The owner, Alexis, is a liability to her own store. I would never come back and never trust your kids around her. She clearly doesn't actually know what she's doing to the point of being dangerous.

I saw her allow a child to run around absolutely wild when every other kid was participating. One specific staff member tried to regulate his dangerous behavior but Alexis told this employee to ignore the child and just let him do what he wants.

Not even 5 min later, this child ran head first, full force, into a wooden bar and collapsed hysterically crying. Alexis didn't even notice what happened and didnt even seem to care. That same staff member who she told to just ignore it, was the only one paying attention. That employee had to explain what happened to Alexis because she was not paying attention at all. Then she later fired this employee even though Alexis was the one at fault. Probably covering her tracks.

The child really hurt himself. He should have been better protected by the adults in charge. Alexis was not paying any attention to this child on purpose because he is special needs. She forced her staff member to also ignore him because he is special needs. This is disturbing behavior.

That is not how you deal with special needs children at all. She should feel ashamed of herself. This incident happened because of Alexis' inability to take care of children.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about MyGym Sherwood! My 4-year-old son has been attending classes here for several months, and he absolutely loves it. Every week, he looks forward to his gymnastics class with excitement. The coaches are incredibly patient, skilled, and great with young children. My son attends My Gym classes and also had his birthday party there. Having his birthday party at My Gym was AMAZING! No stress and all fun! They take care of everything during the party. I was able to enjoy instead of running the party! My son also loves going to his class every week, and we also love going to their open play times where my son knows he gets all my attention and we just have fun playing at the gym. We love MyGym Sherwood! We just started coming here and my daughter has so much fun every class. I love how they switch up the activities each class. Staff was rude and inpatient. Did not seem focused on what they were trying to do and more with talking to each other. Attended a few of the practice and plays because we enjoyed the space, but quit going after some of the other children were being rough and nothing was being done. It is not the staffs job to discipline the child, but it is to inform the parent to keep the other kids safe. Wish we could have had a better experience but will be looking for other activities with my child.

My son and I have been having a blast at My Gym Sherwood. We have an unlimited account so can attend any classes in his age range which is super convenient. He’s super active and so ready to jump right in and participate. It’s been great for him. I love that they re-arrange the space weekly so it always seems fresh and exciting.

Only “complaint” is I wish the hadn’t got rid of the 11:10 class on Wednesday’s.

My 3 1/2 year old son absolutely loves MyGym! We first enrolled him in the preschool prep class for a few months. Now he’s in the Mini Ninja class and he loves it so much! He’s made lots of friends and he has so much fun climbing, jumping, etc thru the obstacle courses. All the staff members are super friendly and attentive, and they always greet my son by his first name, which makes him feel special and super welcomed. Alexis has been great to work with, she’s super sweet and responsive. Also an extra bonus for me personally is that both the classes are drop-off so you can have a little time for yourself if you want. Thank you MyGym! We've been going to MyGym for over a year now (I have a 5yo girl and a 2yo girl) , and it's the best! The facility is so clean, safe and well taken care of, and the staff members are very friendly. What's most impressive is how they change the play area around completely every 10 to 15 minutes, by hanging different swings, or bringing different toys in and out (and it's never the same!), so our little ones never get bored with anything! We just had our 5 year-old's birthday at MyGym, and they far surpassed our expectations! They put up the decorations beautifully beforehand, helped us set up all the food and drinks in no time when we arrived, and had a series of fun activities ready, so all the kids could have so much fun! My daughter told me that it was the best birthday she ever had, and we felt the same. So blessed to have MyGym near by, thank you!!

One of the biggest concerns I have with this company is how they speak about those with disabilities. I heard one of their staff members say that children who have certain developmental disabilities have unhealthy brains. Which is incredibly ableist to say. Clearly they have never been taught about these types of topics. So although they boast to help people with disabilities, it's just a facade. They don't actually understand what they are speaking on. From what I can tell they don't ever plan to learn either. They think that their ableism is heroism, when it is not. After looking into the reviews of other locations in different states, it is clear that this issue is something the company as a whole is known for. Including being prejudice to other demographics of people.

