I originally met Colin when he was coaching at another CrossFit gym years ago. Always impressed by his coaching, I was so sad when that company went out of business and felt lost as to what would be the next thing I enjoyed. But I never found it, after trying other gyms and types of workouts.

When I found out Colin was opening CrossFit The Way, I knew it was exactly what I had been hoping for and needing. When I walked in the doors to the new gym, it exceeded my expectations - not just because of Colin's expert coaching, but because the space is huge, easy to move around in, and the community is beyond measure. At 50 it can be humbling to workout after not having moved my body much in the last six years, but at The Way, I never feel intimidated, judged, or like I have to pretend to be something I'm not.

I highly recommend anyone looking for a supportive environment, top-notch coaching, and a welcoming community, to come try a week at The Way - you will be hooked!

CrossFit The Way has truly changed my life. My “why” is to become the best version of myself — physically, mentally, and spiritually — and this gym has been a huge part of that journey. Since joining, I’ve found new purpose, drive, and energy to show up well for my family, lead with strength, and glorify God through the way I live.

The workouts are challenging in the best way — a mix of heavy barbell lifts and conditioning that test not only your body but your mind and heart too. Every session builds discipline, resilience, and confidence that carries into every area of life.

Colin is an incredible coach — knowledgeable, motivating, and intentional with his feedback. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping people grow. The community here is amazing as well — full of people who encourage, push, and celebrate one another like family.

I had all the excuses for not trying CrossFit…I heard about people injuring themselves, I wasn’t sure about the culture, but mostly, I thought I was too out of shape- too far gone- to give it a try. I finally caved to my sister’s repeated pleas for me to try The Way- she insisted it was gonna be life changing…so I signed up for the week free trial and came for my first class. I was in a place of real physical discomfort, chronic back and neck issues, bad mental fog, constant exhaustion, pre-diabetic and I had an inability to fully participate in my life. But I promised myself I would just show up for that first week. I’ve continued to show up and now, 3.5 months in, I’ve gotten my life back. I’m stronger, have lost weight, have no more chronic pain, my energy and stamina are through the roof, and I honestly can’t imagine my life without this place and these people. Coach Colin is an incredible wealth of knowledge on movement, mobility and strength and has the passion and heart of a true teacher. I have learned so much and I’ve never felt pressure to do anything that was beyond my capabilities. The community of people here are incredibly supportive and are just really good, positive humans. If you are on the fence about giving The Way a try, hop on over it and take the opportunity to invest in yourself just by showing up. Then keep on showing up and watch your life transform. No more excuses!

Did a drop in here and the gym was great! Super clean, nice equipment, the people and the coach were welcoming, friendly and awesome. I didn’t have a belt and were doing heavy squats, they had extra belts to use. Solid! I might want to move to Eugene just so I can join the gym and hang out with the 5:30 class group!

I needed to make some changes. I drove past the facility and I thought, if not now, then when? I signed up for the free week trial and was hooked. Coach Colin has created something very special; you should get a piece of this magic. His energy is infectious.

The workouts are challenging yet scalable, with fresh programming that balances strength, conditioning, and mobility. The community fosters encouragement and camaraderie. It is fun to go workout. The equipment and gym are pristine, showing the pride the members and staff have in the gym.

The Way has been a very welcoming environment, that not only is supportive, but lifts you up. Coach Colin motivates members of all fitness levels to reach their goals.

CrossFit The Way in Eugene is truly something special. From day one, I was welcomed into an amazing community filled with support and positivity. Colin is an incredibly knowledgeable coach who makes every workout fun, challenging, and adaptable for all fitness levels. He does a fantastic job helping people work through injuries or limitations while still making sure everyone gets the most out of their training.

I was completely new to CrossFit and lifting when I started with Colin, but now I feel stronger, more confident, and genuinely excited to work out.
