Do you aspire to keep doing the things you love as you get older? Us too. We provide a fun, safe, clean learning environment with effective expert coaching that can be experienced through one-on-one personal training or group training to help you stay or get fit. In fact, those we've worked with 3-4 days per week have told us they feel stronger, happier and more capable of handling everything life throws at them.

Fortitude Fitness Training in Bend is incredible. I knew I needed to amp up my weight training (I’ve been a cardio queen my whole life) and just couldn’t get into it at home, so I joined and I’m so glad I did! Travis and Lindsay are amazing. Always positive and encouraging. There is no ego at this gym - everyone is accepting and welcoming of all levels. I’ve seen amazing results in just 5 months and just came home from a major backpacking trip. The trail was grueling but I felt so good the whole time, and I know that that is because of training with Fortitude. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Fortitude Fitness provides real world results. Last weekend I went on a mountain bike ride with my husband and I felt great! My husband told me I was riding really strong and every time he turned around I was "right there". We had done that same ride one year ago and though I had a great time, I had to walk a few hills and my husband had to patiently wait for me. It used to be a tough ride for me, but not anymore! I can do things now that I haven't been able to do for several years. And I can't tell you how amazing that feels!
I have been going to the group classes at Fortitude Fitness for almost a year now. Everyone is kind and supportive, from coaches to my classmates. The workouts feel like they challenge me without beating me up. Travis and Lindsay are great coaches. They are encouraging without being pushy, and they make sure we use proper form - which is really important to me.
I am capable of more than I thought I was. I am stronger and healthier than I was a year ago. And I have Fortitude Fitness to thank for that!

One of the most welcoming, low ego, and enthusiastic groups of people I’ve encountered at a gym. Travis is a stand up guy who deeply cares for the health and wellness of his community, and the coaches he has hired follow suit. I have never liked strength training, nor have I ever relished the idea of working out with other people. I arrived at an age however, where strength training became unavoidable if I wanted to set myself up to age well, prevent injury, and continue doing all the activities I love. I found Fortitude online, met Travis, and thought I’d give it a whirl. I had never lifted weights and was scared of injuring myself, I also didn’t know if I was strong enough to even get through a class. Turns out…Travis is a consummate professional- he has a deep knowledge of his field and is dedicated to our safety and success. He makes a point of getting to know everyone. He has endless modifications up his sleeve so that everyone can do some version of every exercise. He actively keeps an eye on everyone and takes the time to provide individualized feedback to help improve form and to ensure the best and most effective class experience for each of us. We are the happy beneficiaries of the community he has built and the massive amount of work he has put into creating an incredible fitness experience. Also, and importantly, the music is rad and sometimes he brings his dogs!
If you had told me 6 months ago that I’d be sad to miss a strength training class, there is a 0% chance that I would’ve believed you. And yet here we are. Thanks so much Travis!

I’ve been going to fortitude fitness for 4 months now, and it’s the greatest decision I’ve made in that time- I only wish I started sooner! After a pretty severe concussion a few years back, I found myself struggling in the process of getting back to all of the mountain activities and sports that I previously enjoyed. Working out at fortitude fitness has not only built my physical strength and gotten me back out on the trails, but also, most notably my mental stamina, strength and confidence. Travis and his coaches are a class act. They care about your health and wellness. Ive been a member for about 3 months and I enjoy the variety of workouts and the times they are offered. Most classes have a morning and evening option. Additionally Fortitude is the most well organized gym I’ve joined. I am beyond thrilled that I was referred to Travis! I have been dealing with a shoulder injury & doing all sorts of things to try & heal it (chiro, accupuncture, massage) and going to him was GAME CHANGING. While I had been getting better slowly but surely, I can't emphasize enough how impactful working with Travis has been. I have only seen him twice so far and I am amazed at the progress we have made & how much better I feel. Even just after the first time going to him, the difference was remarkable and I finally feel like I'm on a trajectory to full recovery. Not only does he do great work (although definitely painful at times!!! it's a part of it!) during the appointment, but he is all about giving you exercises that you can do on your own to continue your healing & maintain your fitness. I love how he says he wants to give your health back to YOU. I moved to Bend recently so I'm still in the process of finding all my new people...I call it "my team" (you know, manicurist, hair dresser, dentist, doctor, etc.)- and I could not be more thankful that I met Travis - he is definitely one of my new favorite people & he is already such an important part of my team!

Love this place! I'm not a gym guy, I've rarely belonged to any, it's not my thing, usually. But the training here is inspiring - I've been here 1.5yrs and I'm sticking with it! I'm in my 40s and never lifted weights previously, but with clear instruction from Travis, I felt safe trying it, and I'm really enjoying it - not to mention being considerably stronger than I've been...ever!
I never get bored. Every workout is different, so you're always engaged. In the past, I've done classes and had routines, and they just get dull, until I leave. But at Fortitude, you never know what today's workout is going to be. Cardio could be bikes, rower, running, or just a really active circuit. We work on strength as well as mobility and agility. Working out here has helped me take my skiing to the next level, too.

I like that the group is encouraging and that all levels of fitness can work together. The instruction is clear and makes use of every second. All of them. Every last second. I wish I had met Travis 20 years ago!
I joined Fortitude Fitness Training to help me deal with the stress of everyday life and I wanted to get stronger and lose weight at 52 years old. I never really liked going to the Gym because I never really felt results and I didn't know what to do to get them.
