Enjoyed the facility when I was able to use it but haven’t in a long time, work out of state and called to cancel and won’t Cancel on the phone, have to send a letter so they get more free money. AI answering service is annoying as all get out! To put it professionally!! Fraud!!!

There are hidden fees, beware.....they charge a 5 dollar late fee even if monthly due is a day late, and in addition to the the monthly dues, you will be slapped with an annual feel of 54.00! Just like a damn credit card! You get all the unwanted soliciting texts about personal training (which is TOTALLY OVERPRICED)but no reminder TEXTS of fees to be deducted from your account.I asked a woman who joined last January and she said she never got charged an annual fee. So Corporate greed is real. I'm just gonna stick with the Y. You know exactly what's up when you work out at the Y. Just remember, get EVERY DISCLOSURE ON PAPER TO BE PRINTED OUT at the time of joining. Don't just stand there and sign your name electronically to every disclosure without asking questions and get the info in your hands before you leave.

Very good customer service (5), very clean (5) great pricing (5), equipment selection is solid for most sane people; lacking a few specialty bars, rings would have been cool, the trx system isn't the same (4.5)

I’ve been to Crunch Fitness a few times now and have really enjoyed the experience! I love the low monthly rate with no contract, the variety of classes and equipment, and the relaxing hydro massage. As a new member, I received an hour of personal training and nutrition guidance for just $10. Caleb was my trainer and he was fantastic—knowledgeable, encouraging, and easy to work with. The staff are always professional and welcoming. It can get busy at times, but overall it’s a great place to work out! 💪
The only small suggestion I have relates to the cleaning setup. The paper towels provided are quite thin and tend to fall apart, and I’ve noticed not many people wiping equipment down, possibly because of that. Switching to reusable rags could make it easier for members to clean equipment properly and help keep the gym even more sanitary.

Was told by manager not to spill a few drips on a $10k price of equipment meanwhile letting any random perp in the club to potentially do harm to my >$10k valued body while scanners were down. Wondering if security cameras even in use. Get your prioritizes straight please. Couldn't even cancel my membership on the way out. Wow

For how many members this gym attracted, it needs more machines.
More pec decs, smith machines and hammer strength presses.
Also, the light is way to bright inside the sauna good luck trying to relax in there.

Horrible business (an outright scam if anything), DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD INFO. They will get you and your whole families info by telling you that you can sign up for some type of deal where if you give them everyone’s card each person only pays 3$ a month and it starts when you come in person. What they DONT mention is that it will start charging you all sorts of inconsistent amounts ranging for 90$ to 130$ regardless if you’ve ever stepped foot in their gym and you CANNOT cancel it unless you hand write a letter to a team requesting for a cancellation.

Its a spaced out gym with plenty equipment to support the high volume of customers *most* the time. Cleanliness is average. Their employees, however, are trained to literally peer pressure you into paying for extra programs & such-- even after saying NO multiple times. and they intentionally dont inform you accurately of fees in attempt to scam. Not a bad gym and cheap, but theyre money hungry dogs, all the way up to management.
edit: changed to 1 star because they will literally rob you of $65 when you already cancelled your membership, EVEN when you tell them you've been unemployed from surgery and haven't been/ cant even go to the gym!!!

I’ve worked out at many gyms over the years, but walking into the Crunch Gym in Medford for the first time made me realize what I’d been missing. This gym is like an oasis in a desert of outdated gym's filled with dated equipment, torn arm pads, and locker rooms that often smell. The ambiance at Crunch is a 10/10, and that’s before even mentioning the staff and trainers.
From the moment you walk in, Jess is at the front desk, welcoming you and always ready to answer any questions. He sets the tone for a great workout, and he was the one who recommended Erik Young to help train my wife. At first, she was a bit nervous, expecting a boot-camp drill sergeant type, but Erik is calm, clear, and effective — he gets his point across without intimidation.
The gym itself is impeccably clean and tidy — almost hospital-level clean, which is mostly thanks to Gabe Whitlaw. Watching Gabe move around the gym, cleaning, vacuuming, and maintaining everything is like watching a human dynamo in action.
In short, a big verbal round of applause to everyone at Crunch Gym. We’re looking forward to our next workout tomorrow!
Best wishes,
Edwin and Sarah Colin

I can’t recommend this gym enough! The staff are super friendly, there’s a lot of equipment, prices are economical, and the hours are great. If you’re on the fence, you can do what I did, and opt for their month-to-month plan, this might be subject to change, however, I pay $15 a month and can cancel anytime. Even though I’ve been there for almost 18 months now, I really enjoy the freedom to cancel if I ever needed to 🤘😎🤘

Just started here a few months ago! All the equipment is nearly brand new. The crew here is kind and approachable. Cleaning is happening all the time. And recently noticed something was broken and within just a few days the repair guys were in and it was fixed. Usually at other gyms things just don't get fixed, or they let it go for months sometimes years. I was impressed how quickly management got it done.

