Keep in mind that this a kid typing on his mother's phone. Today I signed up for a class thats 15 dollars, expecting to be treating like any other adult in that class. In this class, there are two levels. I leveled up to the first level, until a coach decides to deny me from leveling up. Saying that this is an adult class and that I have to stay in the bottom level. Why? I pay the SAME fee to join, and I'm a kid. So what if I'm a kid? I still play like them, I'm the a same level. This level of discrimination is SO disheartening, especially as a kid. Even though I have to face this, I still want to play tennis, so I have to stay.

This is my home away from home, and I probably wouldn't have made friends after moving to Springfield without ESTC. This place is my "Cheers" where I go for exercise and social time.

I love my pickleball membership. I can't wait for them to expand more offerings, including more available times to play.

I was a member at EST for several years and routinely brought guests with no issue. On a recent visit, I was abruptly denied guest entry by a front desk employee who enforced a “one-visit-per-month” policy that had never been communicated to me and had never been applied in any of my prior visits.
Instead of explaining the policy or handling the situation with discretion, the employee was rigid, dismissive, and publicly confrontational in front of other members and my guest. It was humiliating and completely avoidable.
As someone of Jewish ethnicity, the sudden, selective enforcement of an unwritten policy—after months of being allowed in—felt exclusionary. I brought this to management’s attention, asked for meaningful resolution, and gave them multiple opportunities to address it privately. They refused to take action, offered no apology, and allowed the same employee to remain in place.
I’ve since filed a formal civil rights complaint with Oregon’s Bureau of Labor and Industries under ORS 659A.403, which prohibits discriminatory treatment in places of public accommodation.
This isn’t just about one employee—it’s about how a business chooses to respond when members are treated unfairly. I won’t be returning, and I encourage others to think twice.

Enjoyed a swim as a guest of our friends who are members. What a great place with so many wonderful classes and facilities to promote fitness and wellness in Eugene. If we lived in town, I think we would be members.

A hidden gem if you can get it. An awesome outdoor pool, spa and kiddie pool. Great for families and possibly worth avoiding amazon pools craziness!

This is an amazing club! The tennis facilities are great and I love the coaches! There is also a swimming pool, pickle ball court, playground, and more! There is just an amazing sense of community here. However, you have to be a member and I understand that it’s inconvenient and not always financially possible.

I would play pickleball more often here, but the floor lines are in a color that blends too easily w the floor color. While the tennis line is a bright white, ya can'tiss that! Not alone in this opinion. Too hard to see. Would be such an easy fix too!
But they do have lots of indoor/outdoor courts, drop in times and a great instructor if u want lessons. I am allowed to pay for a single drop in fee for their drop in playtimes and the instructor.

My daughter in law a D1 tennis player for Liberty University wanted a day pass or a month pass while she was here to not lose her skills. They were not willing to accommodate her over the holidays. She was terribly disappointed!
