I come to the gym for cycling. They eliminated one class and are using the cycling room for massage chairs so now the cycling needs to share space with other aerobic classes like Body Pump. This is ridiculous. There is plenty of space in that gym for them to put their massage chairs somewhere else. What about the room that used to be used for childcare? Give us back our cycling space or you will lose some members.

PUBLIC SAFETY: Do not use the sauna. I tried to ask who did the Sauna rebuild to give them a chance but is that composite decking in there for the bench? Is that smell off-gassing chemicals from plastic decking (VOG’s)? That is extremely unsafe, and may cause serious sickness, throat, eye, and nose irritation. I know Trex brand says not to use their products in high heat situations (aka a Sauna). I’ll be looking more into this if the 24hr Fitness Corp won’t take responsibility and fix it quick and will be contacting public health services. Come on guys, it’s not that hard.

Creepy old guy moaning in the pool showers for 10min and leering at young women who are just trying to swim and people jumping into the pool straight out of the sauna without showering. Absolutely disgraceful

I’m very disappointed in 24-hour fitness. Again, people at the top making decisions that aren’t actually impacted or seem to know, or care about the impact this causes. They are taking away cycle classes to build a ‘rest and relaxation’ room. Who goes to the gym to rest and relax? And why would they think it be a good idea to take away one of the most popular and most well-attended classes. So many people that attend cycling specifically have their memberships just for that. The instructors, Joey and Nikki are amazing. There is talk about possibly moving the spinning bikes to another room and while it’s completely nonsensical to take the cycling room away, I hope they will at least just keep the bikes so we can still have some form of the class.

I am not a reviewer and so if Im taking the time to write one of these out it’s because I want to advocate for something that is getting missed to the detriment of a business or org. I’m leaving a review here because I don’t think the many reviews that me and other members have left through the 24hr app are actually being received and with that I don’t know that this issue is being seen; and I know that any smart business cares about gaining customers, but even more, retaining them. With that said, I’ve been a loyal club members for over 4 years and have chosen 24hr fitness over many other clubs and their more d affordable fees and newer facilities because 24hr fitness (and specifically the McLoughlin location) had outstanding instructors and group fitness classes —most especially their cycling classes have been some of the best in town.

However, after years of taking cycling classes with Nikki and Joey, we students were informed without any notice that management had made the decision that these classes were immediately dropped without any follow up as to how these cycling classes could be accommodated. I pay for my membership annually and was given no notice that a significant portion of classes would be cancelled with no notice. Classes that have historically and are currently some of the most consistently full classes with a very loyal following. I understand there are changes being made and cycling is experiencing a downstream effect, but the lack of clear communication and dismissal of group fitness classes that are well loved and attended makes absolutely no sense and feels really disrespectful to loyal paying members. I hope that higher management gets this review and can understand the anger I’ve impact this has on loyal clientele.

The instructors are 5 star instructors, and I could not give higher praise to this club’s cycling class instructors, their attention to form and well rounded classes.

I’m looking to and waiting on management to respond to me (and many other loyal members) with serious consideration and solutions as to how to reconcile this cut to members. If cycling classes go, I will not be renewing my membership and I will be inquiring about how this is going to be reconciled/compensated as I lose the core benefits of what has kept me a loyal member.

Corporate greed is taking away spin classes. Our room is being replaced with a Recovery Room that they will charge extra to use. There apparently is a room that the class could be moved to but it doesn't seem that this is being considered. This location and class times worked well with my work schedule. Spin classes are the reason that I joined 24 Hour Fitness. Looks like I will be canceling my membership and finding a fitness center that actually cares about all of its members. Other members have expressed that they will be canceling their memberships as well. Nikki and Joey are awesome instructors that I am willing to follow to a new fitness center.

They have tons of equipment , much of it broken or in general disrepair. They have 5 treadmills that integrate with a smart watch, three have been broken for months with no sign of repair. Chances are you’re not going to get to use what you want.
The showers are gross, missing doors, not working, drains stopped up.
I wish my annual membership hadn’t just renewed. I’d go somewhere else.

