I really like this studio. It’s small and comfortable and not at all corporate like some other studios. The instructors are great, particularly Kerri, who is super helpful and non-judgemental. I felt comfortable there immediately and I’m happy to have found it!

I honestly have to pinch myself sometimes that I’m able to take classes here. I’m fairly new to Pilates and moving my body in general but I feel like this Body Mechanics is home to some of the most skilled practitioners in town. Every class I’ve taken here has been thoughtful and focused and I always leave feeling a little taller, a little stronger, and that the world is a little more special.

Savannah is awesome! People with hyper-mobile joints have special needs, making us trickier to work with. She does a great job of accommodating our individual needs, as well as encourages us to do more. I have been attending this class for 5 months and have seen steady improvement in reduced joint pain and increased muscle strength.

The studio has a very friendly vibe and it’s absolutely lovely.

Morgan, my instructor, is skilled, upbeat and, extremely importantly, kind.

She will meet you where you are with no judgment and with enthusiasm - from super beginner (me) to elite athletes.

Morgan is helping me to get stronger step by step - I value that a lot!

You are safe there and you get results - highly recommended.

I love my private Pilates sessions with Morgan. She's a great teacher – knowledgeable, encouraging, funny – and really seems to be "in tune" with what's going on with me and my body. I heartily recommend that you sign up for her Pilates or bodywork sessions.

At 69 years old, I’m brand new to pilates. I signed up for Jamie’s Power/Flow class at Body Mechanics and was instantly hooked. Every class is a serious workout, yet Jamie makes it completely fresh and fun each time. I’ve been attending weekly for 3 months now and love it! Highly recommend Body Mechanics.

Shelly was a great instructor! I’ve been suffering from chronic back pain, and I noted improvement after just one session. She is very knowledgeable about the body, and we were able to find exercises that didn’t aggravate the pain. I had to discontinue my work with her as I’m moving out-of-state, and she even offered to help me find/vet a new Pilates studio in my new town. Thanks for everything, Shelly!

I have been going to Body Mechanics from the beginning. Mandy has always done a great job of having a comfortable studio with top notch instructors. I usually do the private or dual sessions and the instructors are able to provide us challenging workouts. The instructors are also friendly and a joy to work with.

Both the teaching and atmosphere at this studio are top notch. I have lots of chronic issues (and poor proprioception) from lifelong hyper-mobility and really appreciate the deep understanding of anatomy and physiology here as well as absolute attention to detail. I know if I'm out of line or using the wrong muscles to do something I'm going to be lovingly and supportively corrected. Regular classes here have been a very helpful addition in my quest for better body mechanics and reduced pain....there's also plenty of laughter:)

I love this studio. Warm, welcoming people, both instructors and classmates which is a testament to the owner Mandy. I have fragilities that are honored by the teachers, who are fun and funny and always find ways to make exercises work for me. I leave classes feeling physically stronger and mentally uplifted. I really can't say enough positive things about this studio. Shout out to Jo and Savannah, Jamie, Sarah and Sara- love them all.

A solid remedy to the current doozie of a time is a massage from Jay. I had a full-body massage with extra attention paid to an old injury and haven't been this relaxed in months. I felt safe and at ease throughout and would absolutely recommend him.

Jay is a fantastic massage therapist. I'm quite picky when it comes to bodywork, as my body has been through a lot of injury over the years. Jay is kind, attentive, offers a client centered approach (he listens) and is very knowledgeable about integrating different techniques to achieve the best results.

My body feels well worked, without being painful, after an intense 90 minute session focusing on my areas of need.

I've had many, many massages over the years, and Jay is at the top of his game. Look no farther, you have found a master massage therapist.

Mandy and the crew at Body Mechanics, are all so knowledgeable and trained in the workings of the human body. I’ve been to a lot of Pilates classes and studios and have found Mandy to be so spot on with what my body needs. I started with private sessions 2 years ago, and found that the pain in by back was gone after our sessions. I have since seen many others in the studio and have also worked in pairs. Each time I go in, Mandy checks in on my body and then focuses on how to re-align my bodies’ movement patterns that are not efficient, always leaving me feeling better than when I arrived. Mandy also has “magic hands,” as I call them. Her energy work is nothing short of amazing. Her practice is effective and efficient. Go check out Body Mechanics!

I feel so blessed to be working with Mandy. She moves me through what feels like decades of stuff in few sessions.
Before my first energy session I noticed that I had a lot of fear as well as a lot of negative images about the dis-workings of my body internalized from both from the medical industry as well as natural healers. My first session with her and that reversed 180 as she took me instead to the frontiers of my own power and showed me the beauty and perfect functioning of my body. Subsequent sessions went to deeper, older self-limiting ideas and energetic agreements to gently tease them out and begin to release them. I can’t imagine doing this depth of work without her. I feel she is helping to re-pattern me so that I can move towards my greatest goals with love and self compassion.

