I really enjoyed playing 18 at Trosper Park. It shows the maintenance crew are doing a great job. I also liked the added landscaping near the tee boxes. One of the better courses in the Mid-Del OKC area.

Not a great experience when i payed in i ask about the grill, pro shop said yea its open all day so we loaded up cart an headed back to the grill because we got there early, grill was shut down completely. Bathroom was disgusting. Range is mostly dirt. Course was in good shape but within 3 holes we caught a 3some with one walker that made it clear they weren't letting us play through despite us wait 5-10 on every tee box to tee off. When we made the turn there was 2 new groups sitting on 10 tee box that were clearly starting there an just avoiding the groups teeing off on #1 , i went to the front desk and ask why that was happening as our round was already on track to be 5hrs long the answer i got was β¦β¦.. low rates never know who's gonna come outπ€·π½ββοΈ Public course in a big city no marshal keeping things moving an on track. We were given a rain check for 9 hole because it was clear we weren't gonna finish our round before dark. An we just left. Mind you this was in a Tuesday would hate to see what this place is like on a Saturday π€¦πΌββοΈ

Love the course.. Left a range finder in cart 62 called next day not turned in. golf is a game of integrity. evidently does not reach to cart barn barn at Trosper.. be care not to leave anything in cart you do not want returned . No excuse for thievery.

In my opinion, Trosper has the best kept greens and fairways in the entire Oklahoma City/Edmond area.

Not a bad course on its own, but very low compared to LP, Conrad, and others. 2 things stood out when I played on 4/13. First, the range is absolutely horrendous, worst in the city besides maybe Tinker. Second, the employee drove by and told us to pick up the pace. Our group of 5 were walking off of the 9th green in an hour and 25 minutes and the group behind us had not waited for us at any point. I was too shocked to reply. I cannot recommend this course at a price of $47.

This is probably the finest of the OKC courses when you consider a few things, good and bad.
1- Condition of fairways and greens are always on the high end. Even during the winter kill spell a couple of years ago, Trosper sustained healthy growth of turf all around. This past weekend the fairways were the best Iβve ever played there. 18 has a little issue about halfway down but thatβs about it all around.
2- New carts are now available with UBS plug in.
3- The other groups that play there often keep a good 4-hour pace.
But caution because there is no marshal who can monitor slow play and the clubhouse for whatever reason lets the tee box stack up on 1.
See a lot of five someβs so prepare for that.
4- The opening hole dog leg par 5.
This causes backups at the start. Trees left. A giant tree on the corner in the middle of the fairway. Trees through the landing area of your tee shot. Trouble right.
I would take the giant tree out as it impedes pace of play from the get-go.
Hole #3 doesnβt help the process. Little dog leg left, and yet again a group of trees run up the left of a preferred target line. Some spray it right into other groups on 5 or into the bushes through and across the cart path on the right.
Either take out the trees left or better- move all the tee boxes forward and make this a straight away drivable par 4. That would really make this a unique course.
5- The pro shop is very small and isnβt a point of emphasis. And very unwelcoming to stay after a round.
Overall, the course is legitimately the best course in the area of the group of OKC courses. Itβs way nicer than any of the Hefner courses, Earlywine and nicer than Lincoln as well and just friendlier for average golfers than Conrad is. Yes, itβs high priced- nearly $50.00 for a Saturday round. And itβs not in the best part of town.
But that has never been an issue.
Great course that never disappoints condition wise.
You do get your value here no question about it.

Great course and restored to it's beauty. Use to play here when the head pro first took over and it was in sad shape but Brandon and his greens keeper have completely turned it around over the last few years. Great job guys.

Very limited on choices in the area, but this is a fun track with plenty of difficulty. Course has some level changes and dog legs so placement is key. Driving range with debit machine, chipping area was closed but 2 small putting greens for practice.

I've played here many times it's a fun beautiful course. Staff is usually pretty nice and the greens can be tricky. My biggest problem with this course is the course flow. It's terrible. Sat on multiple tee boxes with two other groups with another group in the fairway. Slow play is always rampant here and without a Marshall, it will never improve. Needless to say, after playing the front 9 in 2 1/2 hours and sitting on the 10th tee box with two other groups, I will not be playing this course at all anymore. It's the same thing every time I come unless it's bad weather. Update: We got tired of waiting on the 10th and left after sitting there for 20 minutes. They need a Marshall. Update: I am reading their response to my review below and we did start on 10. There was no excuse. So when I say we were on the 10th Teebox it was actually the first because they had everyone starting from the 10th Teebox that day. Maybe I should've said the 10th hole.

I've played here many times and will likely play here many times in the future. As of July 2023 the course is in decent condition consistant with other OKC municipal courses - on a whole not great not terrible depending on the time of year.
What really inspired this review was the golfshop works. They are not kind individuals. I left my rangefinder and called in. The guy was rude but did tell me they had about 30 rangefinders. Told him mine was a MOSTLY black Bushnell was unsure of the model. A few minutes later he comes back on and says: we do not have ANY all black Bushnell rangefinders. So I go in the next day with the original packaging to match serial numbers. They had 5 or 6 Bushnell rangefinders magnetized to a file cabinet next to the register. With "more in the back". 3 of those rangefinders were my exact model. The other 2 to 3 were ALL black models. It took 2 minutes to match serial numbers to my rangefinder. So did the guy not care enough to actually look or did he lie to me? I didn't expect him to say yes we have your rangefinder just wanted to know if I should come up and take a closer look at their inventory of lost rangefinders.
If you lose equipment go up and look for yourself. These guys do not care.

Very reasonable price. Course conditions were excellent for a public/municipal course. Unique and challenging. Definitely underrated. Facilities (pro shop, etc.) are fine, but a little bland and could use an update/remodel, but... whatever, I don't like fancy country clubs anyways!

Nice course which gives higher handicap players some forgiveness as most of the course is open enough that misses aren't punished too badly. I enjoy Trosper. it's pretty challenging and the fairways are generous. Risk and Reward heavy so make sure you have good course mgmt. Cafe workers are nice too, it's a small proshop but they have decent stuff, lots of Puma gear. The range isn't great, the grass is long and terrain is awkward esp in the morning with the dew but their practice greens are excellent and indicative of what you'll encounter on the course. Friendly staff and solid OKC muni, it's a good time. My only complaint is, as with all OKC munis, there are no marshals so when you inevitably encounter a 5some during prime time, just be prepared to wait.
