Great place to workout! Has all the modern, high-tech equipment! And some locations have a salt-water pool!

I love this gym because it’s never too crowded outside the rush hours and you never see too many of the typical f***boys you do at 24 hour fitness, really bummed they are closing

Very disappointed with new gym hours. I enrolled 1 month ago because the hours worked for me. They sudently changed gym hours without notifying members. I work 9-6pm and they closed now at 6pm???

I love the separate women's section work out area. Most of the weights are already set at my strength. Not as many people there either.

Really needs to be reminded or upgraded. Seems like an old Bally's that tge y took over. Good selection of old iron weights, really old outdated machines. Really bad old dirty locker room.

Great place to workout. Always a machine available. Nice crowd that are friendly. Older. But gets the job done and worth every penny. Getting the steamroom working more often would make it perfect.

Smaller neighborhood gym, plenty of equipment, great friendly workers. Free classes. Very reasonable sign up and monthly fees.

The machines are old but the staff is nice and the price is right. I never have trouble finding a machine to use, even when it's busy.

Cosy, old fashioned gym with friendly office staff. Separate women's weight room, but the general weight room is co-ed and non-intimidating. If you want more precision with the machines, that's the room to be in. Everyone is focused on their workout.
Showers, saunas and steam rooms are tidy and in each locker room. Thank goodness!
Classes are very full, so get your spot early.

La Fitness is a decent run company however this location is very limited. Call in advance so you arent surprised of just visit another of their locations.

I've been at this gym for a two years and taking one off. They upgraded the free weights to match all the other clubs. The new one on 82nd is cool but i prefer this location as it's not to packed and you can actually get in a workout. The staff are cool and will do their best to answer your questions.

We have to remember this is a health club not a day care. Go in workout and go home. If something is dirty then clean it or get staff to do it.

Best time to go is 6 to 9. I prefer 7 to 9.

If you're healthy person and you like to be respected do not come to this place the workers and the operation manager that work in this LA fitness are the absolute worst to even deal with they do not show any signs of care or respect.

One word: WiFi. They finally got WiFi but the signal strength has never been good enough any of the times I have been there to actually use it. Otherwise, the equipment and atmosphere is great but the WiFi situation is becoming a deal breaker for me.

Free wifi finally! Love going to this gym because A) it is not packed 24/7 B) you can find working equipment to use and C) Friendly staff. The only, only, complaint I have is that it is way too hot inside. It feels like the desk people have the temp set for them not for people who are working out like crazy. No one likes to sweat before they reach equipment.

I was happy with this gym for a long time. I started going back to the gym after my second child was 9 months old and it was great:) I could go anytime of day, which was great!... As i have a busy day with 2 little kids. NOW i can only go from 8:30-noon and 4-8. The kids club has extremely limited hours now. I find i am rarely at the gym now, with my kids in preschool etc its hard to fit into this schedule ive been given now. I am extremely unhappy with this great new change la fitness has made. Also why do i want to come during the busiest hours??

Lots of windows and natural light throughout the workout area. Nice chill vibe. 4G reception throughout the facility (no problem streaming music). Plenty of cardio machines. Friendly staff. Can't complain at all!

So far so good! I just joined after checking out other clubs in the clackamas/Happy Valley area. First I went to Premier where I had something stolen from me and the manager did nothing AND their machines are never working properly…. then went to 24 hour fitness and was attacked at the door to join, it was too crowded, and too many stairs to get to the cardio area. When I walked into LA Fitness it was much more relaxed. After getting a tour of the gym I was happy to see there was a women's only workout area, steam room and sauna! All day kids club hours which the other gyms did not have. The atmosphere was great and had a good vibe. I was pretty much sold so I joined. No membership fees and better rate than other places, AND no contract. Helloooo you can't beat this! :)

I notice someone here wrote "best machines in town"….are you kidding? The equipment is ridiculously old and outdated. The Nautilus machines look like they're leftover from the '80's (no exaggeration). Even the free weights look like they've been around for 20 years. The cardio machines are also all outdated, the locker rooms are filthy and the entire place looks dirty. I was astounded that ANYONE would actually pay money to go to this gym.

OMG! This place is clueless in regards to customer service. First off it is run by very young and inexperienced staff who are not empowered to make logical decisions without "checking with corporate" which may take a week or more. Beware of signing for personal training sessions as they seem to have a problem with you using them. You may get there and find out that the person making your appt didn't put it in correctly and you are screwed. No effort to make things right without (you guessed it) calling corporate. If you pay in full, they have your $ for sessions, $30 per month membership, a trainer who is available, but won't let you use the service you PAID for. Hello...YOU HAVE MY MONEY! For God's sake just let me use what I PAID for! By the way, I have belonged to a gym since the 70's and this is the worst. Can't wait to use up my training sessions so I can sever this unsatisfactory relationship.

no complaints other than the air freshener they have in the wt lifting area and locker room for that matter. I come to the gym to get healthy and not breathe in hormone disrupting chemicals of air freshener. It's a place where you come to sweat, it's not going to smell perfect.
