I’d like to say first off , I already have had a horrible experience here at edge fitness due to the disrespectful uneducated teenagers taking over the gym to work out for 10 mins and spend the other 50 mins taking snapchats in the mirror, play fighting and simply taking over the gyms space and ruining the chance for ppl to get the workout they came for. So if my opinion of this places wasn’t already bad as it is, tonight I came in at 710pmish with my girlfriend Jordan. We walked and checked in with the host talking to his two friends at the desk about “Not liking blondes” as soon as we walk to the treadmills I see Owen (the host) and both his friends turn around to look at my girls butt and talk about my ankle monitor, laughing until I turnt around. I asked what they were looking at and his friend pointed out my monitor asking “ what the hell it’s for” it was none of their business to I went on with my workout and came back 5 mins later to ask Owen what they were laughing at. He responded the were talking about my monitor. I feel disrespected and angry . Not only do I have to deal with the kids using this place as a playground, but the crew working here is equally immature.

I love Edge Family Fitness! I have been a member for 6+ years and have always had positive experiences here! I had an instance once with a member making me feel unsafe, and the management handled it so well, and with grace. I now am an employee at Edge because I loved being a member here so much! As an employee I can say I still have that same great experience to share. All of the employees and trainers at Edge are so friendly, and I love everyones personalities! You will feel like this is a second home if you sign up here so be careful!

Overall a solid gym. Lots of machines and weights, plus a basketball court and pool. Friendly staff and reasonable membership prices. The machines are in good condition generally, although when something does break it takes them a while to get it fixed.

One warning though; in the afternoons during the week they tend to get a lot of teens in, and the staff does not step in when they're being loud or horsing around on the machines. Coming in at a different time of day is your best bet if that's not something you want to have to endure.

Beware of this place. When you sign up , you have to pay first and last month's dues. When you go to cancel , you still have to pay for 30 days and then they will apply the last month prepay. SO in essence you end up getting billed for 60 days. Not ethical in my opinion.

This club is a place where local people can come and feel welcomed to work out. The facilities are well taken care of with a great basketball court. The fitness equipment is all in great shape. The staff is by far the best part of Edge. Whenever I have a question or a need, everyone is willing to help. The leadership here at this location clearly understands their mission and both Dominic and Steven have shown their true character to me. When faced with an out of the normal billing issue, they worked with me and made me feel valued. The teamwork at this club amongst the staff shows to me that everyone is bought into the system. Thanks again for everything team. No matter your fitness level it seems like there is a place here for everyone.

The gym itself is great. The girl behind the counter was nice and welcoming and my mom and kids speak very highly of an employee named Dominic. However BEWARE of the Apartment Manager, she was extremely rude and spoke down to me. It's a 100° day and I have a 3 lb very well behaved Chihuahua as a service dog. He is 3 years old and is super clean for a dog, u mean he literally takes showers with me. I took him to the kiddie pool where sprinkles are spraying water. I kept him In my arms the entire time and I just held him above the sprinkler for a few moments to cool off. And when I got back to my table I was sitting at with my mother she informed me that an employee had came out and said that some lady was complaining about me having the dog in the pool and I said okay I won't take him in the pool should have been the end of the story but no the apartment manager had to come out seriously walk up to me and rudely say in a demeaning tone he's not going in the pool hey come on lady the pool is full of children and I guarantee you more than half of them have urinated in the same multiple times shoot I didn't even want my dog in that water.

Great gym ! But there decision to increase membership prices to $40 is a bit excessive :/ everyone is struggling out here to make ends meet , hate to say I might have to look for a gym there competitor's are still at $30 also wished that they stayed open till 11pm like before.

My wife and I were in town from NYC and needed a place to work out. I called EFF late in the day, and the next day we arrived on site with the desk staff expecting us! Penny at the front desk was a huge help getting us set up and into their system. Their facilities are clean and generally well kept. Lots of options, too. Some of the equipment could use some TLC (especially the rowing machines), but all in all., we had a wonderful experience both days we were there to work out. We'll absolutely be back when we're next in town. Thank you EFF team!

If you want for an employee to approach you and discriminate you by saying that what your doing isn’t gonna help u lose any weight with there eyes rolling and say whatever after telling them I’m doing my best then by all means that’s the place for you. After months of lifting hard and cardio that my body can handle, I lost 30 pounds but suffering from anxiety and depression problems it’s hard for me to be around people and didn’t think it was safe for my mind to be subjected to that kind of environment and canceled my membership.