I was trying to cancel because I was temporarily moving. Cancellation must be done in person, not over the phone. There are fees hidden in the middle of the contract that necessitate multiple months of charging, an annual fee, and a 30 day notice of cancellation that effectively is another month of fees. I felt like this wasn't properly explained to me when I signed up, and that the employees tried to hide the extra fees to get me to sign. I won't be returning to Crunch Fitness because of the hassle.
Other than that, the gym had all the machines and weights I wanted, and was a clean environment.

False advertising about no contracts if you have the highest most expensive plan they have. You can sign up online but have to come in and sign paperwork to cancel. I was told my membership was canceled then was charged over $100 until I came in, and was told I didn’t have to sign anything. So they lied and refused to cancel my membership. The people cleaning the gym will crowd you while you are working out which is dangerous. Someone with 300 lbs on your back squatting should not have to tell someone that works there to stay clear of your squat bar while your lifting. Lastly, they don’t give you a grace period for your payment. If for some reason your payment doesn’t work you cannot resubmit it without having to pay a fee.

Great equipment, always clean and maintained. Staff is friendly, and helpful. One thing that would make this gym even better is if the daycare hours were 8AM-8PM instead of closing for 3 hours mid-day. Schools get out at 230, lots of people would work out right after school if the daycare was open.

Spotless gym, a staff member is constantly cleaning! All equipment is well taken care of. Front desk staff welcoming and helpful. Daycare staff attentive and friendly!
One thing I would change is having the daycare open from 8AM-8PM. Or only closed until 230(when school gets out). This would allow more people to come earlier. Lots of hospital staff come to this gym and they don’t work the typical 9-5!

I started at Crunch on day one. It's been a life-changing experience for me. I've lost 30 pounds and gotten in better shape than the previous two years of working out. The weight lifting equipment is great, and the extra conditioning/boxing area has been a needed change in my fitness goals.
I've been friendly with the staff and had gotten to know several who are very personal and helpful. I like to seeing people who work there have a great attitude towards everyone.
24/5 is fine and most people get their time in the gym done everyday. Hopefully if they get more people to join they could stay open later on the weekends or go 24/7. It's literally my only gripe.
Other than that I've made a lot of friends and it's really a big social club for most. I look forward to it every day.

Great gym I'm only leaving 5 starts because the staff is great and I want the gym to improve. I've been a member since before Medford Crunch even opened and I love it. There are some things I don't like and I feel can be improved. The gym is massive and the building only has 1 drinking fountain!! That's not awesome. There definitely needs to be more than one seated hamstring curl as it is always in use. I don't mind only one chest fly machine because there are better ways to target chest. Two pieces of equipment the gym doesn't have that I would love to see in the future are a T-bar row and a place to do weighted dips.

Moved to Talent recently and Crunch was recommended by one of our friends, but told us about some people having billing issues. Husband signed up to check it out, and billing issues are indeed a thing. Husband went to bring it to the manager’s attention but didn’t even want to talk to him about it. Never heard of a manager who was uninterested in keeping customers happy? We made our good faith effort to address the issue and now we have no choice but to take it up with our bank. Good luck!

I was charged a second time for the $54 annual fee, so I emailed Conrad to tell him what happened, and he informed me it would take 7 days for it to process… I told him that I needed it refunded before the end of the month so I wouldn’t get overdrafted with the bank… I also tried to call and follow up with him, but he kept avoiding me and having other people talk to me instead of speaking with me himself… I tried to explain that if the money wasn’t refunded on time, the monthly payment would come out causing me to go into overdraft… they took it out anyway, so I’ll be heading down there today to cancel my membership… this is NOT how you do handle situations like these, and I hope more people see this so they know what kind of business they’re dealing with.