Edit- 6 months after my initial review, now 4 of the 5 treadmills that connect to a watch are broken. The connection to the heart rate monitors on the cybex machines are physically destroyed. Despite their response to this review, they have done absolutely nothing to improve the situation.

On Saturday, September 7, I saw 2 men acting aggressively to some women in the upstairs weight area. Ther were no employees around and appeared that there were only 2 staff for the entire huge facility that day. The women went downstairs to report he behavior. An employee finally came up about 20 min later to speak to the men. They were not asked to leave despite making the women (including myself) feel unsafe.
This location is understaffed and does not seem equipped to handle routine patron safety.

This place is absolutely terrible. The staff are careless and unprofessional. Even though I paid for a full one-year membership, they didn’t let me in and, after a month, suddenly told me I wasn’t a member. That is unacceptable and feels like a scam.

When I simply asked to use the restroom, they even refused that. It’s truly disgusting service. One particular employee was extremely rude, and the rest of the staff never once informed me about any supposed issue with my membership.

Honestly, one star is far too generous for this kind of treatment.

EDIT: No i won't spend my time emailing your corporate website. HIRE CLEANERS AND ACTUALLY CLEAN YOUR GYM.

Chipped edges at all the bathroom mirrors, dirty tiles all over.
This was insane, ive seen the gnarly reviews for awhile but thought, it cant seriously be that, even over years of people reporting the filth online. I just went to check it out myself and was so disgusted, im insulted that grown adults, aka the manager in charge, allows a gym to be open whilst this filthy. Ive been to SO MANY GYMS, and this is the worst. As if they've NEVER mopped once, or sprayed a machine down, ever. There's a layer of some crumbs, old sweat, then dust. There's scratches, marks, all kinds of stuff.
Im sure the sauna is the grodiest of all. There were hairballs all over the locker room, barf x 93757272.
People should cancel their memberships but i guess they are gross too so they like it.

The vibe in this gym is just awesome! The AC works perfectly — it's always cool and fresh. The best part is the 24/7 access with absolutely no restrictions. I love that! Got a free minute between work — I just drop in, get my workout done, and move on. It honestly makes me happy that I can come in at any time of day or night without any limits. Places like this are my favorite!

This 24 hour fitness is pretty good. It has all the right equipment, a relatively quiet matt area where classes are held. And everyone seems to stay in their own lane.

I found a great trainer, Kyle Berger. I wanted someone who would put me in shape for biking, kayaking, backpacking and day to day life. He made my 3 month training experience fun, informative and challenging. Kyle's training has allowed me to perform all my outdoor activities with a higher level of intensity and confidence.

The rating has been raised from one to three stars. LA Fitness is always cleaner but not as convenient. The showers work mostly these days. TVs in the locker room were ripped off the walls and have still not been replaced, along with the swimsuit machine spinner, which has wires and pipes hanging off the walls in the men's locker room. Tiles are missing in the steam room. It looks fairly run-down. It needs some drywall repairs and painting. There appears to be an improvement in the steam cleaning of the steam room, and it's no longer as grungy; however, it quickly becomes dirty because men wear their shoes in there and track dirt from the street. It also appears to have water backing up from the drain, which can lead to the growth of mold or mildew. (Updated July 28, 2025).

The staff at the McLoughlin location are nice and welcoming. The equipment seems in good condition and I love that the pool has salt water and therefore less chlorine. That is a huge deal for me because I am so sensitive to chlorine.

I particularly wanted to recognize and commend manager John Horn, who helped me with an issue with Corporate—more than once. He is professional, kind, and empathetic. He truly cares and goes above and beyond.

Suggested improvements/frustrations: the hot tub seems to be broken often. This is a real bummer for me because it helps my muscles Relax and it’s a high point of when I use the pool.

Also, the upstairs floors near the bicycles, and likely in other areas, are too dusty and made me cough. It also seems to be the case downstairs by the Ellipticals, but less so.

Other than that, I’ve been very happy here.