I have absolutely no need to explain further. In fact the female owner is one of the people with the most amount of ableism. Ironic she is claiming to have neurodivergent children given the way she treats others who are neurodivergent. Her staff feel comfortable saying things like this because of her.

We really enjoy the My Gym in Sherwood! The facility is so clean and the classes are fun, creative, engaging, lively, and new each week yet with a routine. We attend Parent/Toddler classes and some of the free-play sessions too with our Unlimited membership. The customer service and responsiveness is excellent, teachers are super friendly and get to know each child. Definitely a top notch program and we plan to attend for many years. We love My Gym! The staff are all fantastic and work very hard to ensure each child has is welcomed, supported, and developing new skills in class. My kid loves the different set-ups and getting to run around and have fun - especially when it is raining for days on end! We recently had an awesome 6th birthday party at My Gym as well. I didn't have to do anything and it was very stress-free. Exactly what I was looking for. Also to note are the parents night out events. My daughter asked us to leave so she could attend this! We visted the gym for the first time over the weekend and had a blast. My 14 month old had so much fun exploring the gym and various play areas. I loved that they had a ball pit, trampoline (big and small), slides of various sizes and more! The coaches were adding additional play items like hanging ropes and swings along with an obstacle course for the older kids which was awesome.

There was a mix of kid age groups and my little girl was able to socialize, engage and have fun. I was also impressed with how clean the place was and it didnt feel overcrowded with the parents and kids. Highly recommend checking them out and booking your class and free play online to ensure they have space. The staff was wonderful and we cant wait to go back!

I’m so happy My Gym is part of the Sherwood community. I moved to Sherwood about a year ago and my 4 year old daughter has been attending My Gym since April 2022. She has a wonderful time and her coordination, strength, confidence, and social skills have really improved. My Gym has really helped her bounce back after the Covid isolation. My 1 year old loves attending the open play sessions with her sister and I actually do too. Being new to the area, My Gym has helped me meet other parents and make adult friends while my kids socialize and play. I feel so much safer and more relaxed taking two kids to My Gym than I do at parks knowing that everything is baby proofed, it’s fully contained, and there are trustworthy staff members keeping a close eye on everyone so if I’m busy focusing on one of my kids the other one isn’t getting into trouble or wandering off. The staff members are always super nice and welcoming. Thank you My Gym staff!

Mrs. Alexis and her amazing team of teachers do such a wonderful job with the kiddos! My daughter started with Mighty Mights and then moved to Pre School Prep. She then went to the camp program this summer and is now in gymnastics. Each class has encouraged her development and fully engaged her learning. The staff encourages and up lifts each child with lots of positivity. I would highly recommend My Gym.

We have been my gym members at the Sherwood location for over a year now and love it! We love the free play classes to just get some energy out, especially on rainy days, but also love the other structured classes like Ninja or mighty mites. They make it so engaging and fun for the kids, the instructors are great, and yet make sure kids follow rules and be respectful towards one another. The owner Alexis is very friendly and you can tell she truly loves running the business. It’s also not just for babies/toddlers but older kids too (up to age 8), so great range for families.

I went to the open house today, my daughter had a blast (she was crying when we had to leave) and the staff are wonderful. They do an amazing job keeping the kiddos entertained and finding different things to keep them happy. I just witnessed something that was a bit frustrating. One of the staff members wife and kids had attended the open house (which is meant for kiddos who have never attended their facility before). Their kids were playing in an area, taking it over and not wanting to share, with the other parent present and she didn't direct her kids to share the space. Also, one of their kids was talking very rudely to my 2 year old daughter and was getting away with it. This isn't the fault of the staff member as she had no idea this happened, just frustrating that her partner allowed it to happen. For this reason, they had lost a potential customer.

We had a birthday for my four-year old here and it was the BEST experience! As a busy working Mom I just didn't have the time to organize an event, they took care of everything. The party was structured with activities and free play as well. They made sure my birthday girl felt extra special as well. My son is enrolled in Ninja class and he loves it. I highly recommend my gym! They keep changing the exercise routines every class so it’s never boring and extremely engaging for kids. They also have great lesson structure including breaks which is awesome for kids with special needs.
