Ben, the owner, is flat-out rude. When a gym policy he told me abut over the phone conflicted with what was stated on his website, I read to him, and he said that he didn't know why it said that but what he was telling me was the correct version - all in the most unnecessarily curt manner. No apology for the confusion, or any niceties. I decided against my better judgement to go ahead and sign my child up, but we quickly cancelled. The owner's dog that he brings to the office growled at my other child (who wasn't doing anything except LOOKING at the dog from a few feet away while watching her sister from the only viewing window). Additionally, the teacher was awful too. She didn't even introduce herself to my child, didn't reassure her at all, just acted like my child should know what she was doing on her first day. The both acted like they hate their jobs, their lives. I'd give them zero starts if I could.

My granddaughter had her birthday party here last weekend (4th birthday). She absolutely loved it and so did her friends. There was quite a range of kids there for the party (2-10) and all of them had a blast! The party room was perfect for cake after. My grandkids all want to do gymnastics now!

Transferred my little girl to this place. We tried other locations but she didn’t like gymnastics until she started coming here. The teachers are friendly but can teach real gymnastics in a “kiddie” (not rigid) way. My kiddo’a coordination and skills improved after only 3 visits!

Destiny is super sweet and a very skilled coach. She made us feel so welcome at our first class last Saturday. She is amazing with kids and mine is very anxious. We look forward to seeing her again this Saturday

We love Jewarts! We have been so thankful that Ben & Amanda have come to Wilsonville & our daughter Makenna (10) and our two sons Mark(9)& Ben (7) and most recently Jack (4) have loved doing gymnastics here! We have been at Jewarts since right after they opened & have appreciated the skills, agility, strength & confidence that they have gained through there experience at Jewarts! Thankful for their focus on first building up their infrastructure & providing a great experience for the kids! Hope to see them continue to grow & look forward to being apart of their continued success!!!

Our 5 year old has been taking toddler gymnastics at JGNW for a little over 2 years. We find Ben and his staff to be compassionate, caring, and just terrific with kids. Our son loves it and sometimes asks if we can go to gymnastics instead of the playground. Highly recommend !

We just began sending our daughter to Jewart's this Fall and she loves it so much that she signed up to attend twice a week, even though she is only a preschooler. Having attended another gymnastics gym last spring in Indiana and after doing a fair amount of research on what this area had to offer (Metro Gymnastics, Westside Dance and Gymnastics Academy, Kinetic Gymnastics, etc) I was very impressed with Jewart's setup. Their focus is entirely on the kids and making sure that they are safe, having a great time, and getting the most out of their gymnastics experience. Certainly, it would be convenient to have a front office manager, but given the option between that and excellent, focused instruction with a small class size, I prefer the latter. I highly recommend Jewart's. Thank you Ben and Amanda for working so hard to bring us this wonderful place!

My Grandkids have been going here for a couple of years now. I have found Ben to be very responsive to any questions or scheduling issues I have had. He is very good with the kids and my Grandson loves having him for a coach. I understand he doesn't have office staff and prefers to put that money into the gym. I have no issue with that. It is extremely obvious that he and Amanda really care about the kids in their program. Keep up the good work!

We've had a good experience at Jewarts and have recommended it to others. Ben and Amanda are excellent coaches. Our daughter is in the Excel program which she really enjoys. We have been at Jewarts a little over a year and had the pleasure of watching the gym expand significantly in that short time. It's a great program!

We started sending our daughter to Jewarts Gymnastics for something fun to do to keep her moving. She loves it there and so do I. They run an excellent shop. It's got a ma and pa feel but when you see them coaching you realize they're teaching based on skill and passion for the sport.
I've always had great interactions with the owners. They were always prompt in their responses and quite reasonable. We had my daughters birthday party here and two other kids were signed up before we left.
We have attended gym parties at a number of other gyms that were either more like a boot camp or just less equipped than Jewarts. It made us more confident in our decision.

I am genuinely surprised by the negative reviews I am reading about Jewart's!! The owners (Ben and Amanda) are incredible with the kids and great at what they do! Personally I have never had an issue with rudeness or arrogance and feel the owners are doing a great job handling the exponential growth of their business. It appears some parents don’t understand what it takes to run your own business and the apparent juggle and stress that come with operating and instructing at the same time. The owners are great gymnast instructors; not receptionist, secretaries or cashiers. Yes, it will be nice for the customer service side once they are in a position to hire a full time secretary. However my experience over the last year with communication, customer service and billing has been great. I personally enjoy the ease of automatic tuition withdrawal and the e-mailing of my monthly statements.
It’s sad to see parents making unjustified personal attacks towards the owners who are visibly focused on investing and growing the environment to give our kids the best chance at success; including hiring great teachers and being great instructors themselves! What strikes me as interesting is that all recent negative reviews were submitted at the same time; coincidence? The consistency of the previous reviews and timing tells me there are a few overly sensitive parents conspiring to professionally hurt a small business owner because their “needs” aren’t being met to their standard. I can confidently say the focus and attention is on our kid’s needs, growing their experience and abilities. My child and I have had nothing but great experiences with Jewart’s over the last year. We would not consider going anywhere else!!

