It’s great for swimming classes. The facility is well maintained and the deeper end of the pool is available for practicing treading. The coaches are knowledgeable and their focus on technique is pretty impressive. My experience was with adult swimming classes and I highly recommend.

My daughter (and I) love British Swim school She just started in last June at the Starfish level and through the patient teachers at British Swim, she's now at Turtle 1 level. My daughter did not like water in her face or past her ears and we've come SO far thanks to the skilled , patient teachers who really know how to work with kids to make them feel so safe and comfortable in the water. Safety was #1 for us and just making sure she wasn't afraid to get her whole head wet. We couldn't be more pleased. I've recommended many friends to British Swim school and they've all loved it too. We're very very happy with her progress and every instructor has been a true rock star.

My granddaughter and I have enjoyed our relationship with the British Swim School these past several months. Jisha has been consistently pleasant, and flexible with schedule changes when needed. Sophie fully engages with the instructors and other children during the lessons. She particularly likes the playful style that Brynn uses in her sessions.

I highly recommend British Swim School for swimming lessons. Susan is excellent with children, and I would suggest her for any swim instruction. The staff at BSS is incredibly friendly, and scheduling or adjusting classes is always a breeze.

Most importantly, multiple signs that they are not equipped to deal with children with clinical anxiety.

Our child came home saying she felt embarrassed and hates swimming after it being one of her favorite activities for a number of years.

Same routine every week until you master a specific set of 5-6 skills (except mastery is subject to interpretation based on instructor) and kiddo has also expressed frustration about being able to do ANYTHING different while it takes her longer to learn the last 1-2 skills. I can’t blame her.
She was working on strokes, etc at Emler-none of that here. We were excited that they focused on floating and water safety, but then it became NOTHING ELSE.

Really disappointed with what we hoped would be a positive learning and development space.
Hillsboro location seems to be slightly more constructive coaching (or maybe just one coach who was awesome) so may try that if we don’t head for some place entirely different.

We switched over swim schools and we are pleased with the way the swim teachers work with their swimmers. It’s making swimming fun again! Definitely recommend others to try it out.

The swim instructors are wonderful and it makes it easy to take kids to pool. My two kids always enjoy their time during the lesions. They really enjoy the active play in the water as it keeps it interesting and fun.

We've had a wonderful experience with British Swim School! After only a few weeks of lessons, our child is SO much more confident in the water. The instructors are calm and consistent, but also playful and fun with the children. It's a positive learning environment, which makes such a difference for young children. Our child looks forward to lessons each week, and we cannot thank the British Swim School team enough for all that they do!

Outstanding swim lessons from friendly people.

It has been tough finding swim lessons and my wife heard good things about this school so we gave it a shot.

Our 5 year-old absolutely loves it.
