Amy has worked to cultivate this studio to hold space for all bodies. I’ve been having private sessions for quite awhile and my form has definitely improved with her personalized sessions. Can’t wait to take a group class when I can fit it in my schedule!

I’ve been practicing yoga for 25+ years and truly well-trained, skillful, experienced instructors are hard to come by. The vibe of the studio and the quality of the teaching at FBY are ABSOLUTELY STELLAR. After just a couple months of attending regularly, a bunch of aches and pains I’ve been living with for years are gone. I’m feeling stronger and so much more present in my body, mind, and spirit. This spot is the real deal!

Full Bodied Yoga is an oasis for all humans. Inviting, airy and calming, it’s a great place to exercise and connect with others. Mayanna is an exceptional teacher, with a deep knowledge of how bodies work. I highly recommend one of her private sessions to get started on your wellness journey.

Amy is an exceptional instructor who explains the movements in a way that helps you comprehend the purpose of each pose. After practicing yoga for over seven years, I’ve discovered new ways to move and flow during these classes. It’s a great challenge and a beautiful space to practice in!

Both the yoga and Pilates are great. As an athlete, I need to work on both strength and flexibility as I believe that being in shape is the ability to maintain body position. A weekly dose of full bodied yoga provides me with fundamental coordination to achieve these shapes or positions Great teaches, just good for the body and good for the mind. I wish I could go every day.

I had a great morning yoga experience in this lovely studio with instructor Amy. The studio is conveniently located in the heart of Portland near transit lines. Amy shared expert tips and adjustments with me throughout the session for getting the most out of the poses. I felt the atmosphere was very relaxing and welcoming. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I cannot recommend Amy and her lovely studio enough. Sadly I only got to attend 3 or 4 classes before a foot injury (not yoga related!) kept me out, but I really look forward to returning soon. Amy possesses a combination of kindness, acceptance, and straightforwardness that I greatly appreciate. She takes the time to give individual attention to her students, correct posture, and even incorporate poses that she feels will help their current sources of physical discomfort or distress. It is lovely to be in such a welcoming space where I never worried that my shirt falling forward might expose a belly that would “gross someone out” (so awful that we think this way, but it’s a fact of life for many), or that the person behind me would be offended by the size of my butt! The space is airy and relaxing, with a nice restroom anc changing room; prices are very reasonable, too. I’m excited to heal up fully, return to see Amy, and also to try the offerings of her other instructors!

I took my first class here today and wow!! I’m not normally a yoga girl but the energy in this studio mixed with the postures for strength and mobility sold me! Amy was the teacher and her cues were super helpful. It was clear that every move & breath were intentional. She provided modifications that made the poses more meaningful for my body. I really appreciated that! You can tell the studio really centers around inclusivity and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The studio itself has beautiful big windows and high ceilings! It was a comfortable and warm space. If you’ve ever felt a bit intimidated by yoga but wanted to try, pop in here. Your heart & body will be happy!

Definitely recommend and will be going back.

I’m usually pretty apprehensive to yoga as classes don’t typically include my fitness and mobility level but the class I took at full bodied yoga was both accessible and challenging.

SE location is convenient and parking in the neighborhood wasn’t hard to find.

I just took my first class at Full Bodied Yoga with Amy, and I’m already hooked! The studio is absolutely beautiful – peaceful, spacious, and perfectly set up to make you feel relaxed the moment you walk in. Parking was super easy, which is always a plus. The whole vibe of the space is warm, welcoming, and inclusive – I instantly felt comfortable. Amy’s teaching was fantastic. Everything was accessible, creative, and felt really good in my body. I’m so glad to have this new studio in the neighborhood and can't wait to go back and try more classes!

The instructors are welcoming, inclusive, and knowledgeable. I've attended three evening classes and always walk away feeling incredible!

Beautiful, peaceful space. The parking was tricky until I found a lil pay lot ($3) right next to the studio. I haven’t taken a yoga class in a long time but I didn’t feel awkward or judged.
