EMPOWER collaborates with a network of naturopaths, chiropractors, and physical therapists to provide comprehensive support for clients on their journey to optimal health. I could honestly write a novel on how much working with Mandy in the past year has changed my life! I started working with her in May 2024 when I knew I couldn’t make the lifestyle changes I needed on my own and looked for guidance. I was so happy to have found her and we clicked right away with both being former collegiate track athletes at the same college just a few years apart!
I have been doing her training fully online through her app but it never feels like I’m doing it on my own. She met me where I was physically and mentally at the time and could see the potential in me when I couldn’t. I remember the first month I would text Mandy telling her my anxiety in the gym was too much and I would have to leave early. She was quick to adjust my workouts when I needed and added some at home workout but also gave me the confidence to push me out of my comfort zone and now I go to the gym 4-5 times a week without anxiety!
I’ve seen a 180 in my life and it’s been a slow process because I know we’re not looking for a quick fix but creating a whole new lifestyle and habits that I’ll be able to continue for the rest of my life. She’s always more than happy to take the time to explain the “why” of every part of my plan (work outs, mobility, cardio or diet) and I know every movement and plan has a purpose and is specifically tailored to me. She is intuitive and always knows when something may be off and genuinely cares to know why and what she can do.
Her app is easy to use and I’m able to communicate with her through the messaging or even in conversations attached to my work outs. I love the group chats and being able to check things off my daily list. Mandy will put in reminders for me and add goals that we talked about and I can work towards. It’s nice being able to see the growth from when I started and the goals ahead.
I would, and have, recommended Mandy to everyone I know!

Mandy is fantastic! At 57, I struggled to get in shape for years, trying various YouTube fitness videos. Menopause brought challenges like frozen shoulder and elbow tendinitis, so I sought Mandy's expertise. She tailored online workouts to complement my physical therapy and addressed issues my PT hadn't identified. Her holistic approach improved my strength, mobility, and flexibility. Now, I can lift confidently, sleep better, and my menopausal symptoms are minimal. Working with Mandy online has been life-changing—I am the active "grandma" I always wanted to be. I started working with Mandy when I committed to playing Women's lacrosse in college. I wanted to make the transition from high school to college smooth and in a healthy way. As a freshman I was unsure how to balance diet, movement, school, and playing a sport. I would recommend Mandy's program to anyone who has fitness goals. I had been working on my health before working with Mandy but had felt stuck and needed more support to see progress. I am currently in her online program and it has been the tipping point to finally see the progress I wanted in my weight, strength, mobility, and overall energy. Mandy is an amazing trainer. She cares about her clients mental health as well as their physical health. I had been out of taking care of my self for about 20 years. I had gained so much weight and my body was falling apart horribly.
She set up a great plan for working towards good health. During the process I discovered that both my hip labrum’s were torn. So she was able to modify my workout to Mr of a PT sessions . I’ve been with Mandy for a year and a half and I’m now feeling very hopeful for my future. I have the tools to use to keep on the road to total health. I would recommend her to everyone that wants to get healthy mind and body

I started working out with Mandy just about a year ago on the recommendation of a friend. My reason for initially coming in was wanting to get some structure to achieve my goal of being as healthy and strong as possible as I age. This was after I witnessed the struggles with mobility both of my parents faced as they got older.
The first day I met Mandy I was impressed that in just watching me walk on the treadmill for a few minutes she was able to discern all of the changes that youth sports injuries had caused! In the past year, I’ve gained muscle, strength, and confidence. I’ve learned about how my body responds during times of stress or calm.
Mandy gently gets me to where I need to go, patiently waiting for me to incorporate change (and I can be a tiny bit stubborn!).
I really value her coaching, support, and encouragement. I have begun to enjoy going to the gym again. I also appreciate all of the fitness tools and nutrition guidance available to me to support me along the way.
Taking the step to engage with a trainer was a big decision and I’m so glad I did it! I highly recommend Mandy and Empower Fitness.

