The studio is nice, though the entry and cubby are is a bit cramped. There is a parking garage right next to it that is free to use, so don't park across the street like I did, it took me 5 minutes to cross!

Happy birthday to the beauty that checked me in at the reception desk. She was so kind and we had a lovely chat about being LA natives. The class was challenging, which I enjoyed. At times it felt a bit frantic, which isn’t my desired tempo, but everyone has their preference. Overall, it was a fun class for me while visiting from out of state.

From the little classes I have been too, Josephine’s class and Soma’s is my favorite! I love how they include the reformer board for arms and legs and also the spring board for arms and legs. I get a full body workout I love the reformer board and the spring board :) I only give a 4 star because of the pricing it is a bit steeeeeeeeeeep but everyone at this location is super nice and helpful. The ladies at the front desk are also super amazing!!!!!!

I absolutely loved my time at this studio. Huge shoutout to the manager Megan here who brings great energy and is always so helpful. She knows what she’s doing and she puts so much effort into the community and it doesn’t go unnoticed. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and always made me feel welcome. The classes are both challenging and fun, and I noticed real improvements in my strength and posture. The staff truly care about their members and create such a supportive, uplifting environment.
I can’t recommend this studio enough to anyone considering joining. Thank you for everything!

I absolutely love Club Pilates Grant Park!
Lily’s Cardio Sculpt on Mondays is absolute fire—amazing playlist and keeps your heart rate up the whole time. Sharon’s 1.5 and Level 2 Flow classes are always different, working a ton of muscles, keeping you guessing, and leaving you feeling strong and accomplished. Sarah’s classes are challenging, fun, and collaborative—I take everything from Control to Cardio to Suspend to Flow, and she always gives ways to step up or push yourself.
Between these three, I rarely stray from my weekly schedule—they’re all fantastic, and I feel so lucky to have such talented instructors at Club Pilates Grant Park!

I am not at all one of the type of people that leaves a bad review, but I go to workout classes for three things to have a fun time with good music and energy, to have easy to follow and easily heard instructions, and a hard workout that pushes me beyond what I’m able to do on my own. This class did not check any of those boxes.
I have gone to Pilates before and many other types of workout classes for 5 plus years. But in this class I didn’t even break a sweat. It was extremely easy. It was very hard to understand what we should be doing with very little to no visual aid and no microphone on the instructor so when they walked away from you, you can’t hear.
The class jumped around with at most 5 reps per movement so you didn’t even get a chance to focus on one move or feel the burn you were meant to. I left the class confused and with little to no sweat.

I've been attending classes here for 7 months, and although it's expensive, it's more affordable than other Pilates classes. Generally speaking, I enjoy the workouts... IF YOU CAN GET IN.
However, over the last WEEK I've had 3 classes canceled by the studio at the last minute. 12 hours cancellation notice seems to be the norm, but today's cancellation happened with less than 2 hours notice.
These classes are tough to book, especially if you have to fit them into a work/family schedule - so when one is booked even 24 hours out, there's a small chance of finding a replacement class.
It's especially frustrating that these cancellations are happening more frequently now, as the club has a policy of charging members who cancel - even if you pay for an unlimited membership.

This is a slightly more affordable way to do reform Pilates, but the classes vary a bit by instructor when it comes to quality and atmosphere. I have trouble booking with my favorite teachers, Cecie Salazar and Lily, because of my work schedule and I’m left having to take classes from teachers that I would never pick if they were my full-time instructor. With a twice-weekly membership, it basically breaks down to $25/class… but you’re in there with 10 or so other people and some instructors don’t walk up and down consistently to make sure you’re doing it right. Cecie does! Sarah and Lily are also exceptional. I’ve been going there for about a year and it works for me. Their system allows for a lot of flexibility with class scheduling, which I find really helpful, and you generally get into the classes you waitlist for, although I’ve gotten a notice an hour or so before the class saying I’m in and having been able to attend because I finally went ahead and made other plans… but you can’t cancel if you’re inside a 12-hour window, so… boop. There goes $25. In all, it’s a pleasant environment with a good variety of knowledgeable teachers. Some are better than others, but the flexibility makes it work for my life and the machines are in excellent condition.

I like all the other Club Pilates locations but this NE Broadway location is ridiculous. They have been canceling classes and all they do is send you an email! And I don't check my email every hour! (Plus the notice looks just like when you cancel a class yourself, in the app! SO THEY DON'T STAND OUT!) I WILL BE CONTACTING THEIR HEADQUARTERS! These cancellations have messed my day up several times now! I need a phone call or a text or a BOLD RED Email that a class has been cancelled! Not a discreet camouflaged email that looks just like all the rest!
I have a very tight schedule and I can't afford the time to drive 32 mins to a location, just to drive back again!! NOT OKAY!!

Charging $20 for cancellation is wild. If you are 6min late you can’t go in the class and you get charged. Honestly see no results and all my hard earned money go to waste. I regret signing up. If you have a lot of money to throw away, sign up. I’m so frustrated with their system.

