Jordan Staton, his staff, as well as all the other club members I have met at Next Level Barbell have all been fantastic towards me. I am new to this gym and honestly this is the first time since high school (Class of 2014) that I’m getting back into exercise and lifting weights. With that said, I was very nervous about going to the gym because I’m not very confident in myself, and Jordan was very pleasant to work with. Very informative. He helped me with my form and showed me the basics and fundamentals. Every time I’ve been back he always greats me with a smile and a fist bump. Same with most all the other gym members as well. I like this place.

Next Level Barbell isn’t just a gym—it’s a community. From the moment you walk in, you feel the energy, the focus, and the genuine passion for fitness and growth. A huge part of that is thanks to Jordan, the trainer and leader who sets the tone for everything this place represents.
Jordan brings a rare mix of deep knowledge, motivation, and authenticity. Whether you’re just starting out or have years of lifting under your belt, he knows exactly how to meet you where you are and push you beyond your limits. His programming is intentional, challenging, and effective—but more than that, he cares. He celebrates every PR like it’s his own and checks in when you need that extra push.
The environment at Next Level Barbell is serious but supportive, and it attracts people who are there to work hard and improve—mentally and physically. It’s not just about lifting heavy; it’s about leveling up in every way. If you’re looking for a gym that actually lives up to its name, this is it.

This place is awesome! No frills strength with an abundance of barbells, power racks, a sled, landmine, GHR, kettlebells. Did I mention that it is 24 hours?!?!?! Seriously, if you want serious, solid, strength training, join this gym and lets lift something heavy.

I’ve tried various big-box gyms and CrossFit classes, but NLB is the best gym/training experience I’ve ever found. Whether you’re a novice or advanced lifter, the facility has everything you need. The coaches are knowledgeable and personable, and pay attention to your individual needs and goals. The feedback and programming is tailored to you. My strength and overall health/fitness have skyrocketed since I’ve been training here.
The best part about NLB is the community. I can’t recommend the Barbell Club highly enough. It combines the best aspects of group classes, private coaching, and individual training, with none of the downsides. If you’re someone who benefits from external motivation, the supportive social environment is perfect for you. If you don’t like the pressure or competitiveness of group classes, it’s perfect for you. If you like to work out on a flexible schedule, It’s perfect for you. It’s great to train with a group of familiar faces, all working towards their own goals and celebrating each others’ successes. Truly the best experience I’ve had in any fitness program.

Been going to NLB for about 9 months and it's an amazing gym with all the strength equipment you could ask for. It's really nice just having all the free weights and relying on safeties vs cables and all that jazz.
It's available 24hours a day which is nice because I like to either go in the mornings when no one else is there or late at night.

Since the first time I walked into NLB after not being able to get a squat rack several sessions in a row at 24, the trainers and patrons have always been super friendly and welcoming. The equipment is top notch and includes many bars that I've always wanted to try, but never had access to. Highly recommend for folks looking to improve their fitness, without the distractions that come with typical commercial gyms.

In town visiting family. The day passes online ($15) required 6-hours of notice, but I texted the number on the website and they said I could come in right then. They texted me a code and I had the gym more or less to myself. Super clean and well maintained, with squat racks and Rouge plates (bumper and what I think are the calibrated competition ones).
Super pleasant and exactly what I was looking for. I’m excited to come back next time I visit!

Next Level Barbell is one of the best organizations I’ve been a part of, and not just when it comes to athletics, or a gym. The owner is great, the coaches are all fantastic, and the atmosphere is healthy; the members are all interesting and respectful. The equipment is top-notch, and the facilities are clean. The availability of the coaches (for barbell club) include a much better schedule than other gyms, and the price is quite good for the level of expert training you’ll receive. Additionally, there’s never been a shortage of parking.
Jordan is immensely knowledgable about lifting and training. I went from a 65 lb to 315 lb deadlift (and 315 squat) in the space of about eight months with the help of Jordan and the other coaches. Furthermore, I’ve had various pains throughout my life and Having been a nurse for 10 years, and also possessing thorough chiropractic knowledge, Jordan recommended some lifts that actually got rid of that pain. So, in addition to the strength component, my posture, anxiety, and general well-being improved overall. Simply make Jordan and the other coaches aware of your personal goals, and they will help sort you out.
My teammates (the members/clientele) were great, too. I think there is some stereotype that is rife in peoples’ heads about what kind of person might go to a strength gym, and admittedly, I might have initially believed that notion, too. However, the people are all very different, and interesting, and most importantly, respectful. As a large portion of barbell club is resting in between sets, I had a chance to talk and strike up bonds with many of the members. There’s that adage that, “Always assume the person you’re talking to knows something you don’t,” and that’s certainly the case here: many different people with many different backgrounds helped me learn and discover things I’d’ve otherwise not considered.
I cannot recommend NLB enough. If you're on the fence, do not hesitate, and go check it out.