Feedback? Are you asking because you will implement it? If so, why is Crunch asking for a 30-day cancellation notice like if we were renting an apartment? Don’t even bother asking for feedback if change is not gonna happen. Btw, the “you signed a contract” excuse, keep it to yourself.

**WARNING** Conrad the head manager has absolute terrible customer service! Every bad review in here mentions his name, its a wonder how or why crunch fitness has Conrad as the face of that center. Hoping he gains some empathy for parents and their concerns rather than wanting to start a fight. **WARNING*** if you have kids and want to take them here to workout, be aware Conrad himself said there can be 50+ kids to 2 adult ratio... how does that make sense for safety concerns?! oh and the emergency exit does not really lock well so it can be easily pushed open, but don't worry, it is blocked off by a $15 plastic baby gate!

I’ve been to many big box commercial gyms of different brands over the years (Crunch, Planet Fitness, In-Shape) in various cities and this gym has to be among the best. One of the managers, Skyler, offered me a trial & Kyle was a friendly face happy to show me around and answer and equipment questions. Great customer service from them both.
As for the equipment, I pleasantly surprised and exceeded my expectations in most departments, all equipment being very new. I was most impressed by the giant cable setup with about 6 lat pulldowns, 6 cable rows, and 12 single cables around with pull-up bars in between. Ample dumbbells, benches, and squat racks / deadlift pads. Also was impressed with 2 belt-squat machines which you normally only see at more professional weightlifting gyms. Good amount and variety of cardio machines as well. Other than that most equipment was the standard one-of or two-of. Was a little disappointed there was no plate-loaded t-bar row machine like other gyms except Planet Fitness. There is a landmine attachment in one of the functional training areas if you don’t mind going old-school with your rows. I would personally switch 2 of the many squat racks/deadlift pads for an extra smith machine & T-bar row, and add another adjustable bench that isn’t bolted down for the smith. Minor gripe.
I am a night gym-goer so the 24/5 fit really nicely. I could see crowds making it less enjoyable to work out during peak hours with some limited equipment, but it seems to taper off decently by 7pm and by 8 or 9 you have the run of the gym again.
Can’t speak for the sauna, classes, or extras because I mainly go to gyms strictly for the weights. This gym is really hard to beat considering the price. If you need a gym open late-night or early morning, this is probably the best in the area.

Staff is friendly. I like that there are not a ton of windows. I hate it when I feel like a zoo animal at the gym on display for walkers by. Lots of equipment and plenty of free weights. I signed up before the GYM was open. Its been through some up's and downs but its on the up's! It can be busy after 4PM for an hour or two but overall a great place to work out. I personally dont go to the gym to be social or have the staff cater to my feelings. That said I go to work out and its perfect for that. The equipment is new and when something is wrong they fix it! Really sorry to have to write a one star review but this is kind of ridiculous. I joined on Feb 20, 2025, and was told if I referred a friend to join, I would receive a free month. I had two friends join, and was verbally promised the credits would apply to next months cycle. That didn't happen, so I called again and they promised oh, it would be next months. Was charged again. Called today and now all of a sudden they don't offer free months in exchange for referrals, and there was nothing they could do for me. Really disappointed at the response. I will happily change this review if they are willing to make this right. I'm not asking for special treatment, just what was promised to me upon signing up.

Upon switching jobs I canceled my membership. Nobody said anything about charging me for a yearly fee. So I asked crunch and they told me to dispute it with my bank to get it off of there. Not only did I do that but then they disputed back after they told me to dispute the bank and now I end up having to pay the $70. And then I called them in person and some kid on the other line was being very disrespectful and told me that they'll just send it to collections and I'll end up having to pay more money anyway so I should just come in there and pay him. Would never recommend this gym to anyone. One of the most horrible experiences I've ever had. Definitely be going back to planet fitness. I was super excited because it was a new gym and I thought it was going to be an amazing experience turns out it was a nightmare

Conrad the general manager has TERRIBLE customer service! He single handedly forced me out over $10 late fee. I was happy to pay my monthly dues and even a service fee because the payment failed. My bank merged and gave me a new card, which is why the payment failed. He told me I either can pay the late fee and service fee or I will be sent to collections. He wouldn't even accept a partial payment for my typical monthly dues. Conrad needs customer service training or to be fired, I've heard similar complaints from multiple friends of mine. He single handedly lost a good customer. Back to planet fitness I go! Don't go to this gym!