Very nice. It’s all updated. They have neat features like a big rope thing and a fence around that with some astro turf. They got lockers downstairs in the locker room although it would be nice if you could have an auto locker instead of having to pay a whopping 8 bucks down at the local bi-mart all the way in newburg along Willyville road just for a darn combo lock. But no need to fret here 5 stars!

This is a decent facility with friendly staff while you are a member.

However, they make it difficult to cancel your membership unless you come in person. I have moved from the area and have contacted 3 times without getting my membership canceled. They state that you can accomplish this on the website, however there is no link to membership control. Seems to be bad faith business practice here, will file a claim with BBB shortly if not handled.

My husband and I recently moved and he called to cancel his membership and they said they would take care of it, come to find out a month plus later they have still been charging us and it hasn't been canceled... terrible customer service. And then when I go in they refer me to someone for a refund and she emails me back and literally just repeats to me what I'm already aware of which is that you cant cancel over the phone, I obviously know that now and that is why I was mad cause their staff remember on the phone said nothing about that. Needless to say they just want your money and dont care about making up for their wrong of one of their staff members. I am not happy .

I attended Zumba at the edge fitness and signed up for membership because Zumba was offered yet it was more of a kickbox class. Zumba is dance not kickbox. I called to cancel my membership and I was told I needed to keep membership for minimum 3 months. I finally called 4 months later to cancel and was told to cancel you need to notify 30 days in advanced or I'd be charged for another month. Granted in the four months of membership I only used the facility twice because i wasn't happy with the Zumba classes. Today is the 7th my membership is due on the 28th but they won't cancel till they get the months dues. So I'm stuck paying for yet another month for a gym I don't even attend because I was not satisfied with the classes. I asked if there was anyway I could avoid that charge and flat out told NO and that was that. Horrible front desk service. Very upset about paying that extra useless month of membership but soooo glad to be done with edge family fitness

Wonderful environment! Never thought I’d be so happy with a gym! The staff is welcoming, the trainers are knowledgeable and eager and the kids club staff is phenomenal. The gym is clean and open! Very bad news i had to hear from my girlfriend, she went in to the gym liked it and everything but at the end she was asked if she wanted to make a membership then started discussing about prices next thing she said she wanted to see other places and see what prices they give because obviously you want to know if your getting your moneys worth, the rudeness i heard she got from one of the employees that works there really pissed me off. And on top of that instead of calling on the work phone professionally leaving a voicemail, this guy had the nerve and decided to leave a text message with his personal number i say very very unprofessional on the text message saying he was joking, how are you gonna joke around telling someone with a rude tone get out of my gym! He doesnt even own it. Just bad service hope everyone knows what they dealing with.

Hello, today is 8/07/17 and I wanted to tell you about the terrible experience I had today at edge. I decided to go today with a friend scince she's been speaking so well of the gym and was thinking about signing up. The gym was great I went up to the desk to speak about prices with the employee on the front desk and yes he explained the prices and deals and I said "okay let me think about" beacause I also want to search around and see which gym will be most affordable within my budget and the employee answer was " okay your not signing up today and I know your not gonna think about it ..then get out of my gym! " and points me out the door. Honestly never going back! this was the worst experience I've ever had from an employee at the gym . And just to let you know I've never seen this employee in my life so total stranger to me never have I spoken to him so don't understand why he had to be so disrespectful and so unprofessional. Definitely letting all my friends and family know and writing some reviews online. I don't remember the employee name but his race looks to be African American. Worst experience of my life . never felt this offended in my life,i thought these people from this gym will welcome u into there gym but the rudeness i got from the employee in the front couldnt do his job right so this issue is gonna go straight to corporate.

Our church held a blood drive and I had asked the managers to post a sign in their building. When I gave them one, they asked for a couple more to put in multiple locations. When I checked patients in during the blood drive, they told me they saw signs at Edge Family Fitness. It's great to have a gym that values community wholeness and supports local fundraising.

I was a member at this gym (I left only because I'm transferring schools) and loved it. The people who worked there made me feel comfortable and were laid back, never trying to sell anything, and always makes you feel like family. They have high-tech equipment too! Great gym!

Great trainers who provide a good variety of classes and options in Bootcamp. The regular classes include yoga, spin, zumba, strength training and they're great as well. The gym also does a lot for kids in the community...such as free basketball court time for practice. Everyone is kind, including the other members I've met! I cant wait to see what new classes will be offered this year!