Jordan knows his stuff. I used to injure myself with deadlifts anytime I approached 225 lbs. Jordan worked through all the major lifts with me to help correct my technique. 6 months later, I lifted a PR of 425 lbs with no fear of injury.
I can’t thank Jordan enough for the difference he made in my lifting life. He’ll get you on the right path so you can get stronger in a safe way.

I started working with the coaches at Next Level Barbell about 4 months ago. The Coaches are great to work to help you archive your strength goals.
My main goal was to stay strong as I move to my latter years in life. I have lifted for a while with out any coaching. After I stared working with Jordan and crew I have made more progress than I could have Imagined possible for an older person(59).
Attending Barbell club twice a week lifting with others was what I enjoy most. Every one is so supportive and will cheer you as you keep pushing to to get stronger 5lbs at a time.
Its a great community unlike corporate big box gyms you get what you pay for

I initially sought Jordan out due to lower back pain from working as a line cook as well as a desire for strength and general fitness. I've been training with him a few years now and I can not over-emphasize how fortunate I feel to have such a knowledgeable and passionate coach in my hometown.
Beyond being a top-tier Starting Strength coach, his background as a nurse and experience rehabing through barbell training made me stronger, healthier, and my pinched nerve has been a million times better. He always has a solid and data-driven answer to almost any question I've ever asked, definitely no "bro-science" to be found here.
The other thing that sets this gym apart from others is the focus on community. I was hesitant to start weightlifting, as I was never a very physical person and I had a very stereotyped view of weightlifters. Everyone at Next Level, coaches and clients both, are the most supportive people I've ever been around and Jordan sponsors many team events, such as dinners and friendly competitions, that help bring everyone together.
If you want to get stronger and healthier in an inclusive and supportive atmosphere surrounded by great people, this gym is what you're looking for.

In the first 6 months I went from a 125lb squat, 75lb overhead press, 135lb deadlift and 115lb bench press to a 435lb squat, 175lb overhead press, 405lb deadlift, and 275lb bench press. Exceptional progress far above and beyond what I had gotten at any other place before, and my form was significantly improved as well.
Halfway through this progression my back started having trouble recovering, which wasn't a problem because the head coach, Jordan Stanton, also has 10+ years of nursing experience and is excellent at rehabilitation. With a couple small changes to my workouts the problem went away in a couple weeks and my back feels stronger than ever before.
Before coming here I shopped around and every other option available was both more expensive and had less features, less qualified staff, and less training results to show for it. Plus the gym is designed to encourage community so you never feel left out of anything, especially because everyone gets to know each other quite well.
If you want to get better results in a safer manner while surrounded by people who end up becoming actual friends and not just "gym buddies" then I would suggest giving this next level barbell a shot.

I have been working with jordan for nearly 3 years. And competing in powerlifting for 4 years. At the time i hired him, i was just tired of spinning my wheels. I already had several years of barbell training under my belt, but my lifts did not reflect the work i put in.
In the 3 years of working with him i have added over 200lbs to my squat. 100lbs to my bench. 150lbs to my deadlift and 60lbs to my overhead press. Not to mention being 30lbs heavier and a few body fat % leaner. Yes jordan knows what he is doing.
Aside from just the straight performance gain, as corny as it sounds, joining next level barbell is like a family. Many of us talk through social media. Comment on each other's posts. And usually have a good idea of what everyone's pr is on each lifts. Not just the coaches, but other clients invest in each other. We all care about how each other is doing. To fully grasp what joining the team is like, come see a "king of the hill".

I've been working with the team here for more than a year. I started because I was interested in being healthier and stronger, but I got much more than that. I got connected with great coaches with thorough expertise in coaching the lifts, and Jordan's healthcare background has definitely informed his coaching practice. I was welcomed into a friendly community that has men and women, young an old, of various persuasions and backgrounds. I have gotten healthier and stronger, and I've gotten better at training, and I've met fantastic people on the staff and in the gym. The equipment is great, and they have everything I need. The big advantage to membership here is the coaching, though. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I can't say enough about all the positive changes I've experienced as a result of training here. I originally started training to build strength and support for singing. I was really pleased and surprised at how quickly I gained strength. The gains you will make working at NLB will fill your core with power in ways you can't imagine. I've overcome hip pain, old injuries I thought would forever impact my gait, and learned to appreciate how breathing and focus will harness strength you never knew you had.
Whatever physical goal you have, and whatever condition you are starting in, there is a place for you at NLB. I've seen clients of all shapes, ages, and sizes work out here, and heard their testimonies about how much training has improved their lives. Jordan has experience as a nurse and integrates lifting into wellness. The goal here is to make you stronger in a safe and supportive environment. I personally work with coach Jeremy and strongly recommend him as well!
Go for it, you'll be so glad you did!