For the size of this gym and how crowded it is, it definitely needs more smith machines and less squat racks. Also, could use another chest fly/rear delt machine. The staff could be more professional and friendly. There are a few that are but most are not and should be trained in better customer service. I had issues with my account more than once and was told to email the manager. I did email him more than once and never got a response back. Extremely unprofessional. When I called to speak to him he supposedly wasn't there and I talked to someone else who was extremely rude to me. After my 1 year "required" year is up I will be changing gyms. There's a lot of improvements needed here

This gym started good and then they oversold cheap membership and now it's a zoo. Tried to cancel by filing a form online and they then said it requires us to come in and give a 30 day notice or mail in a utility bill along with notice. I feel like their practice of making it difficult to cancel is very shady (I logged in online verified my password and still that's not enough to cancel). I will disputing every bank charge moving forward because I will not jump though all their insane hoops just to cancel.

Today I went in to pay my bill. There was an unusual surcharge on it. I tried asking for help from their general manager. Conrad, he proceeds to tell me that he doesn't have time to deal with this. Update 3-9-25
The screens are out of control. It’s 11:49 am and two screens are showing semiprecious jewelry infomercials, three are showing special edition coin infomercials that your grandparents love so much. Two are on Fox News. And three others are showing the same Duke-NC basketball game. This is ridiculous.
This is a decent gym; the staff are friendly. The hydro massage beds are only available in ten minute sessions and there’s no steam room. Steam room would make trips here a lot more worth it, as would 1) a stretching cage and 2) a fully horizontal hydro massage bed.

Crunch Fitness in Medford has redefined the gym experience. With brand-new equipment, a wide variety of machines, and knowledgeable staff, it's easy to see why it's quickly becoming a local favorite. The tanning beds and sauna are perfect for relaxation after a workout. Best of all, the prices are reasonable, making it accessible to everyone. Unlike other gyms (Planet Fitness), Crunch Fitness doesn't have a "lunk alarm," so you can lift weights, grunt, and even drink water from a milk jug without being scolded like a child. It's a gym that truly caters to fitness enthusiasts of all levels.

Management should be training employees to be polite and wish customers a good day as they leave. The lost art of good business practice is disappearing. Gym also has issues charging each month. I guess for 10 bucks a month, this is somewhat expected. Just try to be nice to customers. Regardless of age, gender, skin color, politics, looks, etc. UPDATE: I had to cancel my account due to an overcharge fee(s) being applied to my monthly accounts when they have both my bank account information (routing, acct#...etc) AND my debit which always had funds available for the monthly fee. They would always assure me things were being taken care of. Every month they would charge me late fees. My wife's account has the same banking info and she had no issues with them taking fees out on a monthly basis. I had enough when this issue presented itself multiple times. Absolutely terribly ran and shady. Go elsewhere if you can. I already spoke with numerous people canceling their memberships early due to their ineptitude.

On November 24th, 2024, my 4-year-old son collided with another child while being “supervised” by one of the Crunch Fitness staff members in the daycare. My son had a big bump on his forehead, and the other child had a busted lip. I asked for an ice pack for my son, but none was available, and I was informed they would get some to add to their first aid kit. I do not think it’s appropriate for them to run a childcare without ice packs. A couple of months went by, and I asked them if they had gotten the ice packs after the last incident. They did not. Yesterday (1/28/2025), I asked again and was approached by the General Manager, Conrad Du Toit. He informed me they are not required to provide ice packs while running a daycare. The way he came about it was extremely unprofessional and very unpassionate. I wasn’t trying to even argue with him, so I’m not sure why he was so hostile about my concern. I almost lost my cool; had this happened to his child, I’m sure he would not have handled the situation as well as I did. While I was there, they had 2 adults “watching” 35 kids. I’m not sure how that is legal. It’s really frustrating and concerning they are getting away with things like this.

Got a week long guest pass here and tried it out. Machines were decent but atmosphere was not. I had all of my stuff on the freemotion dual cable tower doing chest flies, and left all my stuff there to fill up my water. When I walked back a personal trainer had moved my stuff out of the way and changed the height and weight of one of the cables for their client and said “we only need it for a few sets”. Being a trainer with that much of a lack of gym etiquette is insane to me. Left a very bad impression on the gym for me. Also not as much of a problem but more smith machines would be a good addition. There was only 1 while I was there and it was always taken.

