Best fitness studio I've ever been to. Classes are both challenging and accessible, with plenty of modifications available throughout each class. All the teachers are friendly, professional, and skilled at creating cohesive classes that truly FLOW. Poses and exercises never feel clunky or awkward. The space is always clean and bright and I love the community feel I get when I go here.

Flow Lab stands out because of its variety of classes, instructors, and workouts. The vibe is always welcoming - it's NOT one of those studios where a new person comes in feeling lost and the regulars are snobby. Everyone is glad that you're there. The instructors, especially Stef and Meg, make every effort to help new students come in confident and encouraged. They check in with people during yoga and HIIT, in case they need help with form or modifications. They respect and respond to what you need that day. Flow Lab spoiled other gyms and studios for me... the workouts and flows are fresh, amazing, challenging, and rewarding!

I recently attended a HIIT class at Flow Lab, and it was such a fantastic experience! The energy in the room was amazing, and the exercises were both fun and challenging. The teacher did a phenomenal job tailoring the workout to different cardio levels, making sure everyone felt comfortable while still pushing themselves.

One thing that really stood out was how warm and encouraging everyone was toward a new student in the class. It was heartwarming to see such a welcoming and supportive vibe—it’s clear that Flow Lab is more than just a place to work out; it’s a community.

My first experience was not a good one. I walked in with my sister and had never been there before. I wasn’t showed around at all, was just pointed in the direction of the locker room. Alex asked us if we had done yoga before and I told her that I haven’t in a really long time. I didn’t bring a yoga mat since the website said the first time was free to use one and she said, “Uh well I guess it’s fine you use one for today”.
When Alex came into the room she never introduced herself, I didn’t even know her name till I went online to look. I ended up sitting right next to her during our class which I thought would be a good thing for me but it wasn’t. I was the only plus sized person in the room and so my body doesn’t move in certain ways and she kept on trying to correct my way of modifying things by trying to get me in the same poses as everyone else. I would have assumed she would have tried to show me a different way to modify but she didn’t. The class was so fast pace it was almost impossible for myself and my sister to keep up. She didn’t explain any of the poses so we were really completely lost. We signed up for slow flow because that’s what it says is best for beginners. Towards the end I started to get really nauseous and light headed and needed to grab some fresh air, I told Alex about it and all she said was, “okay” and smiled. The genuine care and comfort for me was absolutely nothing. After the class I didn’t know what to do with my mat I borrowed and when I asked she pretty much just stared at me and didn’t know where to put it either. Another lady heard me ask and told me. I’m really just disheartened about the whole experience.

Best studio in the Portland area! Flow Lab offers quality yoga, strength, and cardio classes -- which is difficult to find in ONE studio. The instructors are all skilled and knowledgeable at offering modifications to tailor to your personal needs. The community is super welcoming and fun. Can't recommend this studio enough!

Booked “Flow 75” with Meghan spontaneously and so glad I did! Working on the splits was a fun surprise, she really helps you focus on good form, and my back feels so much better after this class. Overall a fun and rewarding class, and the actual studio and amenities are great.

Can’t recommend this studio enough! I started out going to Stephanie’s Slow Flow class on Saturdays which is an amazing way to build a strong yoga foundation. When you’re ready for something harder the flow classes are great. Mackenzie, Meghan, and Steph are a few of my favorite instructors. They always give modifications so you can tailor the class to your body.

I got turned onto this studio through a friend of mine and fell in love with it. It's great to go to a place that offers different types of workouts. I have truly benefitted from going to Cardio Strength, and HIIT classes and combining Yoga, Deep Stretch and Candlelight with those through out the week. The instructors are delightful, full of energy, enthusiastic, and welcoming. Definitely going to keep going back :)

This studio is amazing and I really enjoy coming here. I've attended a variety of classes and I love all of them. The instructors do an excellent job of making you feel welcome and encouraging you throughout the class in a positive, up-beat way. They also make it a point to say hi to you and get to know your name. I feel stronger and healthier every class I go to. The classes are challenging but you can modify to your level as needed, which is great. Classes are at a variety of times and days of the week. I highly recommend.

This yoga studio is a hidden gem. First of all, lots of parking! The studio is beautiful, clean and always bustling with positive energy. I haven't taken any of the cardio or HIIT classes, yet, because I love vinyasa flow, but I have taken flow from Meghan, Stephanie and Mackenzie and they are all EXCELLENT teachers and guides. Locker rooms have everything you need, too.

What an awesome studio! The owner to all of the instructors to the other clients are top notch. It’s a cute space, the showers have shampoo and conditioner, and it’s a roomier locker room than many studios, and they have so many class times and options. I have felt so welcomed and look forward to continuing to meet new instructors and clients. Check it out ya’ll. If you are on the fence do the two week trial they offer!

Experienced and exceptional instructors set Flow Lab apart from other fitness studios. And that makes all the difference. Meghan, Stephanie, Jayme, and Jennifer are all fantastic, and you will definitely get a full and challenging workout from any one of them, whether you’re taking a strength, HIIT, or power vinyasa flow class. I have recently moved to the Portland and found Flow Lab PDX through the ClassPass App. After the two-week free pass on ClassPass, in which I visited Flow Lab and two other studios, the favorite was Flow Lab by a mile. They have great facilities, a modern space with excellent, knowledgeable, professional teachers. I have done a heated Flow class with Meghan, which is challenging for my intermediate fitness and yoga-experience level, but some very effective guidance from Meghan is reassuring and helps to keep focus. I have also done HIIT and Cardio Strength with Jennifer which is the perfect place to be if you want to get a decent, exciting and professionally led workout. You will search far to find the same quality support and motivation to keep improving. Flow Lab is worth every resource you will pour into it!

I also grateful to have found Flow Lab back in 2019. Megan and her entire team have created an incredibly warm and welcoming community.

All of the classes offer something different but my favorite are the HIIT. The classes are upbeat, challenging, and most importantly fun! The style of class offers an awesome workout that is customizable to meet every level. I’ve come to rely on these classes to manage stress and keep a level head, especially in recent times.

Yesterday, I took my first OUTDOOR HIIT class and it was awesome! We all had shady spots with a lot of space in between. The workout was just as challenging as indoor, if not more! I will be attending these regularly! Thanks Flow Lab!

This studio is hands down my favorite in Portland! I feel that finally I can go to one place and get ALL the workouts in. Strength, cardio, yoga, just every part of my body feels glow lab, AND I LOVE IT! The instructors are amazing and every class is like I have a personal 1:1 trainer. This is by far the best gym that I have been to. All the instructors are amazing, the gym is clean, with brand new equipment. I absolutely love the HIIT Class and Cardio Strength. I absolutely LOVE Flow Lab! The HIIT classes are intense and effective with lots of varied equipment: TRX, slam balls, slider, free weights, and bosu balls. The heated Flow classes are challenging and empowering. Every single instructor I’ve taken class with gives excellent, clear instruction, and motivates and coaches you to your best. The studio itself is gorgeous and sparkling clean. The owner, Meghan Atkinson, is a longtime badass in the Portland fitness community and her energy shines through in every aspect of Flow Lab.
