Awesome staff and I love that this location is less busy than Salem. It definitely needs some A/C or more air flow though. Also, it would be awesome if the front window was frosted and/or if there was a reserved parking space for Y members as there is rarely any parking during afternoon/evening hours.

I was told by the woman who dents up the teams that they wanted to limit soccer to ten kids and she didn’t like that she had to make two teams already. Lots more kids and families are missing out because she wants to keep her job simple not fair. Find a new person to run the Y that gives all the kids a chance to play that want to in the community

My wife and I started going here about 5 months ago. We have had nothing but great experiences. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and capable. There treadmills, free weights, a squat rack, a machine for every muscle/muscle group and plenty of classes if you are into that sort of thing. There is rarely more than 2-3 in the gym at the same time as me. I really love being a member here and will continue to be as long as I am in Independence.
