This studio has transitioned over the years from Bikram-style hot yoga only to a strong mix with vinyasa, hatha, Pilates and other styles, all in the heated studio. Still at least two of the classic 26-pose classes daily, taught by experienced teachers who bring their own expertise and styles to the room. Clean, well-run, supportive of the local community. Free outdoor classes in nearby parks in the summer.

I love Forge! They have a consistent schedule with a variety of classes and fantastic teachers. I appreciate that the community is full of folks of all sizes, abilities, and styles and that the staff reflects that as well. Whenever classes get cancelled or the schedule changes(which is almost never), it’s great that a ton of notice is given to members. The studio is clean and welcoming and I also love the seasonal workshops & online class offerings! I started here 9 months ago and haven’t looked back. Big fan of this place 🙌🏻

I've been coming to Forge since they opened and have taken a number of different classes here- all have been amazing. My favorite classes are the hot yoga with Kate (Kiara and Mikayla are awesome too) and Yin and Hatha with Allegra. The studio is so warm and inviting and the cool lavender towels during final savasana and the popsicles after class are just the icing on the cake. I cannot recommend this studio more!

Visiting town and needed a hot yoga studio and wow Forge did not disappoint. The intro pricing is so generous and helpful because they provide a mat and towel for each class. I took two 90 minute Bikram classes, hot Pilates and the 60 minute Bikram class and all of them were great. Love how hot the studio gets, left fully drenched. My favorite was their express class. I really enjoyed their sequence of the postures. They have lockers for your belongings. They sell packets of LMNT which I love and they have a water bottle refill station. 10/10 recommend. Give yourself enough time to find parking. Thanks for the hospitality. ✌🏽

I’m in town for a month and coming to classes here 4-5 days a week has definitely become a highlight! I’ve taken their Bikram, yoga sculpt, and hot vinyasa classes so far and have left all of them feeling in a great mood and that I got a great workout in.

Their intro 7 class pass for $39 is also an incredible deal and a wonderful way to try out the studio.

Each class I’ve taken has been a different instructor too and it’s been great to experience that they all are very talented and knowledgeable.

Lastly, each class ends with a complementary cold lavender towel and popsicles which is just an added cherry on top.

Local yoga spot that loves and participates in the community, is welcoming to folks of all skill levels, and has a nice variety of classes available. The instructors I have practiced with are true pros and sprinkle in those subtle suggestions for minor position modifications that have a marked impact on your practice. They also do a great job of balancing new technology to make scheduling/billing easy while still providing personable support. They are often running new member specials, but even at full price it is well worth it - I highly recommend checking it out!

I absolutely love this studio! All of the instructors are so nice and knowledgeable. I love how community oriented they are. Hot yoga and inferno hot pilates have changed my life this year. I’m so thankful for the practice. The studio is always clean and the membership is the most affordable I’ve seen in Portland. I literally tell everyone about this place. I just told my allergy shot nurse today and gave her a guest pass🤭 We get cold lavender towels and popsicles end of class. I’m vegan and I love that they always have a vegan option.

We love Forge Yoga. They are extremely community oriented - organizing food/clothing drives, events in the park, and offer a weekly free hot yoga class every Fri night 'Bikram Beats'. The studio and changing rooms are clean, well ventilated and stocked with every amenity you might need. The staff and owners are so delightful...you can tell people working there genuinely like being there. I've been going to this studio off and on for 10+ years and in that time ownership has changed and flourished. I'm so appreciative of this business and their commitment to supporting and giving back to the community.

What’s not to love? 💕 The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, the teachers are supportive of your practice and don’t push like the usual Bikram studios, and lavender towels to end every class!

The studios get a little packed, but you gotta pay rent I suppose. Well worth it for the price, location, and overall experience. 🤩

Such a welcoming place to practice. Options range from high powered Vinyasa, to disciplined Bikram, to relaxing and expanding Yin. Excellent workshops offered monthly. Nice locker rooms with showers. Outdoor patio area for cooling down after class. Excellent value for monthly packages. I've practiced for about 7 years, so I provide this feedback with genuine knowledge of many yoga facilities across 4 states.

I’ve been practicing at this studio since 2022 and I’ve absolutely loved it. The buzz around the place and the teachers are incredible. There are a range of classes to pick from and it’s so great to have the option for Pilates as well, especially in a hot room! This studio is essential for my own fitness and wellness goals so I’m grateful it’s around. It’s a 2hr round trip for me so that’ll tell ya how worth it is. :)
The client service as well is top notch, the team is flexible and have been supportive of membership pauses and changes as well as being proactive in making sure my needs are taken care of. I can’t say enough!

I have tried multiple yoga studios in Portland over the years and this is, by far, the best studio I have ever found. Great teachers. Many class opportunities. Great location. But the best part is how kind, flexible and accommodating everyone is. I have had a few emergency cancels and have not been charged. Same with forgetting my mat. These small kindnesses, instead of putting a few extra dollars first, really mean a lot. I also enjoy how diverse the staff and client base is, but best of all, they give out FREE POPSICLES (!) at the end of every class which is incredible after a hot workout. Love everything about them.

