Functional Fitness is a small independent personal training studio.
My name is Jenn and I am a NASM certified personal trainer, and a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
I help people strengthen and move their body so the can regain freedom and independence in performing daily life.

Jenn is WONDERFUL! I am so glad I found her — instead of a typical trainer. She took the time to understand my body’s weaknesses & goals in relation to wanting to excel at rock climbing. She is sooo knowledgeable and if she doesn’t know something, I know my next session she will have a plethora of information to tailor my workouts to my needs ♥️

I met Jenn before her own studio and instantly had a connection! She's so kind and knowledgeable! When I first started seeing her I could not touch my toes and after many sessions focusing on my hamstrings, we discovered my lombar was super tight! It was the other half of the mystery of "why can't I touch my toes?" (my hamstrings being the other half). After we started focusing on stretching it I was able to start hinging forward. I felt like the Tin Man after getting oiled and never realized how stuck my body was. Jenn takes time to educate you on your body and takes special interest in your own individual needs. I have had so much progression with Jenn and will be starting up with her again soon!

Jenn worked with me for about a year at the start of my fitness journey. She was fun and emphatic, and great at listening to what I needed and wanted. She kept me going even when I didn't want to work out. I was devastated when she left my area. She is my absolute favorite trainer.

Highly recommend Jenn! She is extremely knowledgeable in all areas. I have been struggling with menopausal weight gain. She was able to work with my specific issues and come up with a plan that actually worked for my body type. Now I am actually seeing results. I also liked the one on one attention rather than going to a public gym.
