About the Club

Evolve Fitness PDX is a 2,000 sq foot semi private training facility. We do specific programing and workouts for individual needs during our personal training sessions. We also offer small group training, a bit less personal but still focused on helping you achieve your personal goals in a small group environment 2-10 people.

I've been coming to this private gym for about a month or so now, but have been training with one of the personal trainers, Kelli, for a few years. Kelly has been the best personal trainer I've had. Clinton seems to be a great trainer as well. I haven't personally taken a class with him yet, but he has a wealth of knowledge and has some awesome workouts. If you're looking for a small private gym with some small group or personal training sessions, give these guys a call.

I have been training with Clinton for over 15 years and I am the same huge fan of him after all these years. Clinton is a gem: smart, knowledgeable, and funny. Not only did Clinton help me reach my goals but he went beyond my expectations. From the onset, he helped me build a stronger core and upper body. My posture and strength improved so much over the years that I never felt any pain even though I spend most of my time behind a desk. Thanks to him, throughout the years, I was able to practice new sports without getting injured. Clinton really knows how to challenge a person while providing a very safe approach to training. I never get tired of training with Clinton who renews himself constantly and brings new exercises to our personal training sessions week after week, year after year. My whole family has benefited from training with Clinton: my mother who took classes with Clinton when she was in her 70s, my husband who got hooked to personal training with Clinton 10 years ago, and my son who started training as a teenager and continues to seek advice from Clinton. Clinton has made such a positive impact to our health and well-being that we could not imagine life without him!

Have worked with Clinton and his company for years. Their approach to fitness and being an accountability coach is amazing. They work with you, your needs, and make the best fitness program for you. They aren't a typical cookie cutter fitness gym. Thank you Clinton!

I've been coming to this private gym for about 5 or 6 months now, but have been training with one of the personal trainers, Kelli, for several years. Kelly has been the best personal trainer. I would actually call her more of a "life coach". She has really been helpful, both pre- and post-pregnancy, with strength training, weight loss, and diet control. She's also great about helping me find balance in my work and personal life, she encourages me to meditate, amongst other things. Clinton seems to be a great trainer as well. I still haven't taken classes with Clinton, but he is great to talk to, very knowledgeable and gives his clients great work outs. I will say this every time, if you're looking for a small gym and a more personal experience, call these guys. I love them and can't recommend them enough.

My personal trainer, Clinton Morris, at Evolve Fitness is the reason I can walk up and down my stairs many times a day without pain in spite of having osteoarthritis in my knees.
His training has strengthened me and given me a much broader range of motion than many people my age! (63)
His extensive knowledge of anatomy and dealing with joint injuries has helped me through some rough times. He has found creative and individualized ways for me to exercise through these injuries and help me get better!
I love the smaller (but well equipped) gym compared to the huge mega gyms. Most clients exchange at least a greeting as they come and go as we usually recognize each other-so a more friendly atmosphere than most.
I highly recommend this trainer and gym!

He is one of the best trainers I have come across both in his knowledge of the human body, but also in his demeanor and professionalism. I sought out a personal trainer as a last ditch, Hail Mary attempt to regain some strength and mobility after a severe spinal condition that culminated in surgery where I had my spinal cord untethered and portions of three vertebrae removed. My neurologist said I would never be able to carry anything heavier than a purse. Physically, my situation was pretty hopeless.

Clinton listened to my sad story with compassion and immediately got to work helping me regain my ability to do simple things like get up and down off the floor. We strengthened the severed muscles along my spine with safe conservative exercises and my pain decreased within weeks. Building on this success, Clinton has worked with me week after week gently pushing at the boundaries of what I can do and I am proud to say I can now deadlift 220 pounds! That’s a lot for a girl who would only ever be able to lift a purse.

Because of Clinton at Evolve Fitness, I have my life back. Since training with him I have resumed hiking, running, yoga and have even joined in Cross Fit challenges. I have regained the ability to do all the basic skills I’d lost - like standing on one foot, jumping etc. and I am now one of the strongest people I know.