I have NEVER been more happy at a gym--the local owners make this feel like one big family! From the front desk folks, to the owners to the AMAZING instructors/trainers...this gym is the best! I feel like I am listened to when I have a concern, question, or suggestion---you just don't get that with huge corporate-run gyms! In addition to all the classes I love, they host a kid's conditioning (speed/agility) with the incredible leadership and knowledge of Coach Damon Griffen. His balance of kind encouragement with a lot of hard work has improved my young athlete's form and drive to get stronger, faster, better! I love my Edge Family Fitness family!

I'm taking a leaf out of your book, Carlos, and replying to you via here. Apparently writing it all out here on Google was hitting two birds with one stone - reply to my email and try provide reason as to why I have given a one star. How petty of you.
I do enjoy the attempts you're making to push your ratings up with all the new reviews. It's nice.
You absolutely deserve the one star rating I've given you.
Firstly, neither one of us were provided or offered a tour prior to joining. Maybe, just maybe, we would have been made aware that the one thing going for your gym was for trainers and bootcamp classes. That 'bootcamp' area hadn't been fenced off when we joined, again, we were never advised of its destined use. Now when it was fenced off, OTHER PEOPLE were using it too. You're kidding yourself if you thought we were the only ones. Your star trainer, Casey (I think that's his name, the short one) said to Sean that he could use the area, he just needed to go to the front desk and ask for the key. So what did Sean do? He'd go and ask for the key. If this wasn't the way to do things, maybe you're better off talking to your trainer about that. Additionally, if there was such concern with this, why would your front staff continue to provide him the key? Again, talk to your staff.
But this is all old news. You'd have known all of this had you of ever returned his phone call (I really shouldn't be surprised you never replied to my email.)
I'm glad an account is no longer held at your facility and I look forward to never having to deal with your unprofessional self, your incompetant staff or your business again.

First review I have ever given. I just have to say I joined last week. My experience went something like this...first

I went to 24 fitness up the road...talked to I assume was the owner a very nice lady..however l was looking to join only on a month to month basis since l wont be living here that long..after a 15 min conversation she talked me right out of joining with all the fees to join and then canellation fees...was going to be hundreds of dollars up front in the end for a month...dont think so! Then I went to Edge Family Fitness...took less than 2 minutes to get what I was seeking...$50 month ..take cash...no othercosts!

Went back in a couple days to join...spoke with Raphel...he gave me a very informative tour and insight into my needs!

I was impressed! I had read the story of the owner and what his intent is for his gym...again impressed!

If you look at their website you will notice the other partner? Carlos uses his own email for any concerns.impressed!

I met Carlos the day I joined he lived up to what l was feeling about this place! Impressed!

Edge is more like a community then a gym....I love this gym and highly recommend asking for a 3 day trial pass to check it out.

They are conveniently located just off I5 in Wilsonville.
They offer two different packages - (1) regular package: use of cardio machines, weights and group x classes (spin, pilates, yoga, kickboxing, Zumba, body sculpt...). (2) Ultimate Package: It includes all offered in regular package plus functional training boot camp group workouts (boot camp circuit or stations and boxing). for those who want more, it may seem a bit pricey if you don't take advantage of boot camps regularly - but for me - so worth it. I have seen transformations in members mentally and physically.

The staff who teach boot camp, group X classes, the trainers and the boot camps themselves have made me a daily gym goer. I feel like I have a gym family that I see regularly & we support & cheer each other on.

The trainers here are amazing. They set up group challenges, individual goal setting, nutrition and supplement suggestions and more.

The cardio and weight equipment is brand new and a decent variety. Edge also has a basketball court, racquetball courts, outdoor pool and a kids club. I also believe they may have some programs for youths & teens at extra cost.

The Edge is a fantastic gym that treats you like family. They are responsive to anything you ask for. The instructors, staff and management are great and always willing to help. The ultimate Bootcamp is addictive and the members of all shapes, ages and sizes are your biggest fans. Whether you are new to going to the gym or belong to a gym I would recommend it!

Do not join Edge if you are looking for a place to play basketball! After many delays totaling months of waiting for them to open, I stuck with this place anyway. The only reason I joined was to play basketball and they have since started closing the gym twice a week. I was unhappy with this, but even though it seemed strange as a paying member, I worked my schedule around theirs. I went this evening, a day they are not scheduled to close the court, and was kicked off the court regardless. I went to the desk to cancel my membership since I would rather find somewhere else that I can play and the associate at the counter, clearly on a personal call, seemed irritated when I asked her to find my membership number so I could complete the form.

Facility is nice, but the music is so load it's not enjoyable to workout here. Staff said they cannot turn the music down, and other members don't use certain parts of the gym for this reason alone. Headphones on max, and still their speakers volume drowns out my own.
