace you have of finding your ball is to step on it. Manager has never been spotted anywhere other than behind the cash register, swiping credit cards and counting money could probably be left to a lower graded employee. Short staffed? Roll up them sleeves and do something! Who knew spring was coming? Today was absolute trash, your attitude matches but hell golf is all about consistency right?

To be completely honest this rating has nothing to do with the course itself (which the greens are in terrible condition anyways”) but it has to do with an employee specifically. Recently I was golfing with one other golfer. We teed off at about 14:00 on a weekend. We went through the front nine in about an 1:15 minutes as the course was empty. Instead of playing the back nine I wanted to re-play the front to improve on some shots I missed earlier. I was called over the loudspeaker and told I could not play the front again. When I went in to ask why that was considering the emptiness on the course I was told that there was another group about to tee off. So unimpressed I carried on, waited for roughly 15 minutes with no one showing up to play the front nine, teed off on the 10th and played on. As I was leaving the 10th green there was still no on on the tee box on the 1st hole. I just feel that it wasn’t an issue to play the front nine, but it became one. It’s a frustrating experience as I golf every weekend all over Oklahoma and this is never an issue for late afternoon golf. Take this review for what it is but I won’t be going back to tinker again unfortunately, it’s just not worth the price for the state of the course and the way you may or may not end up getting treated. Also For context i am a handicap 9 golfer, not a drunk guy out to mess around on the course.

The greens are in serious need of repair... MOST of the greens are ate up with a fungus/disease and have to hit ball over craters... About 1/2 of tee boxes are dry and plastic tees about bent in half just to get to stick into ground. Had to walk a the tee box to find a spot where tee would stick...

Best course for the money. Fairways and greens are taken care of. They had been letting the bunkers go, but I have seen some maintenance activity on them recently. You can play cheap by walking or just playing nine holes. Even cheaper prices for juniors. The chipping green area is huge! You can chip out there all day on a bucket of balls.