Recently I started seeing her for Pilates and movement. This has been a beautiful transition for me and another perfect example of her depth of knowledge of the working of the body and its energy. She’s helping me release some movement-patterns that are creating stiffness and pain. Every time I have a session I feel like I’m coming home to my body. She’s amazing. I really recommend seeing her in one capacity or another.

I believe I would have worked with Mandy eventually but I’m thankful for the events in my life that brought me to her now. The work she does is rare and palpable. She is a gift.

Recently, I’ve started getting massages from Jay. The first time I went in I was in a lot of pain with a lower back injury. I came out feeling significantly better and only continued to improve over the next couple of days. He listens to your symptoms and knows anatomy well enough to pinpoint exactly which muscles need to be addressed to make you feel better. On top of that his massages are relaxing and restorative, he has a good sense of humor and he drops pearls of wisdom along the way. I’m happy to have found this magical healing couple.

We have been part of the Body Mechanics Community since it's early days. This is an incredible community of practitioners - Pilates, Chiropractic, Aesthetics, Massage, Energy Work. We have been pleased with every service we have used here. We attend private Pilates lessons weekly - which is a little retreat for the body and soul. We've had a few instructors over the years - and there is always a kind hand-off between instructors ensuring a good match. Body Mechanics feels like home. Family friendly, kind, informed by the client's needs.

The studio is a special place to be a part of!!!!! The owner and teachers are personable, knowledgeable and give great classes.

I have recommend this studio to many because I enjoy it that much.

I can't imagine life without Body Mechanics. I've been going weekly for roughly 10 years to help work through some injures and keep me limber and strong. Mandy respects my injures and limitations and doesn't have me "push through them" like other trainers might. Even when I don't feel like going, I always walk out feeling refreshed and renewed and an inch or so taller.

Besides pilates, Mandy's energy work is extraordinary. The longer I am a client of Body Mechanics, the more I learn about my body, my self, and how to unlock patterns and understand the relationship between body, mind, and spirit.

Some time ago I fell and fractured my wrist. I wanted to improve my balance and started working with Jay to learn and practice Tai’ Chi. Jay is infinitely patient and willing to go at my pace. He effectively explains and demonstrates each movement, and he seems to know when I am ready to learn a new concept, or a when to explore a known move from a different perspective. I appreciate how he pays attention and encourages me to more fully explore what I have learned. Jay’s explanation of the philosophy and history of tai’ chi as a martial art have also helped me learn the movements. Now my balance and proprioception has been utterly transformed in everyday activities. I am aware of how I carry myself, what my posture is, and how I am moving through space.

He is also a great massage therapist! I recommend him.

Adriana's class transports you from the fast paced world into a place of calm and peace. Her work is a thoughtful blend of various movement modalities from her years of teaching experience, yet it's always about the client. She will adapt from the most beginning student to someone with many years of experience. I've had neck and shoulder issues for years and Adriana's keen eye and experience helped me heal and gain strength better than any other PT or Pilates instructor I've worked with. Beyond mat work, her slow continuous movement sitting on the ball or standing connects and aligns you from head to toe in a smooth and mind/body way. I will always emerge from an Adriana class feeling refreshed and strong. The atmosphere of the Body Mechanics studio is also friendly and calm.

I found Body Mechanics through the MINDBODY app, and really liked their straightforwardness (no sneaky membership tactics and clear pricing). Once I got there, I was blown away by how approachable, welcoming and knowledgeable everyone I met was.

I booked the private intro package and was HOOKED. After the first session I was feeling muscles I never knew existed in my back, and felt my bad posture starting to unlock itself. They keep the class sizes small and the instructors work with everyone individually to provide corrections or modifications as you need them and cater to everyone’s fitness level. Every class flies by and I’ve never been to an exercise class where you feel equally stretched out AND worked out. Mandy & Solara are amazing women- they will make you hurt so good, in the most loving ways.

Body Mechanics is a great studio. The teachers are incredibly knowledgable and highly trained. I had chronic, debilitating back problems for years, but taking regular classes and individual sessions at Body Mechanics has completely turned that around. I am pain free now and able to lift and do heavy chores. This is not your "exercisey" type of Pliates like I'd experienced at a gym -- it is very rehabilitative and focused. I have experienced way more results from this work than from all the physical therapy sessions I have had over the years. Nobuko is my go-to teacher. She is amazing. All the other teachers are fantastic too. I can't say enough about how great this place is.

Have you ever been 65 years old yet? I have, and that has meant years of experiences of (usually) well-meaning but flaky, or semi-good healers. Often the most healing has been just lying on someone's table and they don't get in the way too much.
Imagine one day, one more trusted friend says "You've got to try X" and without all that much optimism you give it one more try. Well if X = Mandy, on that day you say aloud to her (because you can't contain it) "Oh my God, you are the real deal."
And you send 6 friends (so far) to Mandy and they all (including the skeptics) say some version of "Oh my God, Mandy is the real deal."
I can't spell it out for you much clearer than that. Except to say that in addition, Mandy is delightful and is as happy to see you clear out your cobwebs and nooses and black holes as you are.