I have been coming to this gym for a couple years. I specifically time my workouts to avoid 1 extremely rude male trainer — who today 7/6/25 hosted an unscheduled class for other gym trainers in the stretch room and was really rude when we took up enough space for 2 mats in the corner of the room. The class had plenty of space to do their exercises, but he encouraged the students to be in our personal space and kick our belongings because he felt he owned the room. Also he was promoting unsafe workout technique, yet again. I’ve complained directly to management about him multiple times. Could 24 hr management please make sure to put his classes on the schedule so I know not to come in? Thanks

I just got a membership around Father’s Day. I use to have one years ago; when the facility was clean and kept up. This is pretty disgusting. I will finish my 3 months with the trainer and I think I will check out LA Fitness. Planet fitness where I came from is much cleaner than this place. The basketballs are trash, they all have bumps on them, the showers hardly work, the towel dryer must have broke and they don’t want to replace it. The way they keep up on their gym is a direct reflection of how they appreciate their members.

The upside is they have enough equipment when it's busy that you can generally do what you need to do. On the other hand, it's pretty much as disgusting as a truck stop restroom.

The showers commonly have hair, mold, peoples stuff, and bugs in them. The men's locker room doesn't have a dryer like other locations. It appears they had one but I assume it broke then removed it and never replaced it..... so when you leave the pool/sauna area you have to (unsuccessfully) dry it with the hand dryer or just pack soaked close in your bag. Also the floor is never dry or clean so I'd highly recommend slippers or something or risk getting athletes feet. The dry sauna bench is pretty much a lawsuit waiting to happen since I've seen multiple people slip since the bench isn't secured and is broken. And their are a few machines upstairs that need at least basic help.... Like adding a small sign on a machine that it's missing a pin instead of just buying a replacement pin seems crazy.

Overall... Should it be shut down... Probably. Or at least maybe a week of cleaning, reopen, and hire a properly staffed cleaning crew. Do I expect 24 hour fitness to do anything...Not unless a health inspector forces them too.

I will lower the star one time for every week the gym floor is not cleaned and add two stars back for every week it is cleaned. Dirty napkins, trash, dust piles…. A dirty gym floor is a dangerous gym floor.

I will start adding photos of the piles of trash.

Edit: very clean 3 weeks in a row.

Updating my original review about the cleanliness of this gym - it’s definitely got better but there are still things to be addressed. Having someone on equipment wipe down rather than always vacuuming the floor would be great and better care of the pool and hot tub which is still often out of order. The best thing about this gym is the classes, body pump with roberto is so much fun - I wish there were more during the week! 5 stars to Roberto but 3 overall for the gym in its current state!

For the love of God, get some fans upstairs. You could spend $150 and make the space far more tolerable.

Update: I submitted feedback, still no action from the GM of this location. Spoke to some of the staff and it was implied that he is too cheap to put the money in and it will become 'unbearable' in the summer months.

Being too cheap to buy some fans to address something that poses a legitimate health + safety risk for your customers is unacceptable.

Save yourself the trouble and go to another gym.

One more update: Just look at these reviews! This club is like an alcoholic significant other, who keeps promising they will change ... but, they never do. Like an alcoholic, the only thing that will affect change, is to make them change. That means people need to stop giving money to this place. Otherwise, there will be no motivation to clean up their act. It's the same complaints, over and over, for the last several years: Broken equipment that doesn't get repaired, inadequate quantity of Olympic plates, filthy and unsanitary, et cetera.

Edit:
It's been 10 months since I left this review. I am thinking of making a change, due to the limited hours at my current gym. After looking at the other reviews, it appears that things have not changed appreciably. Thank you Google reviews, for saving me from wasting my time with another 3 day trial. It's safe to say that this gym has no interest in responding to members' feedback. That seems like a business plan that is doomed to fail, but yet this gym remains open for business.

Original review:
I'm giving this gym another chance, after a terrible membership experience three years ago. I am doing the 3-day trial membership, and so far I am not impressed. There are not enough spring collars to go around, nor are there ample 5lb Olympic plates. (I noticed there was a shortage of 2.5lb plates, too.) If you know anything about progressive weight training, then you know this is unacceptable. I have got two days remaining on my pass. I sincerely hope I will be able to revise this review for the better. This will require an immediate purchase on their part, of ample 5 and 2.5 lb plates, as well as Olympic collars. I am not optimistic, but you never know.