Super disappointed with this business. I went here for 4 months and while I enjoyed the classes, my experience with the booking/membership really soured my overall feeling of the company.
I signed up for 4 classes per month, which permits you to book “30 days in advance.” Right after signing up, I logged into the app and was excited to start registering for classes. Lots were full, but I figured the following month would be fine because I can book 30 days in advance - wrong!
Let’s say your billing cycle is the 1st of the month. Once you are billed, you can then book your 4 credits (or whatever plan you have signed up for). So June 1st, for example, you can book June 1st-30th, but in order to book for July 1st, you have to wait until your payment for that month goes through, so good luck getting a class on July 1st, because you can’t book until the day of.
Also, if you are on a waitlist for a class, it holds one of your credits, so if you are waitlisted and never get in, you can’t book another class until that class date passes. If you don’t get in, your credit is released and you can THEN book another class or more likely enter another waitlist. At the end of the month if you didn’t use your credits, you lose them.
Classes are fully booked all the time until the cancellation period 12 hours before. So you will be on a waitlist for a 10am class and have to check at 10pm to see if you can go tomorrow.
They have unlimited memberships so plenty of members overbook and then drop at the last minute.
I had classes cancelled on me multiple times in the same week.
When I first joined they only offered Level 1 and Level 1.5 - the Level 1 classes are not effective for me. I was excited to see they opened up Level 2 classes a little over a month ago. I signed up and was waitlisted. I finally got a spot and then the day before the class, they dropped me from the class citing that I need pre approval from an instructor to register for Level 2. Maybe don’t let members sign up for that waitlist then? I wasted weeks on the waitlist for that class.
They have a super nice water filter system that has amazing water but it was broken for over two weeks (or longer, haven’t been back since).
There is no way to cancel your membership through the app. I was out of town for 3 weeks and when I was back in town, I asked to cancel my membership at the front desk and they said the only way to cancel my membership was through email.
You have to cancel 30 days ahead, so once you are ready to cancel you have to keep going for an entire month (or two depending on the date). I emailed explaining the situation that it was difficult to figure out how to cancel and I received a generic reply that made it clear no one actually read my email.
This place is a short walk from my house and I was really hoping this would work out for the long run for me. I really wanted to like it and it just went downhill fast from day one for me.

Don’t do Pilates. It’s a trend with no results. Just go to the gym. This doesn’t build any muscle and is expensive for what it is, then when you try to cancel, you have to give a 30 day notice. I’m selling my plasma to pay off my balance, so instead of becoming healthier
from Pilates I’m loosing health instead.

Just left my “free trial” class and I feel so miffed. I’d like to preface that Ayla and Lani (sp?) were great and this isn’t based on their ability or anything. Don’t be fooled, the facility is gorgeous. It’s the actual business practices that are bogus. I signed up for my “free” trial class as I’ve never done Pilates but my SIL swears by it (in LA). I show up, and suddenly am out $ before the class even begins because apparently I needed to bring grip socks?! Well, I think “ok, no problem buying some my grip socks at home were like $7. Not a big deal” — THINK AGAIN. Charged me $20 for a pair of socks that they gave ZERO notice that I needed to bring. It just felt absolutely slimy that they’d lure people in for a trial class while not giving any notice they’d need special equipment or to BUY their socks with 0 price tags listed until you’re run up and awaiting class to start.
Called my mom to vent on the way home and without even saying the studio name she IMMEDIATELY replied, “Club Pilates? Yeah, I could’ve given you a heads up. They did that to me too.”
$20 isn’t going to put me out, but I will not be giving money to a studio who uses manipulative business practices like that.

I have loved my first month at Club Pilates. My favorite instructor is Ayla. She is energetic, nice and loud (which a lot of people appreciate because sometimes with the echo in the room it can be hard to hear instructions), and keeps my energy flowing in the class with her enthusiasm. She's also the hardest and I'm always feeling it after her workouts. I love/hate her for that ♡ Would love to see her scheduled more often as currently she's only Friday/Saturday. Also if she leaves to start her own studio, I'd follow. She deserves promotions and raises. My other favorite instructor is Sharon. She comes across as very genuine and easy going, but don't let that fool you. She gives a great workout! Wish she taught more often! I'm always trying to schedule Ayla, and Sharon's classes! Also, I wish I could respond to the people giving this place a poor review because I've been going 1.5 months now and have only not gotten into 2 classes. When that happens they've called me when there was an opening in a later class that I was able to take. Yes there's always waitlists, but its like a 90% chance you'll get in. It also helps if you have unlimited because you can book further out.

Terrible, terrible service. Do not sign up. It’s a trap and there are not enough spots in the classes. You have to book a MINIMUM of 1-2 weeks ahead to get into a class, yet intro classes are ALWAYS available. How am I supposed to use up my 8 classes in 4 weeks if there are no classes to sign up for? They also refuse to give a refund so you have to open a dispute with your bank. DO NOT sign up for this place. Avoid it like the plague.

What gives? I have signed up for several waitlists but my place in the queue does not budge at all. I’ve been first on the waitlist for a good week on more than one occasion and still not gotten into class. I’m getting the strong feeling that the waitlist is being bypassed by the studio to accommodate the members who complain the loudest about the grossly oversold number of memberships. Otherwise this makes absolutely no sense.

BUYER BEWARE! The classes have long wait-lists and they promise you'll get in, but to my experience so far, that's not the case. They oversold memberships and now there aren't enough classes in the day to handle all the people who signed up. The instruction is barely existent, it's not pilates. With 10 reformers, the instructors don't do much to teach you the basics to safely do pilates.
They aren't responding to my emails to cancel. I haven't been able to get into enough classes to use up my 8 credits a month, so this is a total bait and switch. Going back to a smaller studio with more care given to safely doing pilates exercises.
