Awful management. We pulled our daughter from gymnastics classes after they failed to provide any notice to parents that they wouldn't have classes Labor Day weekend. Showed up on Saturday (2 days before Labor Day) and found dozens of other confused parents and kids wandering the parking lot. Don't waste your money here, go to Oregon Gymnastics Academy (OGA) who understands the importance of communicating with tuition paying parents.

We signed up my son here for recreational gymnastics and my son loved it so much I decided to enroll him into the preschool at the gym where he has a couple of gym sessions during each school day. It was a struggle to get my son to his regular preschool but he was always excited for gymnastics preschool days. This is definitely a top notch gymnastics program but academically very impressive as well. My son’s spelling, reading and math skills improved so much after joining their preschool. I felt like my son got individualized education catered to him. I am so thankful for the thoughtful attention and care from his teachers. I know my son felt this as well from his enthusiasm for this school.

Unfortunately, our experience with this gym has not been a positive one. My daughter attended classes there for over three years, going twice a week, but we did not see any significant improvement or even a solid grasp of basic gymnastics skills. This was surprising and disappointing, especially given the time and commitment involved.

During a team screening, she was initially selected, but we chose to postpone enrolling her in the team until the following year. When we returned to enroll her, we were told she no longer qualified because she lacked the necessary foundational skills. I spoke with the owner directly, and she evaluated my daughter and confirmed this assessment.

What was most frustrating was the explanation I received when I asked how a child could attend classes for so long without acquiring even the basics. The response was that recreational gymnastics is "just for fun." I found this reasoning both dismissive and unacceptable. When I compared it to swimming—where you'd naturally expect a child to learn basic skills, not just play—the owner responded that swimming is different. That kind of justification felt like a way to avoid accountability rather than address a genuine concern.

Overall, I would not recommend this gym to families who are looking for a place where their children can actually learn and grow in the sport. Fun is important, but it should not come at the expense of real progress or quality instruction.

Our kiddo loves this place. If she could train 3X a week she would.

Let me start off by saying the teachers are phenomenal, and saints for teaching rambunctious toddlers. Each class has been an amazing experience, and we have no complaints after 6 months at OMEGA. We look forward to being here for a long time, my child is 4 years old and cannot wait for her weekly class. Their cost is very reasonable, and they have so many class options to choose from. The facility is clean and the classes for kids are well structured for their age.

In response to another review, we have been working with Dan for about 2 years now and he has been nothing but very professional and a real great employee to work with as has all the staff and coaches at omega. My 4 year old really has learned a lot during her 2 years of preschool and is looking forward to some of the summer camps as well as preschool again next school year. We have a 7 month old that will be following our oldest as soon as possible. They get the highest rating possible from our family! Thank you all. Brian

They won’t care about this review for sure since they don’t care to listen to you. You are NOT allowed to express your opinion or Even if you just kindly ask to have another instructor (due to her incompetence like being far away from any sport and inability to do simple warm up , not even gymnastics elements) , you will be kicked off like uncomfortable member.
It’s understandable that there is a small competition in this business , so be quiet and humble ;)
Can’t give one star just being fair to some great instructors out there like Dex, Hailey…
They might respond to this with standard phrases like all instructors are trained and tested, that you are matter etc etc They can’t admit and tell the truth obviously

However we know the owners take training their own kids very seriously and professionally and you are just nothing but flow of people.
And our kid was kicked off and very traumatized by being excluded for no reason , which is extremely heartbreaking.
You can do nothing in this capitalism example but hope that karma is fair to everyone

This is by far the best preschool and gymnastics combination, and our daughter, age 4, loves to go to 5 times a week. The crafts and learning projects are great and there is always enough staff to feel comfortable that you are leaving your loved one in good hands. Every teacher ,coach, and staff member is very caring and professional, you couldnt find better people anywhere. The awards show at the end of the year is spectacular, a must see event. Highly recommended.! Thank you Omega ! Brian Clark

Leaving a 5 star review because the responses to kaleena and lucky girl are so funny and they certainly got put into their place after trying to create some negative narrative. Best of luck to their families lol.

Began looking into enrolling my 3 children. Was told by "Vivianna" that my 11 year old could take the intermediate class today. When I called this morning to confirm, was treated horribly by the front desk person, Dan.

My daughter has been in gymnastics since she was 5 and phased out at her last gymnastics academy, Precision Elite. Vivianna and I spoke at length about her skill level.

They require a staff member evaluate your childs skills before they can begin, but that staff member is difficult to get ahold of and isn't available on weekends.

I politely explained to Dan that I was told my daughter could start today and that my child was very much looking forward to class based on what Vivianna told me yesterday. His response was incredibly rude and crass "I don't know what to tell you". He then spoke over me and began yelling when I expressed dissatisfaction with his demeanor.