***Another update: still no action taken. Each honest review receives the same response from 24 Hour. To contact them so they can learn to do better. I contacted them, and have received no response. How about just do better, 24 Hour Fitness. You know the issues. Show respect for your paying members and clean/sanitize your cesspool of a gym.

***update: zero action has been taken.

Least favorite 24 hr. The fact that it is close, actually 24 hrs and the staff is always friendly is the only reason it's getting 2 stars instead of 1.

The locker room and showers have not been clean since I've been going for about a month now.

The seats and boards in the sauna slide all over and I've watched many people including myself almost fall just getting up. One day the owner was in the sauna and someone asked about the drain that is always clogged with disgusting brown water overflowing and he said someone else messed up part of the plumbing and it would be too expensive to fix so it's just how it is.

The hot tub has also been down for almost a month now when I was told it would be fixed in about 2 weeks.

Overall I'd say unless it's just convenient for the moment, I'd personally go to another location over this one

Fair warning to anyone wanting to join this gym: since I’ve been coming, I’ve counted no less than 6 people with no shoes OR socks on walking around. Beyond the other gross things about this gym (the bathrooms are straight up nasty with water and hair all over the floors, the overall stench of the actual machines, the layer of dust and dead skin cells piling up everywhere), this is truly the actual safety hazard everyone should know about. Good luck not catching a fungal infection since old men’s sweaty bare feet are touching the floors, mats, and machines. Not even socks - BARE FEET.

Fyi people keep whining about stuff getting stolen out of their lockers but half of the lockers being used don’t even have locks on them. If people really cared then you’d have a lock on your locker otherwise it’s a free for all and people are absolutely reckless about it.

Honestly this place sucks at 7pm, so many people. People being loud and annoying, holding up machines with their stuff, and grunting profusely as they do weights. People literally talking loud on their phones and getting absolutely triggered and sensitive when you ask them to keep it down.

The people that come here here make this gym insufferable to be at.

I’ve had memberships on and off over the years at this club. This place has so much potential of being an awesome club if they would actually clean it frequently. It just has a layer of filth that could easily be addressed with a wet mop and proactive effort. The desk staff seem like they have plenty of free time on their hands. How about a quick sweep? This club has great steam room but every time I attempt to use it, I just can’t. If they only could spray it down a few times a day? Never see anyone in there as of late. It smells and the floor is dirty. It’s like it’s suffering from a deep bout of depression. I have renewal coming up three months and I won’t renew unless the management actually make cleanliness a high priority. The facility and equipment are great in terms of variety and options. Staff friendly and fellow gym patrons are focused and pleasant. Please hire more cleaning staff and a handyman to fix all the odds and ends around the facility that’s has been neglected.

The cleanliness of the sauna and bathrooms at this gym is honestly disappointing. The sauna often feels neglected, with a musty smell lingering, and the floors could really use a rinse. The bathrooms are frequently in need of attention, and it wouldn't take much for someone to mop the floors or tidy up now and then. Basic upkeep like this seems to be overlooked, which is frustrating. It wouldn't take much effort to maintain these areas properly, but sadly, that doesn’t seem to happen here.

Owners of this gym are cheap and refuse to replace lost weights, broken equipment, or even run the HVAC system. The top floor where all the free weights, racks, and lifting machines are smells abhorrent. You can smell insane BO around most of the equipment all year around. Most of the commonly used items are frayed and worn, and you'll be lucky to find small weights (5s and 10s) for barbells as they are never replaced once lost/stolen. Two stars because they have a ton of racks.

This facility is filthy. If you’re looking for a sauna or pool, don’t go here. The drain in the sauna is in the wrong place- it’s filthy all the time. There is black mold underneath the benches in the sauna. There’s mildew all over the floor of the pool deck. So gross. Going to change gyms to find a place with a decent sauna. Super disappointed.