Signed up during the promotional period, after several months decided to cancel, went in one time to try and ask questions. Staff was short, dismissive and uninterested in talking to clients only amongst themselves. Never went back to work out. You can't cancel on your own, emailed to cancel, no response, called to cancel. Assured it was canceled. Got charged yet again. Called again, said they would make sure the manager read my email this time since he isn't good about it. Responded once, very short, unhelpful. Never responded again. Never addressed my asking for a refund. Do not recommend.

This place appeared really awesome when I first started attending it however, after some circumstances in my personal life changed, I went to cancel it and they would not let me cancel it because it wasn’t 30 day notice for them so therefore I had to pay two months of services even though I did not attend this gym for two months because when I canceled it, it wasn’t within a 30 day period before the next billing cycle so just be aware before you sign up with this gym that they have hidden fees.

Crunch Fitness Medford
I had an unpleasant experience with the general manager at Crunch Fitness Medford that I feel compelled to share. Last night, I walked in with my 13-year-old son and informed the staff that I needed to sign a guest waiver for him. However, before filling out the waiver, I went to the locker (literally 5 feet away) to put my belongings away so I could have my hands free to help him with the process.
When I returned, I was scolded like a child by the general manager. They accused me of not following rules and policies, raised their voice, and even suggested that I should “leave my house earlier” to avoid being in a rush. The tone and attitude were completely unnecessary and unprofessional.
I understand the importance of rules and policies, but this situation could have been handled much better. Instead of talking down to me and raising their voice, a respectful reminder or clarification would have been sufficient. Upper management should lead by example, and this interaction left me feeling disrespected and frustrated.
Overall, this interaction left a bad impression of the management team at Crunch Fitness Medford. I hope the staff receives training on how to communicate with members in a professional and respectful manner.

UPDATE:
The Director reached out personally to apologize on behalf of the situation, and offered to remedy the situation. We have since done so, and I'm very grateful for the speedy and thoughtful follow-up!! THANK YOU!

I signed up during the sign-on special and had a wonderful experience with my trainer. The gym itself is great, though it doesn’t have a pool or a running track, in case that’s something you’re looking for.
However, my boyfriend’s experience has been very different. His trainer showed up half an hour late to their scheduled appointment, and then claimed he was 10 minutes late due to "parking." He arrived with Dutch Bros in hand and was accompanied by a friend. Throughout the session, he made comments about preferring to chat with the girls at the gym, rather than focus on the training session.
Afterward, my boyfriend reached out to the supervisor to voice his concerns (who has been great to work with). The trainer then texted him, saying he would prefer my boyfriend came to him directly with concerns. My boyfriend replied, explaining that it’s hard to do that when the trainer shows up late, doesn’t prioritize the session, and when his concerns feel dismissed.
The trainer's response was dismissive, implying that my boyfriend didn’t ask for what he needed and that his concerns should have been voiced in person. This was incredibly frustrating for both of us. My boyfriend already tried to address things directly, and the trainer’s response felt like a deflection of responsibility.
I'm hoping the supervisor takes this review into account. The trainer’s unprofessional behavior really affected my boyfriend's experience, and we believe this situation should be addressed. We’d appreciate it if the gym could offer some resolution, including compensating for the session and recommending a different trainer for a more productive experience.
Text messages are available for reference, should the supervisor reach out to request them.

I Got the run around from Portland saying they could transfer me (didn’t happen) just to be told when I contacted them again it was impossible and I’d have to re sign up and get hit with another annual fee, when I had just paid mine. Of all the gyms in Medford I've tried, this is nicest and cleanest for the buck. Seems like they actually take care of their equipment here. Pretty affordable membership. The customer service here could be a little better as their yearly fee comes without any kind of communication and can catch you off guard.
The staff, for the most part, is super friendly, with one or two bad eggs. I had a weird/bad interaction with a dredlocks kid a couple weeks ago, he took my tone and lack of enthusiasm personal and got defensive, but havent seen him since, so maybe he got himself fired.
Good gym. Worth the money. Wish they'd quit handing out joining deals like hot cakes though.