My daughter and I both love this place. My daughter is four years old and currently enrolled in JGNW's Preschool2 Class. She started out when she was two years old and very shy. Ben and the staff have always been awesome. They gave my daughter a trial class for Preschool1. That didn't work out. My daughter was a little too young and attached to daddy. Ben was cool about it and gave us a second trial class for wobblers and walkers. Once we figured out what class she was going to, Ben personally helped me fill out her registration and got her set up right away. Fast forward to now. My daughter has been there two years and has developed physically, mentally, and socially. She can control her body and do crazy things for a four year old. She takes direction well, understands authority, and gets along great with other kids . It is great to know that as a parent, JGNW is there helping to instruct my kid in the same direction I am. Any concern or question I've ever had, I've been able to email Ben directly and get a prompt response. I recommend JGNW 100%.
I've seen some negative reviews about JGNW and Ben Jewart. It's BS. First off, put your name on it. Be an adult, don't use a nickname or abbreviated name. JGNW is easy to do business with and cares about my child. Again, I 100% support JGNW and I am happy to share my experience as a parent who currently has a child enrolled there.

My 1st grade twins have been attending classes at Jewarts Gymnastics for over a year. My son loves the boys class - it's great that Coaches Ben and Amanda reach out to include boys classes - it's helps my son with confidence and teamwork. My daughter loves her class and her coaches. We've watched other families children reach new levels as athletes and are proud to be a part of Jewarts Gymnastics. Ben cares about all the families and their needs. We appreciate Jewarts Gymnastics.

I cannot say enough about how thankful I am for Ben and Amanda and their amazing gym. Our son has been taking gymnastics here for almost two years, since shortly after Jewart's NW opened. He has grown so much, not just as a gymnast but, more importantly, as a person. Ben is a truly remarkable coach. He has a strong sense of how to maintain high expectations and push the kids to achieve more than they think they can, while still offering the support and encouragement needed to keep persevering through the challenges.
As I talk with parents at other gyms, I realize that Ben and Amanda have a unique perspective about the role gymnastics takes in kids' lives. They are clear about the degree of commitment it takes to do gymnastics, especially at the competitive level, but they also recognize that life is about more than just gymnastics. They tell the kids that family comes first, then school, then gymnastics. If we miss a few weeks in the summer for a family vacation, they're honest about the fact that re-entry will be hard, but they also are supportive of our priorities as a family.
I've seen a few reviews from parents who have struggled with the fact that the gym doesn't have a receptionist or office staff. While I agree that it might be nice to have someone managing those details, I am thankful that Ben and Amanda have prioritized hiring excellent teachers/coaches and providing our kids with quality equipment as they build a world-class gym from the ground up.

We began at Jewart's 2 years ago and have had an amazing experience. After going to a different gym prior, I can tell you that Jewart's is professional, clean, caring, compassionate, truthful, and all about giving the children the best experience possible. Ben treats the gymnasts as the children they are and the parents as the adults they are. We greatly appreciate, as parents, that he responds promptly and professionally even when the gym isn't open. Our daughter absolutely loves him and Amanda, her teammates, and that she gets to do gymnastics at JGNW.

Our family absolutely loves this gym. I would recommend this gym to anyone. The coaches are absolutely amazing and my kids love it. It really is amazing to see how much my kids have progressed in such a short time. We are so lucky that an amazing gym has opened up so close to us. What I love is that my kids always leave with a big smile on their face.
The ownership is also pretty amazing. We started attending right when they opened up and have watched the place grow like crazy and can't wait to see what else is in store. What I really like about the owner is that he has been honest with us from day one. You can tell he has our kids best interest in mind when he tells us what class they should be in. Nothing is sugar coated which is the way it should be when I really want to know how my kids are doing because how else can I help my kids if I don't know what is really going on. I've never had any issues with the owner and staff and if I did I know the issue would be taken care of because they are running a great business. I think what he is doing with this gym is pretty amazing.
Everything about this gym is awesome and I recommend this gym to everyone.

We began Jewart's last spring. We registered both our daughters, whom love all sorts of activities. Jewart's and Ben, the owner, were so helpful in registering our children, accommodating their needs pertaining to class levels, and helping us schedule them in classes that work best for us as a family. I love that they do not pressure these kids to only be in gymnastics as they grow; as well as providing support, expertise, and challenging children who have the desire to only do gymnastics. Jewart's expertise has helped my children and their skills in all sports, and gave them more confidence across the board than ever before. We are very much dedicated to soccer, horseback riding, snowboarding, and other sports, we greatly appreciate how they focus on helping the "whole" child grow. We love, love, love, this place! We are so happy to continue this Fall!

My daughter attended here until I had to relocate for my job. I am thankful we moved our her of this gym! The owner acts like he is straight out of "Dance Moms"...dramatic, difficult, arrogant. The only reason this gym remains open is because the individual teachers are awesome, and because there's no place else close by. But if I had to do it again, I would drive twice as far and pay twice as much to avoid Jewart's Gyms.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the owner, Ben Jewart, but before writing a review, I wanted to wait and see if maybe he was just having a bad day. Nope. Maybe he's a good coach, but he should not be running an office. Now I deeply regret starting my child here...my kid likes the classes and their teacher. Too bad the owner is such an...well, can't say it in public. What we really need is some competition. Its the best cure for bad behavior.

The classes are great, but the front office is disorganized and chaotic. Ben, the owner, is rude. He was totally unprepared to accept my daughter's enrollment, confused with handling money, but then gets angry and unprofessional when a parent stands up to him. I WOULD LEAVE IN A HEARTBEAT, but my daughter loves her instructor and enjoys the classes. WE REALLY NEED ANOTHER GYM TO OPEN IN WILSONVILLE....PLEASE!
