Probably the best CrossFit affiliate/gym I’ve been a part of. The coaching staff is incredible, especially Derek the owner who knows how to scale the workout for the individual when needed. As a larger body person I don’t have to be self conscious of movements for the workout because I know Derek gave me the appropriate scale for the workout. The community is amazing, and they have showers if you need to get clean! This is the place you want to be!

If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. The coaching staff there is incredibly knowledgeable and have a special ability to work with individuals of all backgrounds. The energy is always through the roof. They say that getting t to the gym is the hardest part of working out, I agree with that. But the community Derek and his team have created of CrossFit Train 97333 makes me wish I was going to the gym ALL THE TIME!

I've been going to this gym for four years, and let me tell you this: I wish I had discovered CrossFit earlier in high school. At first, I thought I would be a member for just a year and do my own thing. However, after spending time with other members and the coaches, I've met some of the most outstanding people I've ever known. The fun part of being a CrossFit member is watching others grow and achieve their goals while working out together. That's one of the main reasons I love staying at 97333 Gym rather than just doing my own thing.

Early 2023 I was on a mission to find something to do in the realm of physical fitness. I ended up watching a show called Physical 100 for research into seeing which type (wrestling, running, cycling, etc.) would be the best use of my time, and in the end, I was impressed with the men and women who showed strength, endurance, and stamina without looking off balance physically. All of them had CrossFit in common, so I looked into it.
I read so many stories...some positive and a lot of negative, but I saw the show and pushed forward. The negative was about gyms that didn't care about newbies, lots of injuries, atmosphere was cult-like, etc. There was also mention that naturally, there are gyms out there that are rare gems that give you a sense of community and focus on making sure everyone is included, making sure that you don't hurt yourself, and don't expect you to sign an oath in blood that's eternally binding (joke on the blood part). CrossFit Train 97333 is that rare gem.
The owners go out of their to make everyone feel welcome. The coaches are knowledgeable and personable. The people are open and friendly. The workouts are fun and diverse. The focus is being the best that you can be. It's not about others, but yourself. You push yourself, and do what you can do, and you get cheers even if you are the last one. There's no shame, it's just a grown-up playground where adults can have fun, build your best self, and enjoy good people.
If it wasn't clear in my length text above, I recommend this place for people of all types of from beginning to pro. You don't need to be fit start, that's the point of CrossFit...do what you can until suddenly you're doing more than you ever thought possible.

I've been a member since 2015, and have found the community and the coaches to be top-notch the entire time. The members support each other, without ego - from the most athletic to the least. Across the board, the coaches provide excellent instruction in the movements of the day, and detailed feedback during the WODs. The owner, and main coach, Derek, is very enthusiastic and works diligently to help each of his athletes improve.
I've had to work through some physical complications due to ... age ..., and Derek always manages to find interesting workout modifications that allow me to participate with the class. I appreciate the personal touch he gives each athlete.
I expect to continue working out at this gym for many years to come.

Training here has generated momentous changes to my life all around. I’ve trained for >10 years in various disciplines (rock climbing/rucking, weightlifting, circuit training, running) and have never so frequently experienced those short but powerful moments that force self-evolution in mental and physical capacity. Now moving into my 30’s, I can confidently handle external load at high intensity for more extended periods of time than ever before. I was no slouch in my 20’s either; not to be egotistical about it but I want to emphasize the reality of the coaching you receive here. I am also stoked to have found a sport where I do not have to consistently balance injury risk and progression (man I don’t miss A2 and A3 pulley pain; or knee pain; or back pain.. you get the point) just to achieve some “regular guy” level of physical achievement. In other words, longevity is no longer something I need to question but something that is part of my training regime. Range of member age in the gym is a testament to this fact – I work out next to 50-60+ year old people every day who I hope to emulate once I reach their age. The community here is just incredible and I’m happy to say that I’ve developed lifelong friendships since being here, which tends to be elusive for me. I should note I’ve met a lot of “fitness experts” between my teenage years and now. No other group of coaches or otherwise self-proclaimed virtuosos are more suited to meet the needs of their community than the folks here at CFT. My only regret regarding training in this gym is that one day my professional life will force me to leave it.

I’ve been coming here since August of 2023 after spending 5 years in another fitness space. I’d tried CrossFit other places and never felt like it was the right fit for me until trying this gym and I immediately knew it was for me.
The coaching is very safe, form focused, and they can truly scale any movement or workout for any fitness level, injury status, etc. If you’ve never tried CrossFit because it seems scary or intimidating I totally get it, but know this space isn’t!!

CrossFit Train is the best! The owner programs good, challenging workouts with strength and cardio components. He believes in his members and coaches and thereby creates a supportive community! I’m 56 years old and a member for the past 8 years. It’s exciting to develop the ability to do things like climb ropes and jump on boxes, not to mention lift weights and run a mile. I’m enjoying health and fitness thanks to CrossFit Train!

Crossfit Train is exactly what a Crossfit gym should be! As soon as you do a class you're part of a family, they are an example of how the CF community should be represented.
