A girlfriend and I dropped in for a late evening strengthening class (only $15!). I wanted to go here because of all the plants I saw in review pictures. We were not disappointed! Very low key vibe and nestled away in an awesome industrial warehouse building. Julie (with black hair) instantly made us feel welcome and they were very accommodating on our first visit. They did a great job at instructing, I enjoyed the pace and challenge of the poses, which I learned a lot more of. Signed up for a whole month of classes so I can see what all of the instructors have to offer. Canβt wait!

I just moved across the street, and Iβm so thrilled to have this studio within walking distance. The space is gorgeous, and the teachers are experienced and top notch. As a former yoga teacher myself, Iβm quite discerning when it comes to teachers, and i donβt give out such high praise easily or often.

I've been coming here for years and it's my second home. If you crave a cozy studio with windows to the mountains, a diverse mix of plants, no mirrors and real community, this might be the place for you. Truly the most beautiful studio in town, not to mention the best teachers. It's only $30 for your first 30 days! I think that might be the best deal in town. Love!

Love North Portland Yoga! I'm so lucky to have this amazing studio as a neighbor. Caring, skilled teachers offer plenty of different styles. Plus the beautiful studio always leaves me feeling transported.

Nice relaxing space and ample class schedule! We're just visiting for the month but will attend classes at this gem of a place as frequently as I can. Yes, parking can be an issue (like everywhere in this city) and for reasons unknown the theatre lot isn't being utilized. Still, it won't keep me away. Thanks for the great yoga NPY!

We have been attending yoga classes at this locations for a few weeks, and I have to say this place is pretty special. The yoga practitioners are great and the place has a phenomenal energy. Keep doing what you are doing, we are lucky to live in the neighborhood and have such a great place close by!

My daughter and I have begun attending their weekly donation classes and appreciate them so much. As a single parent and one income family, we have never been able to afford to take any class together before. We now get to go to yoga together, in a beautiful space, with kind teachers and are having so much fun. Thank you.

Beautiful space and great yoga class...you relax in a nice open space surrounded by tall old brick walls and vivacious plants. Parking is very easy and this is on a quaint little street so ignore whoever commented about the car issue. Not really sure how you can point the finger and say it's definitely yoga students considering this is a city and anyone can park on a quaint street without hitting other cars not really sure what that had to do with the yoga studio which is AMAZING. Staff was friendly, prices are affordable, and they have a nice and included tea station. Sunday morning w sweet home is a treat!

Too bad the disgruntled neighbor's one star is dragging the rating down. This studio has the best teachers in Portland.

This business treats the community TERRIBLY. They encourage customers to park on the street when they have a perfectly good parking lot creating a serious hazard. Several of our cars have been hit and damaged by their clients. They never leave a note or insurance information. DO NOT SUPPORT businesses like this who do not respect their neighbors!!!
Yoga is supposed to foster peace, but North Portland Yoga fosters animosity.

NoPo yoga is amazing and in my opinion, one of the most beautiful studios in Portland. It has an industrial loft feeling, with exposed brick walls, large bay windows, and tall lush potted plants placed in the corners of the studio. The sense of community, openness and warmth emanated from the first time I walked in. I was cheerfully welcomed by the person at the front desk, asked to sign in on a paper-less tablet, and offered tea before class. My experience of the teachers has been nothing but positive. Each teacher has a very distinct style, but all of them are so present, and do not have any sense of elitism. I'd highly recommend checking NoPo out, there are several more beginner classes available if you're just starting your practice.

Horrible treatment of surrounding neighbors. Lack of parking for customers. Creating hazards for community with excessive traffic.

I love North Portland Yoga. I feel that they bring a good energy and group of people to the neighborhood. A previous reviewer commented about being bad neighbors. I hope that there is some mutual conversation about how to improve things.

They are horrible neighbors to the residents around their studio. Good business doesn't make up for bad community practice.

I have been practicing hot yoga for last few years and have been needing a change. My quest for a new studio to call home lead me to North Portland Yoga and I couldn't be happier! The space, instructors, energy, classes, practitioners all exude positive energy. I'm excited to deepen my practice here!
