I have been working with Gwen for about two months now, and am so happy with my decision to hire her to help me with my fitness goals. Gwen is knowledgeable, kind, and knows when to support, encourage, and push you to the next level. Gwen review
Gwen is hands down the best! I’m considering an ankle fusion for a congenital condition and was looking to gain better fitness beforehand. I learned at my 1st session that Gwen has also been dealing with a lifetime of a foot/ankle disorder. What an inspiration and role model she has been is seeing what is possible by listening to your body, and staying fit! Her tips with dealing with chronic pain have been invaluable. Honestly, I’ve never worked with someone who so genuinely cares and is focused on meeting your challenges. She is also incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. I definitely give her a 5 star rating! For Gwen, it really is all about you!

I have worked with Gwen over the last 7 weeks and she is truly incredible. First, as a person she is warm, friendly, kind and compassionate. These qualities allow her to attune very quickly to what I needed each session. She knew when to lift my spirits and when to push me harder so that I can believe in my abilities. Secondly, as a trainer she is extremely knowledgeable and versatile. Her knowledge and passion comes across very clearly. Each session begins with warm ups, some dynamic movement and then in each session she has worked on specific target areas. She sets attainable goals and checks in through texts to see how I am doing. What impresses me is how present and focused she is during the hour that I spend with her. Whatever we have done, is later emailed to me so that I have a reference copy. She remembers any questions I had and includes them in her email. Her attention to detail is truly impressive. And by the way, the gym is immaculate!! Gwen has surpassed my expectations, and I feel grateful. I continue to work with her and heartily recommend her!

I have been working out with Gwen for a few months now, and I feel like a much different person. I’ve worked out with a variety of trainers starting around 2018, but with Gwen I feel like I’ve started to move towards the kind of athleticism I have been seeking but had not yet found.

I did not grow up as an athlete and have experienced chronic medical conditions. I haven’t always felt that trainers have been able to really grasp my experience or could help educate me in a well-rounded and respectful way. Gwen has always made me feel like I’m exactly where I should be, and is amazing at educating warmly and at the right pace.

I came in with a LOT of goals, and often add to them week to week. Gwen has been amazing at finding the intersection of what I’m excited about, adding in building blocks I can integrate into the rest of my week, and keeping me pointed towards my largest goals. I often come into sessions at the end of my workday, feeling drained and exhausted - I leave feeling energized and powerful.

Gwen is all-around incredibly supportive. I’ve felt daunted by nutrition for a long time, especially as I have become more active and have tried to understand how to fuel my adventures, like skiing, horseback riding, and running. With Gwen’s coaching I’ve been able to gradually shift my habits and choices, and I have never felt shamed.

Gwen is an awesome coach and role model and has helped me build an incredible amount of capability and confidence. Getting to work with her is an amazing opportunity that I really can’t recommend highly enough.

After a tough pregnancy three years ago and adjusting to new motherhood of 2, I struggled to figures out what worked to get my health back-
Gyms weren’t working because of a variety of reasons. All the apps and videos only got me so far. I knew I needed accountabilitySo April 2022- insert Gwen! I stumbled upon her because I wanted a female trainer, who was a mom and who just “got it”.
It’s been the BEST thing I have done! I train an hour a week in her private clean beautiful home gym on a schedule that works for me. The other 6 days she gives me work outs and checks in with me. She is knowledgeable, compassionate and pushes me to do things I didn’t think I had the strength to do.
I now LOVE working out, getting my nutrition in check and enjoy weight lifting!

I have been to three sessions so far with Gwen. She has a gift for explaining things clearly and patiently without making me feel self conscious. She gives just enough push, while at the same time making sure I remain injury free. Pacing is good… I can check in during the week if I am unsure of certain moves. I am an avid cyclist and have always thought I could cross train on my own. I was wrong. I was doing repetitive, boring moves and not really getting a full body workout. I have been working out with Gwen virtually for about ten months…and trust me when I say I have NEVER stuck with a workout plan this long!!! It is all because of Gwen. She took the time to really listen to me and to put together a custom plan that was challenging enough but also FUN! I was somewhat hesitant to work with someone virtually but she has made it worth it! And I also love that she’s always willing to work around my 4 year old son who participates sometimes! Plus It is good for him to see me exercise so he knows it needs to be a regular part of life. I really look forward to seeing her every week. She is so good at helping me keep a positive attitude because she is such an amazing person. Gwen trained myself and my son over the span of several months. We both needed help with types of exercises to do to strengthen specific muscles and didn't really know where to start! Gwen was receptive, kind, and the right amount of pushy! ;-) She had a plan with specific workouts every time, walked us through various techniques, and explained why we were doing the exercises in order to focus on specific the muscles. I also go to a gym, so I was able to bring what she taught me to the gym, without feeling awkward using weights and the bench because I now knew what I was doing! Unfortunately, Gwen has since relocated but I am still using the workouts she taught me and am grateful for having the opportunity to learn from her.