I strongly recommend hiring a professional cleaning team for your facilities instead of relying on staff who appear inattentive. The locker room is filthy and poorly maintained. I watched an attendant casually sweeping the floor without care or precision, dragging dirt through large puddles of water that covered the locker room floor. A facility with a pool requires a much higher standard of cleanliness, yet this one falls significantly short. Judging by other reviews, this has been an ongoing issue, and it seems management has made no effort to address it. I cannot recommend this club to anyone who plans to use the locker room.

I’m sad to say that there is very little good to say about this gym. Except for the manager, their staff is unfriendly and even rude. Even though it’s 24h of fitness, their pool lanes are taken from 9-10 am almost every day. Someone has reserved them… so we can’t see it in the app. But good for me, there are 23 other hours in the day. Well no, not for a hard working mom of 2 young children!

Also the equipment selection is poor, there are way too many of some and way too little of others. When feedback about this is given, the rudeness about it just not acceptable.

And to end with the worse : the showers! Full of mold everywhere. Black mold. On the shower sides, windows, AC vents,…

This was the last time I tried this. Sure it’s cheap, but if you can’t do what you want 75% of the time, it’s not worth it!

You lost a client, but I doubt that you even care.

I joined this club mostly for the pool and sauna. I noticed after the first few weeks that the locker rooms are rarely cleaned, there is always hair and trash on the floors day after day. The hot and steam saunas are like petrie dishes, they are SO dirty. Gym members go from their cardio workouts in full gym clothes and shoes to the saunas and they are so gross, and never appear to be cleaned. After a few weeks of swimming 2-3 times a week I started to get painful sinusitis after each swim and this went away after I stopped going there. I can only imagine how dirty the pool water is and they cover it up with mass amounts of chlorine--likely causing the sinus pain. I wrote my concerns to the manager and they basically said they can't afford cleaning and cannot monitor the use of the saunas and would not be doing anything to fix the sanitation issues. This place is a health hazard, do not waste your money or risk your health!

UPDATE: 6 months later, NO change or improvement in air quality. Their central air system doesn't even work!

The most awful gym I've ever been to! There are no windows that open and no fresh air in the whole building! The air is so polluted and toxic inside, I literally feel like I'm suffocating during my workout. It's a genuine health hazard. Other than the horrible stale micro plastic and volatile organic compound polluted air, it's a comprehensive gym with lots of equipment and amenities. And the staff is really nice. But if you actually care about your health, dear God, DO NOT workout here! Until they install industrial HEPA filters and run them 24/7 or install windows that actually open for fresh air, then it'd probably be okay.

The short red-headed guy that works at the front has been very unpleasant to me on several occasions to the point that I am not returning and cancelling my membership.
I brought in a friend for a free 3-day guest pass and he defensively says, “Well is your friend actually planning to sign up afterward?” and I responded, “Well he has to try it out first to know.” The guest pass states nothing about serious inquiries only/must sign up after. Not to mention I have advocated for 5 other friends and family members to sign up over the years. He has been rude and condescending to me ever since this interaction.
On November 6th I tried to sign in with my QR code, but since the reception is subpar and my phone wasn’t loading, I asked if he could manually check me in. He was ON HIS PHONE mind you. He reluctantly checks me in and then says, “There’s a finger scanner right there by the way.” MY FINGER IS CURRENTLY BANDAGED WITH STITCHES. I showed him my injured finger, and he says in a very belittling tone, “You can use your other finger, that’s why you scan both when you sign up.” I signed up 5 years ago first off, how would I remember that? Secondly, can you just sign me in and not make it a big deal and throw jabs at me when you were literally on your phone? I can’t fathom treating your customers this way.

The location is convenient and the only one close to my house so it’s really a shame that this staff member is consistently rude to me to the point that I feel uncomfortable going in. Switching to Planet.

Luckily I broke a sweat waiting because as others have said it was really hot in the gym. Also, the locker room/showers were nasty so I don’t think I’m missing much passing up this location.

