At MOVE PILATES we are dedicated to helping clients of all ages and fitness levels change their lives and health in a positive way.
Group classes are limited to five students, ensuring you receive one-on-one attention while developing core strength, improved body awareness and postural alignment, better balance, increased flexibility, and stamina. Please join us in our studio filled with natural light and positive energy where all fitness levels will feel welcome. We are located next to the Box Factory between Old Mill and Downtown Bend, within walking distance to the Deschutes River and local coffee shops and food trucks to visit before or after class.

I have been taking Pilates faithfully for 20 years, and, at 75, I attribute it to my continued strength, fitness and well-being. When I moved to Bend 7 years ago, I tried a couple of studios that did not meet my high standards. Then I found Move Pilates Bend and have taken classes there twice a week ever since. It’s a lovely small studio with great equipment and excellent teachers. The classes are small, no more than five in a class, so we all receive lots of personal attention to ensure our safety and maximize physical benefits. I wouldn’t take Pilates anywhere else.

Move Pilates has been the best Pilates studio for me! The classes are small and the location is great. Most of all, the instructors are very experienced and professional. I am watched over for executing the moves correctly and safely. Natalie also makes sure to change up the repertoire, so it’s challenging! After doing Pilates for 8 years, I have to say, that after ten months at Move, I am in the best shape I have ever been in.

Pilates is an essential for this 70+ year old in maintaining flexibility and strength, as well as good mobility and balance. The instructors at Move Pilates are professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and really caring. Many different levels, and varieties of classes are offered here, and at times to accommodate any schedule. The studio is bright and clean. Training here is an overall great experience.

I love going to Move Pilates! I have been taking group classes for 15 years. I love how small the classes are and there are so many during the week to choose from. I love the variety from all the instructors using the chair, mat, reformer and all the props they have to offer. If I miss a week of classes for vacations, etc. my body definitely feels it and needs the balance and strength it provides. I highly recommend Move!

As a former yogi with on and off back pain, I was looking for something with more structure and smaller class sizes to get back into shape for my upcoming wedding. I found just that, and so much more, at Move Pilates. After my first private session with Renee, I was hooked. She taught me the foundations to feel confident in any class. I've been taking group classes for about seven months now, and have seen noticeable improvements in my posture, strength, flexibility, and balance – which has improved my mobility in other activities as well. All the classes are fantastic, and the instructors are friendly and attentive. The studio itself is also beautiful, clean, and bright. I can't recommend them enough!

I’ve been going to Pilates classes with Renee for almost two years now. She’s great at working with students of all abilities they learn, and when I’ve been injured from sports and life outside the studio, she’s made modifications to help me. Move Pilates is a great studio. I have been so impressed with the improvement in my strength, balance and posture. I feel I am in such a better place physically than I was before I started Pilates. The instructors at Move Pilates really cater to the ability of each student even in group sessions. I am an elderly woman and feel much more youthful than I should-thanks largely to Pilates! The classes are also very reasonably priced and they currently have new client specials.

Move Pilates Bend is a really wonderful pilates studio. I have been doing pilates for 10+ years and the past year at Move Pilates. Move Pilates has helped me build core strength for my not so great lower back. The classes are fun and challenging with lots of different classes and levels to try. The instructors provide a safe and educational environment. I always leave class feeling good and ready to take on my day. Move Pilates is a great studio that I highly recommend! I attended my first intro class with no Pilates experience and felt super comfortable. I’ve now been a student for over a year. Classes are capped at 5 people, so you are getting great individual instruction as part of the group class. The classes are different each time, so I always feel challenged.

I am SO GLAD I decided to get started at Move Pilates, in Bend! I've been taking private lessons with Renee, and after our first two sessions I can already feel my body moving and working in new ways. This is saying a lot, as I'm a fitness professional and physical therapist, and I thought I knew everything about my core and hip muscles! But working on the chair and the reformer has opened my eyes to new ways of using and strengthening my muscles. Renee has done a great job tailoring my private sessions to meet my needs and my strength requirements. I plan to move into the group sessions next, after wrapping up my private sessions. I have been practising Pilates for many years and recently moved to Bend. After trying all the studios in the area, Move Pilates Bend is by far the best one!
The instructors are extremely well trained, welcoming, and they have the expertise and understanding to adjust exercises to each individual. I love how they can combine authentic classical Pilates (which I am trained in) with other methods or keep it strictly classical.
It is always engaging, challenging, and fun and has immensely increased my strength, balance, and flexibility.
I look forward to my private session or group class every week, and always walk out taller, lighter, and more engergized. I can highly recommend Move Pilates Bend, because of their dedication to Pilates and their clients.

After recognizing that years of self-directed strength training had rendered me with restricted movement, I wandered into Move Pilates in Bend not knowing what to expect but hoping for some help. Luckily, Renee (the business owner) was there. I explained my dilemma to her, and she listened intently. We decided on some private sessions to help develop a program that could deal with my flexibility concerns. Integrating various aspects of Pilates, stretching, foam roller exercises and yoga, Renee was able to create a program tailored to my specific needs. I am really pleased with the measurable progress. It was my blind luck that led me to Move Pilates and Renee. I strongly recommend this place. For a beginner like me I really appreciated the willingness to listen and individual support.

Move Pilates changed my body in the best way possible. I first started coming here six months before my wedding as a way to get in "wedding shape" (which I ultimately did because of this class!), not knowing I was about to find a workout I could maintain and enjoy the rest of my life! I tried a couple other studios in Bend before ending up here and I can say without a doubt that Move Pilates is the best reformer pilates studio I've been to. Much of that has to do with Renee. She treats her clients like friends, creates a relaxing and welcoming space, and makes pilates super approachable. Megan was great and very professional. I was very happy that she wore her mask the entire class, equipment was sanitized, she checked to make sure no one had a fever or elevated temperature and the classroom was a perfect size. First of all, I own and operate a window and blind cleaning company here in Bend and with that comes al sorts of unnatural body contortions and movements. After seeing a few physical therapists about my knees in back, I was told about the benefits that Pilates could offer. Pilates has helped me strengthen my core, knees and control my body's movements.
Me'kelle is sensitive of your abilities and will help you get the basics/form down before she moves you to more intermediate excercises. If you didn't think Pilates could give you a work out, think again! This is a great way to strengthen your body and mind, while being in a nice setting in the Old Mill district.
