I started pilates because I went down a Google rabbit hole on how to fix my back pain that has lasted over two years. I am so happy I did! After a couple classes I started to notice less pain, and after 5 classes I was waking up to my back feeling refreshed. Now after 9 classes my back feels like it used too. I am also gaining flexibility and strength in other areas of my body. To top it all off the instructors are wonderful! Nisa is very experienced and understands how to help you.
Update: It has been about 3 months since I started with N.BODY. Words cannot describe how much better my body and mind feel. I did not realize how disconnected I was from my mind body connection. Not only has my back pain disappeared, I am now in control of my breath and gained more focus within my body. I feel mentally and physically stronger. Standing ovation for Nisa and her team!!

Nina really knows her stuff, I highly recommend taking a private with her to learn about the space, equipment and helpful cues to build body awareness.

Nbody Pilates is the best Pilates studio in Salem hands down! I get fantastic results, I am stronger, and I don't have to see a chiropractor anymore! The studio is also inclusive & a friendly community open to all levels. 😊

do not recommend them; they are irresponsible. They can cancel on you at the last minute and do not offer any compensation, but if you cancel at the last minute, they will charge you. You will not get your money back with them

Nisa is very observant of all her students and is always willing to make modifications for her student's specific needs. I really appreciated her thoroughness and obvious knowledge on the human body! I always left feeling better than when I came in and I couldn't recommend her enough!

I recently moved to the area and I am so glad I found Nisa and N.BODY Pilates studio! Nisa is a lovely person and a talented instructor who is both patient and kind. She has an amazing ability to remember everyone's injuries and adjusts your workout accordingly. Her classes are fun and challenging and I always feel so much better after class. There is a place here for all levels and abilities and Nisa makes everyone feel welcome!

I can’t say enough good things about N Body! I attended my first Pilates class in February and have kept up with weekly classes ever since. It is the highlight of my week! I feel stronger and more connected to my body than I have in years. Nisa is a brilliant teacher who is really in tune with everyone in class. Her classes are limited to 4-8 people so she has plenty of time to connect with everyone and give them one-on-one guidance for the duration of the workout. Highly recommend!

After spending a lifetime in corporate gym America, I can say with certainty that Pilates is what I’ve been searching for throughout the years. As a true skeptic at heart (familiar with only the work harder, push harder, sweat more, complete exhaustion, sore muscles, semi-recovery, do it again tomorrow on a different muscle group), I was true to form in wondering how such small movements and seemingly “little” effort could result in actual change... and then it did. However, IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT PILATES. As with any practice, class or session - I fundamentally believe IT’S AS MUCH ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR, as the work. Nisa’s holistic approach has not only saved my body from future years of ineffective gym time, but she has actually brought strength, peace and healing (hip problems since my early 20s) resulting in an entirely new level of fitness. A level that simply requires me to show up, be real and do the work. I still experience soreness and sweat, but not comparable to before - and believe it (or not, I challenge you to try it for yourself!) I am MORE fit and lean, feel better as a whole and will never look back <3 Thank You Nisa!

I started with an introductory special at NBody five weeks ago and have been addicted ever since. Most of us have been groomed with the “no pain no gain” approach to fitness which encourages us to push our bodies beyond their limits, not listen to pain, develop some unhealthy habits in how we move our bodies and ultimately injure ourselves. Pilates cultivates an incredible awareness of the way your body is supposed to feel and move, and it’s different from any fitness I’ve ever experienced! Ive never looked forward to and craved fitness classes the way I do with NBody. Nisa is so authentically kind, intelligent, talented and caring. The environment she’s created in this studio is so welcoming and approachable, and the members feel more like a family. My body has already begun to change, toning in areas that have been stubborn for a long time, and I feel more limber and capable of tackling the demands of daily life. I became a member after a few classes as I was 100% sold, but Nisa won’t push you or sell you on anything. I can’t recommend this place enough!

I write pretty detailed reviews, so I’ll start with a tldr version.

I have always been one for individual workouts where I’m not expected to interact with anyone, typically swimming and riding my bike. I was never a Pilates or ‘group workout’ person. I started N.Body in January and have been going since. Nisa, the owner, is nothing short of fantastic. She starts each class by a quick check in and creates and maintains relationships with her clients. During the classes she will present an exercise and then provide modifications to make it more or less challenging. I have a shoulder injury and this allowed me to participate safely and provided opportunity to continue exercising within my limits.
The first thing I look at is cost, perhaps it’s due to spending so much time being a frugal student? I have held gym memberships in the past, Nisa’s classes might appear expensive at first, but it’s an investment. I would rather pay more to go to classes and feel good vs. paying less for a gym membership that never/hardly gets used.
Overall, she’s a great teacher, trainer, and overall person. I have never regretted going to a class, which is a pretty big statement.

Nisa is amazing. She is engaged and supportive throughout I love the variety of classes. The surfboards give a whole new meaning to "hardcore". The springboards really help me stretch and tone. Gotta try it!!

The whole picture approach to health is brilliant! The workouts are dynamic and technical but fun and well paced. I love the Surf Set Boards, springboards, and the reformer. My results continue to amaze me. I feel younger, stronger, more balanced, more energetic, and my chronic pain from work (hairstylist) is now managed without drugs ! Seriously... I used to take ibuprofen every night. Highly recommend NBody to anyone on a path of true health & wellness. Meet Nisa, you will see !

I initially started the program to feel strong and better about my body...I had been prescribed prediabetic meds and not happy with how weak I felt. My first workout I literally thought I was going to die! But both instructors were so positive and motivating, and the community there was so encouraging I found myself going back 5x a week..The classes are small and the instructors are passionate and caring about your success..6 months later I feel so much better about my body, and I'm definitely stronger, and oh ya no meds..because seriously, who wants that?? Plus this is the only place in Salem I can do Pilates on.....wait for it......A SURF BOARD! I love the board classes and personal one on one sessions with the reformer are available. Amongst other great tools, classes with Spring boards and mats are taught.. Overall just a really positive place.

The owner of Nbody Pilates is an amazing instructor. She is well versed in Pilates and other areas of fitness. If you are looking for an expert in health and fitness, this is the place to go. Nisa will take good care of you and get you in your best shape.

The Instructor Nisa, is very polite and personable! She has been teaching Pilates for more than 15 years! She also offers classes of Surfboard Fusion. Very awesome! I am pretty sure that she is the only one that offers those classes in Oregon!