The employees are nice, and it's open 24 hours. That's it for the good. Worst of all is how hot they keep it. This is the one thing that makes me feel like I need to change gyms. It is not a temporary problem. These pictures of their 2nd floor thermostats were taken weeks apart, and they do nothing about it. There are no fans either. You are not doing your best workout in 80 degrees with no breeze. My workouts have suffered. Aside from that, when machines break, they take a very long time to fix them. They run out of paper towels a lot. They even removed some paper towels dispensers a while back - including the one in the restroom. They are being cheap, and it shows.

Made the switch from Planet Fitness to 24hour. I assumed it would be a really nice facility for the price of membership, but 95% of the equipment I attempted to use was broken or falling apart. Peeling handles that are hard to hold onto ir completely missing handles with notes on the machine claiming it's still usable, and machines not locking into place! Some of these machines should be a safety concern if they can't lock! This location needs serious help. Staff was very polite though!

The staff were kind so I gave it 2 stars. This facility is a safety hazard & likely needs to be closed. There’s no way it will pass any kind of inspection. What I saw in the locker room and pool was gross and also just plain weird. I saw no less than 10 people walk into the pool are with their outdoors shoes on. All of them walked into the saunas in FULL gym attire, including shoes, no shower before. This is just how they conduct the sauna here- anyone can walk in barefoot or with outdoors shoes. What?!
One man went from the sauna in his gym clothes directly to the hot tub, no shower. Another guy went back and forth *several times* fully clothed from the dry sauna to the work out area DRENCHED from head to toe in sweat using the equipment then going back to the sauna fully clothed for a bit. He was just working out like that as if it was a totally normal gym routine. I saw a man standing in the dry sauna fully dressed, even wearing jeans, and wearing a large backpack. What!?!!? You are not supposed to wear sneakers in a sauna, others are going in barefoot. Why are these people doing this??
The floor in the pool area had mold and mildew. Dust and grime occupied corners and ledges. Every glass surface was opaque from filth. Large thick patches of rust covered most metal surfaces.
The locker room was an actual 80s horror film- slime, blobs, gunk, muck, hair balls, dust balls, everything was alive, in a not good way. That kind of muck and dust balls only accumulate over weeks and months of neglect. I can’t believe this is an actual real place that exists.

Very thankful for this gym, I go almost every day. It’s usually busy and seems like there are a lot of members. Over the last few months I’ve noticed an increase in broken/damaged equipment as well as unsanitary conditions around the pool, sauna, locker room area. I used to be a huge fan of this location and recommended it to people, but in the last year or so things have gone downhill.
Many of the weight machines are broken and have not been fixed or replaced. The lap pool has rust in it and the divider is broken and tied to a bench. The shower before entering the pool is broken and completely removed from the wall. The hot tub has been broken many times and out of service for months on end. Members can't use the lockers because of break-ins. Cars have been stolen from the lot. I have had patience with most of this issues for a while, but things just keep getting worse.

Most of the staff here is very nice. But recently I had a bad experience. I dropped my hat when I was there (we can't use the lockers because of break ins and have to carry all our stuff around while we work out) and asked if it was in lost and found. When it wasn't there because someone took it, the staff member passive-aggressively lectured me that there are houseless people who are cold and needed my hat. As someone who used to work in customer service, this was completely uncalled for. (Also, they don't know that a homeless person took it - it was needlessly applying politics on the situation.) Employees shouldn't lecture members to be better, considering all the problems here *and* the fact that they just raised prices.

Such a big deal! He knows his stuff and he'll be a personal trainer soon so maybe in a year I'll look into muscle building mastery from him sense he's a body builder in training yet. Yay for new beginnings. I'll miss my other gym but everyone is mindful it here and I'm happy with the class selection along with the sign up fees and options to tailor my needs. I'm a stickler so I'm happy I finally went in to check on the place.. They also have a cleaning staff which is a bonus because I'm a germaphobe and saw the hairs trailing from the female parts shower area (wear flop flops)! I enjoy coming here for many reasons: convenient location, good customer service (inconsistent), consistently good working weight equipment / machines, and the layout of the gym. I understand that the owner has to be objective in their response to customer reviews online (I’m sure I’ll even get a generic response - if that), but when the comments are consistent in terms of cleanliness, you’d hope to see improvements over time; however, nothing has changed much. This place needs a DEEP CLEANING which is my top, and really only issue (which is why I rated my experience 4 stars).