As is with most of our @hoponandholdon adventures, there was a scheduling mix up when we tried out this studio during our visit to Portland. However, the owner(s) managed the last minute change professionally and with great courtesy. Although we wanted to take a flow class, we took a 26x2 with music instead. We don’t normally like 26x2, but the addition of the music made it a lot more enjoyable. We liked chatting with the studio owner after as well and will definitely be back to take a flow class.

A friend bought me a 7-class pack for a gift last summer, but I quickly found out I was pregnant and my doctor advised against hot yoga. Angela, the owner, was super understanding and said my pack wouldn't expire, and I could just reach back out postpartum to use the remaining classes. After having my baby, I reached back out and she was so kind and honored the earlier commitment. For my first workout postpartum I did the hot vinyasa flow on Tuesday at 7pm with Nicki. It was INCREDIBLE! I cannot speak highly enough about Nicki, Angela and the environment of this studio. You are immediately relaxed in settling in on your mat. They turn off the lights in the room and the heat isn't overwhelming. It takes 10-15 minutes of class to really start to sweat, but by the end you are drenched. Before savasana they provide you with a cool towel that smells like refreshing essential oil. The entire experience is so calming and welcoming for people of all levels. I left feeling uplifted and eager for my next session. Definitely try out Forge you won't regret it!

I cannot say enough positive things about this studio. I have been coming here for years. I have lived in Seattle and the portland area and been to LOTS of studios; none of them even come close to Forge. First and foremost, the instructors and owners are amazing! They all go above and beyond to make studio members feel welcome! This studio also offers HIIT classes, which are incredibly challenging, but Forge manages to make the classes fun!. The HIIT classes are different every time, and every instructor offers their own teaching style. This is great for people like me, because I struggle with workouts where it’s the same each time. HIIT is my favorite, but there are lots of other great offerings from this studio too. Also of note, years ago I was in a car accident and started to develop arthritis in my foot and was looking at a very invasive surgery. For some reason these classes seem to keep my arthritis under control and I’ve been able to hold off on surgery. Also, because of my injuries I can’t do some of the positions, but the instructors always help with modifications, which is great! I’m incredibly grateful for this gem of a studio, and grateful to be part of the forge community!

Love Forge Hot Yoga! I originally took advantage of their intro deal about a year and a half ago because of flaring sciatica pain. I did not know what to expect. But I was happy to have found Forge! I recently moved to Portland and decided to try out the forge hot yoga 7 class pass. I have been BLOWN away. Every class from Afro beat dance, to hot Pilates to my usual hot yoga have been a great workout. So fun and relaxed and the staff are awesome. The owner has texted me twice in two weeks to check in and see how things are going. Its such a great feeling to experience pure kindness!

The place is extremely clean, sanitized everything, gave mat, towels, sprayed them later.
I also got a popsicle after this super 🔥 yoga experience 🥵

Long term hot yogi, new to Forge as of 3 months ago and I'm hooked! The Hot Vinyasa Flow and Hot Pilates classes are comparable (as far as difficulty and quality of workout) to Core Power Yoga's C2 and Sculpt classes, but I would argue the classes are not as predictable AND instead of supporting a large corporation you can actually support a small business! While I have not yet tried their Bikram class (which comes in both 60- and 90-minute formats), I recently tried the Afro Beat Fitness and it was such a fun and energetic experience I plan to make it a Friday ritual! This studio seems to genuinely care about cultivating an environment that is welcoming to all and I'm so happy to have found this studio by chance.

My wife (I'm a dude) got me into hot yoga 8 years ago. A month after starting my body felt like it was 23 again even tho it was 50lbs overweight. Now balls deep into my 40's, my body is 20lbs overweight, my body feels 25. You can't stop time, but you can turn it back and slow it down.
With that said, I love this studio. All the instructors are knowledgeable. Everybody with any body is welcome. The hot yoga is hot, but you can definitely bear it even if you think you cannot.
The Hot 90 minute class rejuvenates and relaxes and builds mental endurance. Your back will love it.
The Hot 60 minute class reinvigorates and energizes and saves you some time. Your back will like-like it.
The Yin class goes deep and long. Your hips will love it
The Hot Pilates class goes fast and hard. Your butt love it.

Excellent instructors, clean studio, wonderful location! I visited multiple times during my stay in Portland. Can't beat the fact that the studio was walking distance from my airbnb and on a street filled with eateries, bars, and other quirky shops. Perfect for travelers. The studio itself is hip and artsy and had a beautiful sense of community and inclusion. I appreciate that they offer a variety of classes, as well as keeping it old school style with the original Bikram 90 minute class (plus podium and mirrors, yay). Keyonda's pilates class left me so inspired. What a knowledgable, uplifting teacher. Shout out to the studio owners were extremely nice and accommodating. Will definitely be back. Try their Kombucha on tap. I recommend the Pear Fennel.

Great staff here. I enjoy hot Pilates very much and they always mix it up. The location is super convenient and facilities are clean. However, I have suggested they sage before and after class because it does get stinky ... you know Bikram! Is that part of the will power and self control we’re shooting for ? Lol ....

Wanted to go some yoga while I was visiting Portland. I can across the 6:30 Monday hot yoga class for beginners. It was the best class I've taken. Friendly and educated staff. Best way to stretch out a tight back after a couple plane rides.
