Rebel Fit Club is the largest Parkinson's specific gym in the Pacific NW and is headquarters to the first 5 Rock Steady Boxing Programs in Oregon. We are a community of fighters, trainers, and coaches committed to the fight against Parkinson's and helping people live better.
Through non-contact boxing, dance, tai chi and other therapies specifically designed to off-set symptoms of Parkinson's, we provide hope to people and their families experiencing neurological conditions such as PD. Best of all, you never feel alone and you will have a lot of fun. We also provide personal training to those who want a more specialized attention.

I am very happy to report that I have known about the Rebel Fit Club and Kimberly for several years. Rock Steady Boxing is one of the best ways to fight Parkinson’s Disease. But you must remain consistent each day.
The Virtual Zoom program technology on the internet has allowed me to to continue to continue to retain my exercise skills as well as regain many of the mental recognizance factors I thought I'd never recover from. . Tremendous results for all of us, in these groups plus support. Couldn’t rate it any higher!!!

The smartest thing I've done since being diagnosed with Parkinson's is join the Kimberly Berg's Rebel Fit Club.

If you have Parkinson’s, you need to check Rebel Fitness out. I was in Oregon for a month visiting. I wanted to see how they do rocksteady boxing in Oregon. I already do it in Los Angeles, so I thought I knew what to expect. Kimberly is definitely one of a kind. She has quite a following in Oregon. Rebel Fitness is the one stop exercise center for people with Parkinson’s. if you want to go to in person classes like I did, they were great. However, for most people who live somewhere else, the virtual classes are also helpful. My only regret is, there isn’t at least one Rebel fitness in every state in the country.

The Battle of Parkinson’
If your writing is shrinking
If your voice wants to shout
If your eyes forget to blink
If you stare out in wonder
If your gait is slowing
If your strut is unsteady
If your stand is stooped
If your body is stiff and stifled
Welcome to the Battle of Parkinson’s
Lift those weights
Stretch those limbs
Roll those eyes
Grab that ball
Balance that body
Step, stomp, strut
Use your voice, yell, scream, shout, cheer, …
Box, Become a Rebel Fighter
Thank you Kimberly Berg
And all her Rebel Fighters

My husband has been enjoying his sessions with the Rebel Fit Club for a few years now. On his first day, he was convinced he was not going to like it and would not be going back. When we left, one hour later, he was all smiles and could not wait until he could go back...this has not changed. Every day he goes to his boxing class he comes back with a smile on his face and has stories to share. It is not an overstatement to say that this is one of the highlights of his week! I am thankful for Kimberly and ALL of the coaches and volunteers that give Dave something to look forward to and be encouraged by.

I started at rebel fit when the pandemic closed our small local facility. I didn’t expect much and boy! was I surprised! Not only do they have one workout, there were things all through the day.. and they were online! Now that things are more normal they have cont h with online, too! Kimberly is a physical therapist; she is very involved, each day. Everyone is so positive and cheery, too! I credit these folks with a lot of good stuff that keeps this of us with PD to function at our best!

If you have a diagnosis of Parkinson's, no matter your age, you owe it to yourself to give this a try. I'm a virtual fighter (since I live two time zones away) and I can't imagine not having this in my life. I would never be able to motivate myself to do all of this on my own.

The class I take is a lot of fun and is more challenging than I thought it would be. We WORK OUT. It's tiring, but rewarding. When COVID-19 changed everything I had only been boxing for a couple of months and I was skeptical about going virtual. I signed up, in part, so I could punch things. I decided to keep an open mind about boxing via Zoom and I'm glad I did. The workouts are still just as hard and, with all the shadow boxing, I think my form has improved a ton! I also like the convenience of boxing from home and all the time I save by not traveling to and from the gym. I'll get back there some day (I'd like to pound that heavy bag again!). In the meantime, Rebel Fit Club from home is totally workin' for me!

I have tried many.forms of exercise to help manage Parkinson''s - walking, dance, yoga, cardio, boxing. Doing virtual workouts with the Rebel Fit Club is one of the best. The early morning class puts me in a great place to start my day on the right foot. Coach Brandy's routines are energizing and help to deal with early morning stiffness. I find the music to be therapeutic and motivating. I am in class 6-7 days/week. and I love every minute.

I love everything about this business. I began working out with Kimberly the week after I was diagnosed with Parkinsons. Soon after I graduated to Boot Camp which is more challenging. I have more confidence and less worried about having Parkinsons. I get many compliments about how well I am doing.

The virtual classes we've had since the pandemic hit have been real life savers for me. Kimberly and her wonderful dedicated staff worked out a schedule so that there was some class for every level of difficulty every day! These classes have become my "mood elevator" of choice. Thanks so much for all the extra effort you've put in even when you were having wildfires all around your home!

Whether you're looking to take your overall fitness to the next level, or increase your stamina, agility or strength, this is the place for you! Unexpected bonus: yesterday's bone density test showed that spinal osteopenia has been reversed -- now back in normal range. BTW, I'm 80 yo and working out 4 times a week with Brandy to learn how to become a better boxer. Turning into a speed bag addict. Color me a very happy camper!

Kimberly and the other coaches are not only supportive, but extremely knowledgeable. Kimberly has years of experience working with people that have PD and shares it with us by offering a variety of methods and classes that slow down PD’s progression. She even made sure that we wouldn’t fall behind in our efforts when the pandemic hit us, by offering us a variety of virtual options. I can’t imagine what I would do without the Rebel Fit Club!

I am a retired physician and was diagnosed with PD three years ago. My wife and I were stunned by this news. I was just coexisting with my tremor and other symptoms but not being very proactive with the disease until I heard about boxing as a form of exercise and called Kimberly. I met her in her gym and she evaluated me, and I started classes, twice per week on the spot. (I went home with Boxing Gloves!)
Kimberly was so knowledgeable and empathetic, so supportive and encouraging that I felt extremely comfortable...less alone; it was not just Sandy and I. There was a whole community of "Fighters" out there I had not known about. People just like me with the same diagnosis, symptoms, and facing the same problems and fears I was facing.
So I jumped in and was made to feel welcome.
We meet twice per week...and virtually five times per week (thanks to Covid). Together we would exercise, box, sweat, talk and fight this disease together. That's the word...together. Thank you Kimberly, Lisa, Brandy, and all the volunteers for helping me work at this new phase of life I have been dealt; I know I am not alone.