He then proceeded to tell me my children aren't even enrolled. (We've been speaking about enrollment for over a week.) When I explained I planned on doing enrollment paperwork this morning when I got there for their clazses he told me "this conversations over" and hung up on me.

I was trying to enroll three children and will not be doing so after this.

I cannot believe anyone would employ such a horribly disrespectful person when working with children. They should re evaluate the individual representing them to the public, Dan. I am SHOCKED at his demeanor toward parents.

When I asked for owner contact information, he refused to give that out and told me he would give then mine but that he couldn't tell me when they'd call.

I'll be taking my 3 children to anywhere other than here.

You should be ashamed of yourself, Dan.

Great place, my kid's have been going there for about two years now and they love it. We were hesitant to go back after the Covid shutdown, but we are happy we did, they are doing a fantastic job making everyone wear a mask and sanitizing often.

I take my 2 year old to patent participation class, coach Haley is a dream with kids. She might ge tiny but don’t underestimate her ability to lead a group of kiddos in fun and meaningful ways… so I’ve seen her communication to other coaches abs she truly is a professional. She also helps mom when I need it, she truly makes the class possible for us. Thank you so so much!

We love this gym.
The coaches are knowledgeable, dedicated, kind, and reliable. We've experienced this in the recreational classes, team level, and most lately with another tumbling class. So cool how well the instructors can guide the athletes to better their movements and abilities with such precision. Thanks Seth, Tiffany, Gavin, David... on and on, you guys are terrific. (And great admins, too!)

I love attending the adult classes. The gym is extremely clean, the staff is knowledgeable, caring and friendly. This is the highlight of my week. The adult class takes place every Tuesday. I’d love to have one more adult class added so I can come twice a week.

My daughter started at OMEGA when she was 2 years old with Coach Hailey. She was her first coach and remained with her for 5 years through the rec program and pre-team. She moved from pre-team to the competitive team! She has grown so much as a gymnast and loves it! The coaches at OMEGA are professional, well-trained, encouraging, and has a great facility.
Also, they offer a wonderful Adult class! I look forward to the class and have learned so much!
Thank you for your hard work and dedication to helping me and my daughter work towards our gymnastic goals.

We've been going to OMEGA for over 3 years. Both my boys started in the rec program and loved it so much that they regularly participated in other programs like camp, tumbling (now part of the mini-camp program), parent's night out, and more. My older son moved onto the competitive program and has done 2 years so far with the team. The great coaches make great gymnasts but also hard-working, focused, strong, team-oriented kiddos. In addition to gym, we are leveraging OMEGA's distance learning program to give my little learner a good place to do virtual school with some supervision (and recess in the gym- his favorite part).

Please never get rid of the adult class! It’s literally my favorite part of my week. The gym amenities are all I could ask for and more plus the staff are all amazing.

Also, please consider giving Coach David a raise. He’s a wonderful coach who is very skilled at listening/communicating with all students and my confidence of throwing skills has improved a lot with his help.

The absolute best gymnastics place around. We had tried another location for around 4 months, and were so disappointed by the constantly changing coaches, most of whom had no gymnastics or coaching experience, and who could not keep the kids engaged. We then had the great fortune of finding Omega Gymnastics and could not believe the difference! The coaches (Hailey is our daughter's coach) have actual gymnastics and coaching experience. Further, Hailey is able to keep all of the kids engaged and active. She has limitless patience and enthusiasm that motivates and excites the kids every time. Our daughter is learning and growing with each passing week. Beyond the wonderful, consistent coaching and classes, the gym is unmatched in professionalism and kindness from the awesome desk staff. This is a true gym. A very professional business. And still, very much a place for kids to have a blast while learning to listen, challenge themselves, and grow in their abilities. We couldn't ask for more.

Omega has great staff, great facilities. It is our daughter's home away from home. We have been a proud Omega family since our daughter first started in gymnastics. The overall program, the caliber of the coaches, the families, the overall program has in our experience been great. While there are many other gyms and facilities in the area, tracking how the Omega program continues to grow and achieve has been well deserved and has earned our trust and respect each year.

Parents be warned. I scheduled a summer camp for my daughter, NOT EVEN 24 hours later I called to cancel. They refunded me all but $75. $25 was a registration fee and I get that not being refunded. The $50 she called a merchant fee. NOT EVEN 24 HOURS. The person I spoke with to refund was polite, she said 'by looking at the address this is kind of far for you'. She then told AMEX that it is only a 12 minute drive. Any drive on 217 at rush hour is well over 12 minutes, more like 30. So disappointed.