I have been working with Mandy for almost three years. I started during the pandemic just to do group workouts with friends. About a year and half in I started doing nutrition in addition to workouts. In my time with Mandy I have lost 29 pounds of fat, while gaining 3 pounds of muscle. Mandy is patient and kind and meets you where you are. She is consistent in asking you to state your goals and then giving affirmation and steps to meet those goals.
When I started with Mandy I never thought that I would be a morning workout person (in fact emphatically said no way), could work out Monday-Friday, or would change my eating and nutrition habits. However, with Mandy's guidance and gentle pushing I now workout at 6 am Monday-Friday. I have also completely changed my eating and nutrition. I am stronger, more toned, and am far better equipped in the food/drink choices that I make. She creates accountability in the best way possible, not by shaming, but by partnering, knowing when to push, and knowing when to just acknowledge an issue and letting it rest with you.
Mandy's voice now has taken up permanent place in my head. I hear her voice when I feel like I can't get up to work out, when I want sugar, or am doing things without using my abs.
I also thought that I had to be a runner to be successful and truly "fit". I hate running and that has always made me feel unsuccessful. Mandy has helped me realize that strength is key to everything, that cardio has a lesser importance, that you have to do what your body has the strength to do correctly and without getting hurt. This knowledge has set me free and helped me feel successful and I have more knowledge to know why running is so difficult for me. Her plan feels doable, manageable, and makes me want to keep getting stronger and more fit. She does this for all of her clients, "what are your goals and how do we get there".
Lastly, Mandy is the biggest support system for me. She is intuitive to know when something is going on in your life and she asks you about it. She doesn't make you push through when something hurts - she wants to get to the bottom of it. She also gives you permission to put yourself first. She knows that as women we are the CEO of the house, the workplace, and have many things that derail our progress and lives. She supports you through it, she is kind, understanding and gives you permission to feel how you feel and to give yourself grace.
I have recommended Mandy to several of my friends, they have all joined up with her and have seen benefit from her work. I highly recommend her, she is a highlight in my life.

I’ve been seeing Mandy now for almost 2 years with great progress towards my goals. She has created a warm, nurturing environment; She listens, evaluates, and forms a plan for you while supporting your health journey on a mental/physical level. Her awareness of my multiple roles as a female (mom, business owner and partner) has been so important to me as I navigate my wellness/lifestyle habits. With Mandy I’ve learned to prioritize/balance these roles at the same time listening to my body. Mandy is well educated and passionate about staying up to date on nutrition and fitness research. Working with Mandy has genuinely given me a new lease on life. I deal with a rare condition in both my knees that causes debilitating issues for me. I went from an athletic lifestyle to a sedentary one because I was constantly worried about the next time I would re-injure myself from walking or taking a flight of stairs. Mandy's training focused on strengthening my body mechanics, which are vital for mobility, and stabilizing and maintaining my knee issues. I have regained the confidence I needed to maneuver life in this body better than I ever could. I am back to lifting weights and hiking again, two things I wasn't sure would ever happen until I had double knee replacement surgeries, which is still a reality for me, but I can live more comfortably until that day. And when issues arise, I have the tools necessary to help aid in the recovery process and healing time. I couldn't recommend Mandy enough. She changed my life!

I can not say enough great things about Mandy as a trainer and most importantly a person! By chance we met when there was a miscommunication in my appointment with another trainer. We chatted and had so much in common. Both track athletes! It wasn’t that I didn’t know how to work out but honestly as a retired athlete I needed the motivation and the drive to get back in and push myself! She did that and more. From there we developed a relationship that was beyond just training. My real love started when she worked with my teenage daughter also an athlete. She trained her body and her mind. She had a way of being a trainer and a counselor to her. My daughter adored and trusted her to tell her things that she wouldn’t tell me. I had no idea that her body image was a real issue. She taught her that she had the power to change her body with training and working out and it didn’t have to be about the food. She had the control. Mandy had a way of empowering by working on the whole body including the mind. She is amazing on all levels. We moved out of the area and my daughter still talks about Mandy. We are on the path to a better self now as she was more than a muscle trainer! I love you Mandy!

I began working with Mandy about 3 years ago. I work with her remotely via her app. I was looking to boost my strength as I moved into my 50’s, and get control of my weight. Together , with her suggestion of working with my naturopath, we have increased my strength and I have lost 40 pounds. It took a lot of encouragement and continued changes. Thru injuries and set backs, we would change workouts to help support my continued goals. Mandy is a fantastic trainer and a good friend. I will be forever grateful for her support throughout this continued journey of health and wellness.