Some ppl are actually trying to help themselves.
No I assure you I was in fact told no.
Check with your employees, owner.
I was turned away after I sat down to wait. I was excited to get back to a gym. I chose crunch due to their great sign up fees and promotions. As I finally signed up for their deal on Halloween, I was charged an extra $10 fee as well as my sign up fee. I inquired about this fee and they said it was for the 3d scan? Which I never signed up for, but since I had already paid for it, I decided to go ahead with it! I never got my scan!
They also never explained to me anything about the personal training day. They scheduled for me to come in for what I thought was a tour and orientation? I showed up in my work clothes, and then was told I was supposed to get a free training session??
At this point they already had my debit card info, and I was very suspicious that the trainer asked for my routing number and bank account?? And said that the debit cards weren’t working anymore? As I declined to pay for personal training, he had his boss come sit with us, and as I denied the training again, they both looked at each other, gave a nod and stood up and walked away! Leaving me at the table with a rude dismissal! I was appalled!
Now seeing all of these reviews makes me very suspicious? Also my son in law has had multiple withdrawals and charges taking out of his account and it keeps happening! I’m now really turned away from even going to this gym! And am probably canceling my membership asap!

Signed up before gym opened with one of the recruiters going around town. Never received an e-mail verification or barcode to even be able to enter gym. Meanwhile I have been billed for the last 2 months and also charged an annual fee for a gym that just opened 1 month ago. They touted a $1 signup fee all summer long only to recuperate that money with the Annual Fee (an annual fee is charged so a gym can put in new equipment, amenities, etc... isn't it ironic that customers are charged an annual fee for a gym that just opened?). I e-mailed the gym and received a callback from the Manager, who was very condescending. He informed me that I was not in their system, and his "Assumption" was that I was being scammed or on the application I put down the wrong e-mail address and phone number. I told him how silly it was to assume that I would get ALL of my personal information wrong, but I would get the correct credit card number. Terrible business practices and services. Just like many other people leaving reviews on here, I am taking this to my Credit Card Institution, and I suggest that all current members to keep a close eye on their billing.
Reply to Business Owner's Response:
two things to further validate my complaint - First, you as the business owner just admitted that the "Annual Fee" was issued to all members after 60 days in lieu of the "Sign-up Fee" that was touted as a $1 promotional to get customers to join. Additionally, it was not explained that this would be happening at sign up, which is why you have numerous individuals with the same complaint here on Google Reviews. You should really work with your staff to be sure to mention this, because I was certainly not talked about this when I signed up with the recruiter going around town.
Second, you have completely missed the point (PS I did e-mail your store, and your manager called me - not you). I was charged an annual fee for a membership that I could not use even if I wanted to. Your manager could not find me in your computer system, but I was being charged for it. Then for him to condescend and accuse me of causing the issue is wrong!

Jake took care of me at signup for my son and myself. Made it so easy!!! I signed up for $29.99 a month plan. You get so much value. It's really a no-brainer. It's almost the same cost as a streaming subscription. The daycare is amazing! My children look forward to going, and they actually ask me to go to the gym. You get 2 hours of babysitting, which is more than enough to enjoy the gym. The sauna is excellent, and the hydro massage is the icing on the cake. You get 10 minutes to unwind and relax. You also get to bring a guest whenever you want , basically for free!! I also had my first session with a personal trainer named Kyra, and it was more than I expected. I am sore from just a 40 min session. She took another 20 minutes to evaluate me and really took the time to listen to me. After the session, I realized that losing weight is not what I should just be focusing on, but mobility and strength in my legs are just as important. So much knowledge was passed down in this one session. I can only imagine what a 3 month trainer membership would do!! I believe a complete transformation would happen. Mentally and physically. I highly suggest this gym to anyone who is serious about making their life better. Ask for Jake, at the front desk and ask for Kyra as a trainer. Honestly, everyone at the gym is so helpful and ready to be of service. High five to Crunch Medford!!

We had the annual fees taken out 2 days ago without our knowledge or letting us know via a text or email. Its nit hard letting customers know especially when we first joined we were getting constant text messages. We disputes the transaction with our bank yesterday. Today we had it go in our favor and had the money returned. I’m going to say it was due to nil communication from Crunch and the fact the agreement we signed when we joined was dated 2030. Really poor communication by Crunch I will not recommend them at all.

It wasn’t miss communication there was no communication. I know you had people making contact with your gym about the same issue as well as in your reviews. Your contract doesn’t state anything about annual fees at 60 days, the actual date of fees in the contract is dated 2030 and why our bank disputed the amount twice and was won in our favour twice.

