Best Bikram studio in Portland, hands down.
Mija Yoga is everything you want in a hot yoga studio: clean, welcoming, and incredibly well run. The teachers are consistently fantastic, supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping you grow in your practice. The energy in the room is always positive and grounding, and the overall vibe makes you want to show up again and again.

So grateful for Mija! This place has been a total life changer for me. I started as a total newbie to this Yoga and found a practice that has challenged me and supported me in evolving as a person.
I absolutely have changed on a physical and mental level by coming to Mija on a regular basis. Literally it feels like I am inhabiting a new body. My capacity for handling life has also skyrocketted.
The teachers are all so skilled and adept at leading the classes, and I get something out of every different class I go to. The community here is amazing too. I love the people at Mija!
This practice is challenging, but it will straight up change your life. Especially with the incredible vibes cultivated here by Adrianna, all of the instructors and the yogis there. See you in class!

I'm a new member to the studio, and I've been very impressed so far. The space is clean and welcoming, and the staff are professional and personable. The Hot Yoga experience is like nothing else I've experienced. I feel stronger, healthier, and mentally refreshed after the 90 minute sessions, which are very welcoming for beginners.

Go to hot yoga.❤️🔥
This is a place where you will be humbled and you will be energized. This is a place to wipe you out and give you tremendous strength. This is a place to sweat and smile.
We are so lucky to have a hot yoga studio here in our neighborhood. This woman-owned business is well-cared for, filled with kind people, and is always welcoming, even if you can't make it in for a few weeks.
Remember, there are a variety of instructors and there is strength in diversity. Each one supports your growth in different ways. Get to hot yoga and feel your mind, spirit, and body change.

I started to take classes as a beginner. There is no need to be intimidated even as a beginner. Students are in different skill levels and you just need to focus on yourself. If there is any question, instructors take time to help you. The studio is very clean and welcome atmosphere!

I've been going 1-2 times a week for around 3 months now and i've enjoyed the consistency of the classes. I've found hot yoga to be a nice strain that helps me push through a ton of physical boundaries. The staff and social environment is very friendly and the room is always nice and clean.

While the studio was clean, friendly, and cute, as a fellow yoga instructor, I cannot recommend the class taught by Jeannie. The teaching style is an out-dated Bikram yoga, and the way the instructor taught was dangerous to students. Please update your instructors to be well informed that everyone’s body, musculoskeletal system, and ability is different. No matter how someone looks, their body can be hiding and holding pain. Encouraging postures in a “one size fits all” modality is out-dated and quite frankly dangerous. Statements like "lock your legs," "stretch or push until it hurts," “you won’t get the full benefit until you do ____” and making personal corrections are inappropriate, especially when a student has already expressed being injured. Yoga teachers should empower students to explore what feels good in their bodies, rather than pressuring them into achieving a specific form of a pose. Find modifications for your students!!! Not everyone can or should bend their spine back, have their toes touch, or try for full extension. I cannot recommend this class and I hope the studio provides teachers with updated training to foster a more inclusive, safe, and body-positive practice for all students.

Beautiful space to practice hot yoga. If you're new to it, prepare to be amazed at how good you'll feel after. There are people from all walks of life who practice. You'll benefit from this practice no matter if you can do all 26 postures, whether you remain flat on your back getting used to the heat, or somewhere in between. "All you have to do is breath. Everything else is optional." 💚
This is a very clean, vibrant, supportive space with 2 bathrooms, 2 showers (one in each changing space), and FRESH kombucha from a tap! Wow! And the greatest yoga instructors around! Double wow!

This place has it all! A nice locker room with a shower and storage, wool carpet with alternating block colors for spacing and alignment support, an amazing owner with an inspiring practice, several talented instructors each bringing their unique skill sets to the practice, plenty of free parking, reasonable rates, filtered water, kombucha on tap, an area to be social and connect with the other practitioners, heat and humidity, a quiet space with adequate lighting, and great full wall mirrors. Bikram yoga is an all in one movement and meditation. One you do in community. I regularly refer patients to the practice for the remarkable benefits. I highly recommend this place. Come practice with us!

Found my home. I felt so welcomed and cared for day 1, all the teachers are incredible, and the students are so kind. I’ve been going for almost a month, and fully intend to practice here for the foreseeable future. This place has helped my life turn around in a healthy direction. I am so grateful.

I am forever grateful that we have got hot (aka Bikram) yoga back in St Johns!! I feel 10 years younger when I do hot yoga, at least. It helps me with my lower back pain, my overall stiffness, balance, etc. And this is the nicest, most encouraging bunch of people you’ll ever meet.

Mija is a great studio and an outstanding yoga experience. The teachers are deeply experienced, compassionate and committed exponents of the Ghosh lineage. The community is warm and welcoming, due largely to owner Adrianna's gift and passion for bringing people together. I cannot recommend Mija too highly!

Can’t say enough about Mija Hot Yoga and the lovely & dedicated founder Adrianna. The studio is welcoming, spacious, and a great place for seasoned yogis, new practitioners, and everyone in between.
Bikram yoga classes are no doubt a challenge, but Mija creates a safe and playful environment to try something new, go deeper into your practice and find a sense of community in movement.
You can tell within a coupla minutes while talking to Adrianna that cares so deeply about what she’s building with staff and yogis at Mija. She’s quick to make you feel right at home, answer your questions about the practice if you’re new, and offer words of encouragement and celebration when you finish a class.
What are you waiting for!!?? Get yourself to Mija for a class!

Mija Hot Yoga is in the location of Home Hot Yoga's former brick and mortar studio! Mija is a totally new studio, however if you ever visited Home, you will see many familiar friendly faces at Mija, both among students and staff. The teachers are highly trained, compassionate yoga professionals who care deeply about their students. The owner is a dedicated student of yoga herself who is passionate about creating an environment where EVERY person who enters feels welcome and appreciated. The yoga room has a constant (heated) flow of fresh outside air along with plenty of natural light and antimicrobial flooring. The yoga classes are Bikram Yoga (aka 26&2 or Original Hot Yoga) Every class is perfect for beginners. Practice 2x a week and you will transform your life, possibly in ways you didn't even expect!