Other items that I’ve noticed:

Poor lighting in parking lot at night. I’d recommend parking near the entrance of the glass door if you can. If not, bring a flashlight and some mace! Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready - just in case someone wants to run up so you can protect yourself.

The men’s bathroom / locker room needs an air fresher to eliminate poop / musty odor. Ideally, something that’s neutral, but eliminate the smell.

Again, a deep cleaning such as dusting under equipment and machines. Seems like cutting corners is an ongoing theme.

Blow leaves in parking lot - it’s obscuring parking lines.

The customer service seems Inconsistent with greeting guest upon entrance and exiting. Exceptional service goes a long way.

Lastly, it seems to be a lack of rounding such as making sure cleaning stations are stocked with paper and full spray bottles. In addition, making sure that the bathroom has toilet paper and is filled with commode liners. Not sure if this is an overnight third-party managing or the responsibility of the staff, but it should be done daily.

Is it a staffing, budgeting, or training issue?

The gym itself has almost all the equipment I need (even boxing bags) and the location is convenient. It’s best to go at night when no one is there because it’s a very popular spot.

There's no Jacuzzi at this facility. It's ALWAYS not functioning but they always say it's being worked on soon, Just waiting to have it done. Never gives Anymore information as to WHEN twr can use it, just that it's being fixed soon.

THEFT OCCURS HERE ALL DAY AND NIGHT

My locker was broken into, wallet stolen, and credit cards used within 20 min of me starting my workout. My friends car got stolen from their parking lot. My other friend had their stuff stolen. The reviews are riddled with more examples of locker break-ins and car thefts.

They always reply to these reviews and say "We take pride in this...", or "We strive for that..." But nothing ever gets done. They need to hire an on-site security guard to patrol the garage and locker rooms CONSTANTLY, or if 24 Hour Fitness is too cheap to do that, then the manager needs to approve more hours for staff to do it.

STOP GIVING OUR REVIEWS PITY. PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS AND ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING.

Had my bag stolen from the locker room yesterday along with another customer. Someone went along with bolt cutters and cut our locks. 24 hour fitness wasn’t exactly helpful and didn’t do much to alleviate the problem. I don’t feel safe leaving my belongings in the locker room with a lock! I know they aren’t responsible for belongings but you expect a certain level of security…

DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE. This gym is the most scummy disgusting place in portland. If you do not Karen membership the staff they will do their best to scam and squeeze every penny they can off of you. Regular gym staff are either half asleep, on their phones, or straight up rude. Disgusting fountains and amenities. Auto billing nightmares that will make you regret ever providing your credit card info. DONT DO IT.

Everything seemed fine until a pattern of Pilates cancellations showed up over time. On average this instructor cancels 50% of the time on Thursday afternoons and last time, no one notified the app so a room full of students waited and waited and waited and then left frustrated

Always crowded. Full of punk kids after 3pm. Locker room by early afternoon is filthy. I can't figure out how so much hair and garbage coats the floor. Serious. I've belonged to many gyms in the last 40 years and this measures below all of them. From PDX to New York to Costa Rica. The jacuzzi is broken 6 out of 12 months and the jets never work! The Sauna is overcrowded with overeaters that think they are going to burn the pounds off. What is sad is that there are no other gyms of this size in the area. I have to swim laps for my upper back and even the lap pool is crowded. I get by, do my workouts, but never smoothly. Many times I have to wait for a machine in the weightlifting area. I still give it 3 stars because it is better than nothing if you live on the area.

The Good: This gym had a lot of equipment, basketball courts, rooms for classes and a pool. The Bad: The equipment was old and the place felt dirty. I went for the 3 day trial but I decided that even though it was closer to my house I would drive further for a gym that was cleaner. I really wanted to like this place!!

It's gotten cleaner and they've made other improvements and fixed the hot tub and men's locker room bathroom stalls.

Great staff, busy gym. Careful parking here, mine and multiple vehicles were broken into at 830 pm on a Wednesday night. Seems it is targeted frequently