Overall a nice gym
Some things I would tweak though-
Pros: nice equipment, lots of variety.
Pros: child care is nice, and child care staff always friendly- just wish hours were consistency the same instead of random block in the middle of the day where you can’t bring them in. Also bring in more toys. 1 basketball hoop and a ball for 23 kids. Maybe some books or something additional.
Pros: classes are great- love the hit class and the spin class is 10/10, but class fills up fast- (rightfully so the instructor is great and does the best he can) however they need to hire more people and have more classes since they’re always full. It’s wild to expect someone to teach a 5 am class and a 5 pm class in the same day- but the instructor David still does wonderful. They’ve been saying they’re hiring more instructors for weeks now.
Pro: nice sauna (although I wish it had timers) hard to keep track of time- when you bring your phone in, it gets it extremely hot and would be better with a set timer in the sauna instead of your phone exploding in there.
Pro: contrary to other reviews, staff and management have been friendly.
Pro: hydro massage. Only thing I’d change is the option to book your own time slot (like planet fitness has) so you aren’t waiting on the 1 employee to check you in.
Cons: only 1 smiths machine- always being used and hogged.
They should take out 3 of those Olympic platforms and put in more smiths machines.
Cons: classes fill up fast- can’t always get in them
Cons: parking lot isn’t the best, always full and lots of homeless hanging out near entrance. Not the best at night time.
Cons- they have like 12 tvs and only show 4 channels. News, an infomercial about a ladder or the last choice of “my wife and kids”.
Would be nice to have other channels to watch.
Cons: things are breaking down already. Lockers, equipment out of service, letters from the signs falling off of the wall, the body scan didn’t work and they won’t let you use it unless you talk to a trainer. Those little machines that printout tickets are always glitching as well- won’t let you print out your pass and then says “no show” in your app with a “fee” since it thinks you didn’t show when in reality you did and the machine was broke down.
Overall worth the price but would be nice to change some of these to make it even better.

Tried cancelling my membership over the phone 2 weeks ago, and was told it was canceled effective immediately. Never got a confirmation email or anything. When I called back to confirm the cancellation they confirmed it was canceled and gave me the email the confirmation was sent too. After still no email for 2 weeks I went in person to figure out the details. Jesse at the front desk was horribly rude, belittling, sarcastic, and just plain unprofessional . NICE GYM, bad workers!

The GYM is fantastic, the general manager & the return policies are NOT.
I joined this gym because it was new & it had tanning booths. On September 12th, I went to the gym to tan before exercising. I was looking for a white lotion that offered protection for tattoos. A young gentleman comes over & says here, this is the one you want so I purchased the lotion with cash & went into the booth. I opened it up & it was brown, so I got dressed and went back to the front counter. I explained that it wasn't white & I that I wanted to look for a different one. The associates called their manager over & I met Conrad Du Toit. He told me that he can't give me my money back for the return of the lotion even though it wasn't my fault. I had to purchase a different lotion with my debit card. Conrad assured me that the $21.99 (Credit) would be on my account & that the following monthly dues I would only be charged $3.00. I was charged the full monthly fee of $24.99. I knew it wasn't going to happen the way he said it would & I was right. When I told him I didn't really trust this would happen, he turned around & grabbed his business card & said here, you can contact me if it doesn't.
Crunch Fitness has had my money for over 30 days when it doesn't belong to them.
I sent an email to him directly today because I'd rather not approach him ever again. For a General Manager of a brand-new gym, he is rather rude & not very customer service oriented. Besides my monthly fees, I will never buy anything from this facility ever again.

I like the gym very much it gives me that 24hr Fitness feel and I was with 24hr Fitness for over 20years till I moved to Medford.
I appreciate your team trying to keep the gym clean, vacuuming under machines(could be better), checking Sani bottles and refilling towels. They are the unspoken team that no one wants to acknowledge but I see and appreciate them.
I do feel that when trainers are walking around and or training they should be observing the weights, are missed placed and place them BACK in the proper place (some members are oblivious about re-stacking their weight plates) must the OCD in me.
I do want to ask this. WHEN ARE ALL THE TVs Going to be working? Looks stupid to have TVs placed and not working. Also when are the Straight Bar Curls coming? The Rack is placed but no Straight Bars. People are placing weight plates on it. (They have NO CLUE). That is the reason for the 4 STARS. Ok I digress. Thanks

They lied about how many classes, and when they would be just to get us to sign up, and now they wont let us cancel our membership? Now we have to dispute it with our credit card company.
