Coach Chris is the best!! Not only does he put on a killer class, but I did some personal training before my wedding and never felt better! Definitely recommend taking a class and checking it out!

Boxing Oasis is an incredible gem in the community, and much of its success is because of the passion and dedication of its owner, Chris. His commitment to creating a welcoming, disciplined, and growth-focused environment sets this gym apart from the rest.

From the moment you walk in, you can feel the energy and purpose he’s built here. Chris is not just knowledgeable about boxing—he genuinely cares about developing people. Whether you’re a beginner learning the basics or a seasoned fighter looking to sharpen your skills, he meets you where you are and pushes you to become better every day.

What makes Boxing Oasis truly special is the atmosphere: respectful, motivating, and supportive. Chris has managed to foster a space where people feel both challenged and encouraged. His professionalism, work ethic, and vision are impressive, and it’s clear he’s building something meaningful and long-lasting.

If you're looking for a place to train, grow, and be inspired, Boxing Oasis and Chris are the real deal. I’m excited to see how far he takes this—because this is only the beginning.

’ve known my brother Coach Chris for six years, and I’ve seen his dedication, passion, and heart for helping people through boxing. Even though I’m in Florida and he’s opening his gym out in Oregon, I’ll always support him — from here and when I’m there. He’s built this from the ground up, and if you’re in the area, go show him some love and check out his new gym 🥊 Shout Out to Boxing Oasis 🐢 (I love the turtle btw)

If you have been looking for an intimate boxing gym, with great coaching and a little bit of fun boxing oasis is the place to be. Chris is by far one of the most talented and dedicated coaches in Portland. Even if you’re new to the sport this is a great outlet and helped me feel safer as a woman protecting myself.

Undeniably one of the biggest game changers in achieving my goals was starting to take coaching with the owner Chris. The gym is a great vibe and the people who attend that ive met are incredible and clearly build a great and supportive community. I could not recommend it more to get in touch and sign up for some of the best cardio boxing classes or 1 on 1 coaching out here.

Chris at Boxing Oasis is an amazing coach! I worked with him at a previous gym for a while when I was getting back into boxing at 50 years old…he takes the time to learn your strengths and weaknesses, and then be builds on what you need. He’s a very solid guy, and he’s a very talented fighter….if you’re looking to get in shape and learn the sport, he’s your guy! And if you’re looking to level up and start competing, he’ll get you there. Highly recommend!

This place is really special and so is the Owner/Coach there, Chris. The cardio classes can’t be beat, and Chris really knows what he’s doing as a coach. He’s approachable and warm and fun, but also someone you can respect and admire. The community he has built here works hard & pushes each other—but they are also awesome at taking care of each other and taking care of anyone new coming in. You’ll feel welcome, get a great workout and learn something EVERY class!!

Plus, he always has good music.

Honestly I’m pretty bad at taking instruction and I’m one of the least coordinated people I know, but I really have learned a lot here. I feel like even in just a couple sessions I am more confident and chris really makes sure to correct me as I go so I learn how to do things the right way instead of fumbling through it all. Would strongly recommend if you are experienced or want to try something new!
